    Great to see you experiencing all the fumbles that we mere mortals do. Keep being honest and showing us that you too can get it wrong occasionally. Showing that you’re human too can never be a failure. I’m hooked, keep it up.

    Exactly what i was looking for when I searched for it. Well done on the video. Now I only need to find a small enough torx to undo the screx in the handle so I can fix my knife :P

    Good demonstration. I have a Kershaw knife where the spring doesn't really "expell" the blade anymore, so I was going to take it apart to see what I can do to fix it. I figured there was some sort of wound up torsion-type spring, but now I know what to expect inside. Good point about opening the blade prior to disassembly.

    You are one the best companies I know, because you focus on one thing to sell, and you do it extremely well. Like, for example, the first time I saw a lot of knives was from Grindworx.Very reliable knives as well. I’ve been using a 3.5 inch balisong for about a year or two, and it still functions great. I’m trying to get the 2.75 stilleto but it keeps going out of stock.

    Thanks for the help I busted my knife open on accident and was to worried I'd hurt myself to do anything about it so I just put it away. I think I can probably fix it now.

    Thanx Holly!!...ah, so the disassembly secret is to open the blade first!!...ill admit, ive ruined a couple of asst open knives (they had issues), and i think the OTF mechanics are much easier to deal with. BUT NOW IM MORE CONFIDENT!!...Girls with knives are the best!!...thanks Grindies...

    • @gcarmen4490

      Easier to conceal than a fixed blade with the benefit of a quick deployment.

    • @keats27
      @keats27 3 года назад

      @@gcarmen4490 so...quick deployment? I mean, any folder is going to be easier to conceal (and carry), but...if you want to flick open a well-made manual folder, it's still plenty quick. I just got (few months ago) a kershaw random leek....GREAT edc, Sandvik steel, good blade shape 3" 3oz. And I partly got it to try the assist. It IS neat...but having that spring in the pocket...even with the excellent safety...I just don't see that much advantage to flicking it vs. say...a manual with flipper tab and ball bearings...any other reason that I'm not seeing?
