Thank you for going into such depth on Imperial Steam. Your enthusiasm really shows. I'm heading over to Capstone to pre-order next. I recently picked up Lignum and am enjoying it.
Thanks for making such a beautiful looking game! The overall look and feel really pulled me in, and the icons on the player boards are, I imagine, super helpful when playing the game without scripting.
I know I'm late to this party, I taught a 4p game, all newbies (including me) half hour teach, and about 2 1\2 hours play, we got to trieste in round 7. The winner actually had 1 influence but had a carp ton of contracts and someone had to pay her 80 bucks to fill his contracts
I'm not generally a trick-taking fan but Scout looks pretty great! Also props to Taylor for taking an excellent example image, haha. You had everything in that one photo to explain how the whole game works
Re: Imperial Steam, you said if no one gets to Trieste then your unfulfilled contracts are worth negative points. That's incorrect- if no one gets to Trieste then contracts are ignored entirely. It is only if someone gets to Trieste that your unfulfilled contracts are worth negative points.
This was pointed out to me shortly after the video went live and I really thought I'd put a correction about that into the video. It seems that's not the case, so thanks for pointing this out. I have added a note now.

Scout! looks incredible. The double sided cards alone would make for a fun game but add in that locked hand order, and I can't wait to grab it

I sent him an example photo of what I was looking for and he sent me back like 6 different shot options! He was super helpful here for sure.
