Just made this whole thing for dinner..."vodka" sauce AND magic broccoli over pasta. YUM! For my plant-based and vegan folks out there, sub in a can of unsweetened coconut milk WITHOUT guar gum to replace the heavy whipping cream, and I used "Go Veggie" plant-based parmesan. ❤

I don't know why but seeing Evan and Katelyn bond and have fun not only as a husband and wife but also as little kids is so fun and nice to watch. I also love seeing them not argue over anything and just relax and not be tense where other couples and partners fail under pressure is nice and refreshing to see.
when i use the flexible cutting mats to transfer ingredients to the pot, if you curl it into a tube, you can use the outer edge to scrape all the chopped veg/herb into the pot :) instead of flinging it everywhere or using your hand. if you don't want to deal with your tomato sauce popping, just turn the heat down. it doesn't need high heat to cook, just consistent heat to stay warm. you can always evaporate water out with time instead of heat.

I’ve watched a few of the videos that you are make. And I love the fact that both of you love your cat so much that you built a Catio , I just bought a house and I’m inspired to build something similar for my dog. You both have great chemistry. That’s why I continue to watch and it’s great to see a man actually care about an animal in a video in reality. As Italian I really appreciate that you made pasta “al dente” and point it haha. Fun fact! It literally means “to the tooth” . And about the comments of sauce on top of the pasta plate, is because you can undercook a little bit the pasta and finish that 1 minute or 2 with the sauce (keep some spoon of pasta water) so it absorbs the flavors 🍝

My family's favorite way to make broccoli is to add garlic infused olive oil and parmesan cheese and bake it in the oven. It is amazing. My little sister who hates vegetables loves it and we never have any left over ( my mom cooks like she's feeding a village) . I high recommend you try it.

yall i made this for the second time and i even doubled the recipe bc it was so good the first time. it sooo good. this sauce is like the flavor of the waking up refreshed from a nice nap, wiggling your toes and feeling the cool sheets touching them, and then turning over and cuddling a cat

I made this tonight for dinner. I used vodka because I have it and my can of crushed tomatoes was 24oz. Also, I only have half & half on hand for my coffee instead of heavy cream, so I put a little starch water from the pasta in to thicken it up more. Anyways... delicious! Husband loved it. I’ll make it again. Can’t wait to make the broccoli because we eat a LOT of broccoli too and I usually toss it in olive oil, garlic, salt, garlic, and smoked paprika and bake it but I’ll try it in my wok instead.
I love the smell of wine (and most other alcoholic drinks) but I can't stand the taste of alcohol, so whenever I am in a social situation where people around me are drinking I ask them if I cna smell their drink and feel like a weirdo. It is nice to see someone else can sorta relate! thank you for the great content E&K
