The Cove - Stop #2 for Antiquing on Vacation 2024

- Our next stop for antiquing this summer in RI/MA was my next favorite, New Bedford Antiques at the Cove. It’s the lower level in a former factory building right next to the water, you can smell the ocean as you go in then the musk of antiques as you peruse lol. They have a huge space with tons of vendors and lots of them have booth discounts. All I can say is if we lived closer and we needed furniture, this would be the place to go!
Can you guess what came home with me from here? I’ll give a hint, big and pink lol

Jewelry here is all junkie costume, unfortunately. Good costume sure, I’ll look at it but sadly I’ve not found any here worth looking.

Oh if you saw the jewelry they had there … you’d run with your hair on fire or knowing you you’d go get your bucket and soap to do a soak haha

TA Limoges 3:25
There were 3 sets of Limoges at that one booth! The gray set was T&V and only $45 but not a complete set, the Haviland was service for 8 with serving pieces and it was ridiculously cheap I want to say $75 on sale and then they had that whole shelf of Ceralene with the blue and almost complete service for 10 with serving pieces, but it was $950!

@@Dana-KillerQueenAntiqueJewelry when I showed mom she said I should have asked best price on the $950 set and they would have come down. I just priced out some pieces on eBay and it was actually a really good deal when you factor in shipping too. Oh well, where am I gonna store it?! And the car was packed already! I was trying to bring a hydrangea home haha

@@Dana-KillerQueenAntiqueJewelry haha yes but it was a line and color I had not seen before and it was way cheaper and very healthy looking. Sadly it did not fit unless we made the kids hold it in the back haha
