Great Stuff... Don't forget to mention just getting a transmitter and download a sim... I have helped a few people get into this hobby and told them to grind a sim before and then I let them fly one of my rigs.

Hi. Nice and good advice for sure. What kind/sort/brand or especially charger would you advice (can be couple of options). Thanks!

I'd first recommend getting something with at least two channels- just makes it easier to handle when you start getting a bunch of flight batteries. I've personally had good luck with the Hota D6 Pro charger. It's got good power output, solid construction, and two channels. I hear that most of the other Hota chargers are pretty decent as well!
I've only had one ISDT charger (the Air 8) and it was DOA- the screen was malfunctioning, so take that for what its worth. That being said I know a few friends that have had good luck with the Q6 nano. Only problem with that one is the low-ish power output and only one channel. I see it more as an "on the go" charger, maybe something you keep in your bag or car when you're out flying.

Good notions put forth - I've wasted thousands, myself. I'd suggest iCharger DX8.... Oh, and it would be nice if more people flew and promoted competition to DJI - they have plans to capture the ENTIRE drone and related tech market for commercial and municipal governments and to integrate everything. They already have prototype systems that they're pitching to cities and PDs, etc, that enable complete control and surveillance of any drone enabled with the tech - this will be built into future air-units, if it isn't already. We have to reward viable alternatives while we still can. DJI is now actively blackballing caddex out of the BNF market, so they need all the support they can get. I'm not commenting on the morality of any of these companies - they're all pretty nasty - just trying to prolong the inevitable while we stock up on "uncompromised" tech.
    Cheers -

Thanks for watching and leaving the thoughtful comment! IMO, DJI O3 is the best all around system out right now- and I don't think its particularly close. Things like walksnail and hdzero are promising, but they've got some work to do if they want to take over the market. I think as those (and hopefully other) systems develop further and are able to challenge DJI, they'll take over naturally. Let's hope so at least 😂

@@propabilityfpv I guess you missed the part about needing to be pro-active in order to stymie the juggernaut that's out enable our Great Benefactors and squelch us...
Oh, well - the world's ending, anyway. Better luck next time.

I personally have had great luck with the HOTA D6 Pro, and I can't recommend it enough. You can power it on AC and get up to 200W, DC for up to 650W, and it has two channels. It pretty much does everything you'd ever want, and its priced well. Hope that helps, thanks for watching! 😃

I like your content, but as a new person, I disagree. I don't yet know if I'll like this hobby. $250 for a kit with all required parts lets me know that, and lets me get started. Also, that might be all I ever need if I just play around from time to time. So for me, this might actually cost me a lot less than buying the best right away. Also, I don't yet know if I'll prefer racing, doing tricks, or taking cinematic videos. I need to tey it first.
I expect if I love it, I'll spend $1500 or so on better equipment. That is 6x the cost of the starter kit. "Wasting" only 1/7 of my total investment doesn't seem bad if it means the other 6/7 is informed. And again, if I don't like it after a few months, I haven't wasted the other $1250.
I make this comment to 1. Boost the RUclips algo for you (great vids!) And 2. to help keep others out of analysis paralysis on purchasing.

Thanks for watching! So just to clarify what I'm trying to get across- this video is talking about how to prioritize your spending in the most cost effective way when you're building/upgrading a drone. The point of it is to direct people away from spending hundreds of dollars on designer motors and batteries, and redirect them towards the gear that will have a bigger long term impact on their happiness in the hobby. Sorry if that wasn't clear!
