  • The Torq Mod surfboard has been treated to a new graphics package for this Summer. This is going to be a very popular board this season, so if you want one don't drag your heels!
The Swiss army knife of the Torq quiver, the Mod Fun can do it all and will work for a wide range of abilities and sizes.
The board features a medium full nose and shallow mid-entry rocker and there is plenty of volume for smaller mushier waves. When the surf gets bigger the Mod Fun can handle it; just plant your back foot above the fins and the board takes on a whole new persona. It couldn't be further from a mini-mal, the Mod Fun delivers performance in bucket loads! The Mod Fun has a traditional three fin thruster set-up and comes with a set of Futures fins.
Torq Surfboards are constructed using the most up-to-date Epoxy Technology, using the latest EPS Epoxy Materials. The lightweight EPS Core is combined with Biaxial fibreglass cloth, Epoxy resin and Torq's unique Shield Skin. Constructed in the most advanced mould on the planet, creating the most perfect production every time.
This unique combination of advanced materials and high-tech construction produces a board that performs at the very highest level, offering lightweight shapes with a responsive flex (missing on some cheaper Epoxy boards) but also makes for a really durable and strong surfboard. Your new Torq mini mal will keep you stoked from your first wave to your last. Enjoy!

    I’m trying to choose be a modfun, fish and v+. I’m 5”5”
120 pounds. Not surfing super often. Had short board experience in the 80’s, not enjoying long foamies but also super rusty and not super aggressive. Recommend a board and size?

Either the Torq mod fun or mod fish will be a great starting place, stable, forgiving but will allow progression to take place. fun boards which can be surfed in a wide range of conditions !

Hi! 8ft boards are always a good starting place for anyone looking to get their first harder board or someone wanting a bit more maneuverability in their surfing, it also offers plenty of stability and control which is ideal for dialing in your skills and getting them mastered, if you're committed and want to push yourself go for a 7' 2 , this will be more maneuverable and responsive.
