I am aware of only about 8 full size reproductions flying in the USA.
    There are a few overseas.
    1) Tim Plunkett's N18FK flying out of Spruce Creek Florida. It has a Gipsy 175 engine.
    2) Jerry Yagen has N1918P built by Byron Peterson. It has an inverted 200hp Ranger
    3) Jerry Yagen has N1918F built by Fred Berg. It has a 6 cylinder Hall Scott engine.
    4) Andrew Parks has N18852 built by his father in Colorado. It has an inverted 20 hp Ranger
    5) Rhinebeck, NY has N70814 which has an original Mercedes engine.
    6) My plane N7756J out of Geneseo NY. It has an inverted 200 hp Ranger
    7) Kermit Weeks N269ZW out of Polk Fla. It has a reproduction Mercedes but I don't think it has flown it's Maiden flight yet.
    8) Roger Freeman's N5118F has a Gipsy 30 but I don't think it has had it's maiden flight yet either.
If there are other full size reproductions out there (in the US) I'd like to hear more about them.

Saw it at Oshkosh and took a few dozen pictures. The attention to detail was great.

A de Havilland Gypsy engine in a Fokker 7, that's either a diplomatic triumph or a subtle act of defiance from the Anglo world to the Germanic 😂

The 1982-83 mecha anime _Chou Jikyu Yosai Makuros/Super Dimension Fortress Macross_ features a young pilot named Ichijyo Hikaru who supposedly flew Fokker D.VII's in airshows with his mentor Roy Focker, also a military pilot (Ep.1). When Hikaru joined the military and was put in a hospital, Roy visited him and gave him a D.VII model to build and pass the time during recovery (Ep.18).

Is Peter Jackson showing up for this? He's supposed to own several original aircraft.

How do you fly into Oshkosh without a radio? Or does it have a radio hidden somewhere?

On that takeoff, it's being watched by an f-18... menacingly parked in the back.
