I'm surprised that there are only two screws holding the filter in place. It looks like the top of the filter is not tight and therefore maybe not well sealed? You can see it move at 8:37 when you push on it. All that aside though, did you notice any improvement in sound from the intake or any performance gains?
The K&N filter fitted well in the housing and the outside is completely made of rubber. So that sealed well against the plastic housing. After installing the K&N no power gain or other noise noticeable. Greetings Jan
Nice video but there is no need to remove the fuel tank or disconnect any hoses or wires. With the tank propped up there is easy access to the screws holding the airbox cover down. Once the airbox cover is lifted halfway, the filter can be removed and replaced.
Hello, maybe it is indeed possible to do it the way you discribe. But i like to have some place to work. And removing the entire fuel tank is not a lot of work when you already tilted it. So i prefer to do it that way, but if you have the same result with tilting the fuel tank, that is also a good way to do it. Greetings. Jan

You can remove the tank If there is still fuel in the tank. But you Will have a little bit of spill then. The best is to remove it when its almost empty.
@@JanSV i understand that you have to install it back. I'm just wondering how come the gas doesn't pour out after you disconnect the hoses when you removed the tank. Does the tank have a valve that stops the gas from coming out?
@@farxalfonso8487 Hello Alfonso, when i removed the gas tank, there was still a lot of fuel in the tank, when i took it away from the bike, there was a spill of a few ml of fuel. Then i put it on the gras, and there the fuel was leeking. So the gras died and there was a lot of fuel out of the tank. So it still leaks when you take the fuel tank away.
there is a check valve that is normally closed on the petrol line. Until the engine is powered up the valve stays closed and the fuel will not spill out of the tank.
I mean, this is a 2019 Model, the first Year CBR650R. This Model have Problem by cooling the Motor. Honda Thailand know this but not help the Customers. To now i know 6 Persons, who was crashed because the Motor spreaded out the Water to Expansion Bottle and from Overflowtube to Rear Tyre. I crashed too and after the Heat from Exhaust was melting the Expansion Bottle. So be careful if change a Airfilter and will drive long Time with High RPM and the Watertemp. If Icon on Dashboard starts to blinking, the Water will spray out. I only want warning.
Hello, that is bad news. Never heard of it. I hope i will be spared from that problem. But i wil keep looking at the temperature when driving it. Thanks for the advice.

Did the intake sound change ?
No it sounds the same. Also the same hp. So it feels. I feel no difference.
Notice any difference in power or sound?
No difference
Is it ok? Removal a tank. If tank full of fuel?

How does the gas doesn't pour out when yun remove the hoses?
You have to install everything back before you start the engine. The K&N does not make a big difference. Quit the same like the original air filter.
