Dw mine gies past the hole to .had to change my inner tie road today (new comtrol arms the other day to) all seems ok as you siggest its not going anywhere

You could have turned the inner rod to level it up rather than turning the track rod end back half a turn , which will result in the vehicle having to get the tracking checked
