Thank you so much for all the support recently, to give back as much as possible back to you, I've put everything from this video into this downloadable book here 👇

I'm going to break my own rule of no longer commenting on your videos, to leave, well, a comment. As a body of 'advice' I pretty much agree with all of this. Nice work. One thing I would tell people is... "If you are looking to get into the hobby, do not get stuck in talking to people about things like 'range' and 'packet rates' and 'latency'. When you go and fly for the first time, none of that means diddly-squat and for 99 percent of pilots, it never will". Nice work again Mr Reed.

i mean talking about those things usually just comes up even when choosing a system for the first time, imo knowledge is power, and also for those flying on a sim and going to the real world, especially if youre not just flying on a wide open field, having that comfort of knowing your brand new quad isnt going to failsafe is definitely a nice thing to have in the back of every new pilot's mind

Rates, they really are as important as people think. This is where a whoop comes in, you can sit in front of your pc, fly your house... come back and adjust your rates, again, again, again... and you'll learn what the changes do, and eventually you'll find something that suits you. You'll get the right feeling, that connection, they really are personal.

Been flying FPV since 2020 and drones since 2014. ALL of these tips are 100% on point. Great stuff! Tiny Whoops made me spend more on any other drones lmaooo

Great content Maan, as always. And I'm here as lots of us because of the 11 advice. Your video quality and your sincere opinion about the panorama are super valuable and are saving me a lot of time and money on the hoby as a newbe. Again, thanks for the content, and keep it real :)

Hopefully Brodie finds the time machine, or this may be the last video uploaded for some time.
The time travel thing is great concept. Could be exceptional for learning, just rewind to undo after each crash!

That’s a damn good video I just watched!
I have a 100 hours in Velocidrone and just now I’m saving up for my first fpv drone. If anyone has experience with flying a freestyle 5 inch and tinywhoop drones, which one should a beginner like me go for? I’m really not too sure because I like the inertia the 5 inch quads in the sim have. Being able to fling yourself and do whatever dodecahedron Rubik’s cube and only then feeling your quad begin to fall is really appealing to me. 😆

Cetus X from BetaFPV is a perfect beginner drone. If you're looking for a 5" iflight nazgull f5 / evoque.

brought botgrinder as OG and then didn't mention him :(
He is weird but very genuine, just like Mad Tech he is rough on some products but he is super genuine. JB nowadays feels little biased. But anyways i consider him as Godfather :D

Bot is great too, I just don’t watch a lot of his content, whereas I watch nearly every MadsTech video there is ✌️

I mean, I've flown maybe 20 hours and could have told you the same thing...
I also disagree with #8 6:35... There are many reason to build your own drone such as knowing how to repair, and having some respect for the craft. The issue we are seeing are everyone buying bind and flys and taking them to Stadiums, getting legislation introduced, and then they quit anyways since it was a gift from their wife's boyfriend, and there is no real attachment to the hobby besides "flying where I shouldn't".
