      Yeah bro, it's a nightmare trying to find an outlet sometimes. I'll be honest, I think that fhe Milwaukee table and miter saws are way more powerful the the corded tools. That table saw is an extremely smooth cutting beast

  • @robswingler
    @robswingler 4 года назад +8

    A 9.0 battery won’t give you the extra power like the HO batteries so always use a 12, 8 , 6

    • @ToolReviewZone
      @ToolReviewZone  4 года назад +2

      Yeah that's a good point with the HD batteries. I guess what I should have said was stay away from the smaller batteries like the 5.0

    • @jasonwomack4064
      @jasonwomack4064 4 года назад

      @@ToolReviewZone it would be interesting to see how long a 5.0 battery holds up using this saw. I could see a lot of guys at the end of a long day having their high end batteries trashed, and reaching for the small ones to limp through the last few cuts on a job.

    • @matt0198922
      @matt0198922 3 года назад

      Yeah Milwaukee's batter lineup is like this:
      CP (compact): 1 row of cells
      XC (extended capacity): 2 rows of cells
      HD (high demand): 3 rows of cells
      HO: high output...instead of using the smaller 18650 (18mm x 65mm) cells, they use larger 21700 (21mm x 70mm) cells, which can pump out (or pump in during charging) the amps, which means, since POWER (watts) is volts x amps...well, if you can increase the amperage delivery on your same 18V platform...you get more POWER.
      So the CP 3.0 HO is...1 row of cells, but in 21700 cells
      The XC 6.0 HO (there's an XC non-HO 6.0, too) and XC 8.0 HO are 2 rows of 21700 cells
      The HD 9.0 (non-HO) is 3 rows of 18650 cells
      The HD 12.0 HO is the king...3 rows of 21700 cells! You can pull the most amps out of it since each cell has to do less work. So the 12.0 can be regular duty that works forever, or super high amp/draw duty that will still remain cool and not overheat each individual cell!

    That was so sweet that was one of the reasons that I was going to go with the DeWalt battery operated for that reason that you could buy a corded battery but I have the small 7 and 1/4 DeWalt battery chop saw and that thing lasts all day and I figured going corded because the chop box and the table saw are basically stationery tools so running a cord really isn't that bad because you're not moving them around but I like to Milwaukee 12 inch

      Yeah I know what you mean with the 10". It definitely does seem to be more powerful, but it may just be in my head because it's a bigger saw. Really dig that it is a one battery operation, and the 12.0 HO is just straight savage! With all the 12's and 8's we have, we wouldn't run out of power for a dang month.
    I imagine this saw and the dewalt are the two new top dogs. Between portability, power, and precision. I'd be hard pressed to believe it can outperform the sexy flexy. The 120v option on the dewalt is great, but I've only used the adapter once. I prefer just slapping some 12's in there and rolling on. And they seem to run faster on battery anyway.
    Would also like to maybe see the Makita 18v X2 compound slider and the metabo multivolt compound slider.
    It would be alot to take on by yourself Clint. This seems like a great opportunity to have that "Tool Duel Raw" if you will.....

      Hahaha, awesome comment bro, thanks so much lol. I think vince actually had the dewalt saw, and would love to do another collab with my dude. We'll figure something out for sure, but I'll reach out to Acme and see if they could help with the dewalt. They are really awesome
