they don't need to do that, we don't need giant tablet like screens in a truck. alot of vehicles look like shit now a days, with that straight one piece driver focused setup. where you have the infotainment that stretches, to the gauge cluster. it looks tacky, and i notice alot of manufacturers copying that setup. no what GM needs to update, is better interior. all their seats look the same, between the Chevy line and GMC line. but that screen is fine, it don't need to be any different or bigger.
Just bought a fully fully loaded out 2021 At4. Had to special order it since they didn't have any on the lot. Figured since I had to wait 6-8 weeks for the damn thing anyway and had it custom built, I told them to check every single box on the order sheet. If I can't make the payments on it after the fact, it's going to have more power than the tow truck that would come to try and repo it. I figured I'd pull him around with it instead of the other way around.
Big fan of this design but the infotainment system needed to be upgraded, still resembled 2015/16/17 and up models, this would have made this a big hit
who cares, that ain't the problem with this truck. all these screens now a days, look like they tacked on, and others do that awful one piece setup. it was better when infotainment screens were 8 inches, and was in the center like it should be, rather than sitting on top of the dash, or having it angled towards the driver. there's other things they need to focus on to update, but the infotainment isn't one of them.
Great looking truck on the outside, drivetrain is great etc. They really got to bring it with the interior next year. Might have to switch to Ram if not.
Beautiful truck. However it's amazing to think how much a truck of this model and diesel costs these days. The average person has to refinance their house just to own one.
@@MrYellowClyde its a average interior with a 80k sticker 🤣🤣🤣🤣 why not grab a Cummins with the best interior and ive been waiting for 3 years for gm to change that ugly ass infotainment system so I can grab one guess I'm getting a mega cab Cummins
Not a big Duramax guy, but I do like what they did for the interior in 2020. Do you know if GM is doing that same thing this year that they did in the past, where they give back $6k or so for new models? My dad is in the market for a dually, and he heard from his cousin that they did some deal of that nature for 2018-19, and they'd give a discount on a new model if you traded it in the following year.
I wish GMC and chevy would really work on transmission issues , to buy a truck that is worth almost 100k its ridiculous to have issues at 60 k 70 k . Don't get me wrong I've own chevy and GMC my whole life and still do. But someone need to get off that chair and start looking at that . Just something to think about . Beautiful truck. And I know maybe not all trucks have it but one truck is one too many.
Denali is good if you got money to waste... they’ve got so many amenities that you don’t need in a truck. For regular people the SLE trim is really good. And only $63k not $80-90k like a Denali.
*63k based on gmc configurator and doesn’t include any rebates/incentives so you can definitely get some good deals out there for a diesel. For a gas version, you looking about 43-52k. But... with Covid and the shortage of trucks, your likely to pay close to Msrp these days. My sticker on my 20 GMC Sierra 3500Hd crew cab long bed with the 6.6 gas engine was $54k. I got it for $43k. Dealer is offering me more than purchase price to trade it in...
He's lying i was in one yesterday same ass shit....exterior is beautiful to bad I don't drive from the bed of the truck interior is same on a 50k truck...😡
Nice truck. However I’m most likely getting a Mercedes Sprinter van due to way better mpg unfortunately. And the V6 diesel has plenty of power for my needs
I bought one in December. It’s junk. I’m seriously thinking about trading it already. The ride is far too rough for a modern truck. Transmission sucks. It’s robbing power. Feels like you’ve got the brakes on. Sometimes it won’t even roll at idle. Mileage is 12 to 16. F-250 got 18 to 22 in similar conditions. At least this doesn’t have the death wobble. Infotainment system sucks. It goes black and disconnects 3 or 4 times a day. Plenty of other issues. It looks good, but that’s it.
I have a 2021 and the only difference I can see on the outside is you can get the optional retractable runningboards. And also now they have a black diamond option for about 3,000 dollars. But this option does include a lot of accessories. And the biggest thing on the inside is it now has wirelessApple CarPlay. And they added a couple camera views and tweak some of the others a little I believe. And they also added carpet floor mats that snap in on the floor liners as an option. And besides that, I am thankful to have my new truck but it was delivered without some of the options that I ordered from the factory. They will send them an install them whenever production gets up to speed. (No front chrome tow hooks, no body colored wheel arches, and no cargo net.
@@markhollingsworth9496 I almost pulled the trigger on a new 21 but it was missing the tow hooks, Wheel arch, and Aux trailer camera. The dealer told me the same, that they would come in a month and he would install them. Quickly went over to the parts guy and he had a nice chuckle about that delivery window. Arch mouldings for the tri-white are a "summer" at best delivery. Aux camera is spring 2021 if lucky and the tow hooks was a head-scratcher. Makes you think 2021 might not be the year to grab one of these 80k trucks if they cant get tow hooks figured out.........what else are they "not telling you". Not just GM but all big 3 seem to be scrambling for every truck off the line which makes sense, but good luck keeping quality up when your only concern is getting the vehicles out the door and worry about the rest later (Tesla model).
I’ll stick with the ranger cost to much if I we’re going to spend that much money I would buy me a old restored classic car . Besides to much technology for me . To much to break.
GMC needs to step up their game and put a bigger display on that entertainment system specially for the amount of money you pay for this truck!
So does ford
It’s plenty big you should be looking through the screen while driving anyway more the buttons the better
Shouldn’t
@@tippy8358 yeah true it’s plenty but it would’t hurt for a bigger screen remember we are talking about a luxury pick up truck cost pretty penny

It would outdo Ford, Ram & Toyota big time

Rebates usually are good in December of the model year, so 2021s probably won’t have rebates like that til next year
Whats the starting price for this baddie??? I never seen anything so beautiful before.
With diesel about $80K
Beautiful
Great looking truck, but they didn't update the infotainment. Like really? Even ford update theirs
