This morning i did this routine for the first time, a lot of sweat , heavy breathing after doing the very hard exercises , so i had to push the pause button to get my breath back . no problem , i am nearly 63 , my spine is in the breast area stiffened thru morbus bechterew , i will go on doing your workouts and like to say : ''Thank you for your great work and time ..... ''🙂✌
I have been teaching fitness for over 30 years. You name it, I taught it EXCEPT this kind of work which is not only fantastic but absolutely essential! I am a fan and thank you.
Wow! Thanks for sharing. Excited for someone who is so experienced to give this stuff a go. Keep me posted on how primal integrates with your practice!
thank you! did bikram hot yoga for several decades. got inured and loss my muscle mass. at 61 yrs old, although still limber, could not get into the poses long enough to build up my strength. cannot stand just “sit ups” etc. this works for me and its FUN! i found myself laughing, having fun, while still focused, not taking my workout so super seriously and enjoying myself.
Thanks from Las Vegas 5.11.24 my first time doing a primal work out with you & it was intense, modifiable, and I am learning to make it fun. following along at a pace that works for me while smiling, making the segments into a game, and challenging myself to think/speak self-supportive (or self-humorous) thoughts throughout the session doing my best & forgetting the rest. 😊❤🎉
Just finished this one 💪 and it's challenging! This will be incorporated in my workout. ❤ thank you for keeping it simple and effective, these follow alongs are wonderful!
Es mi 1er rutina y logré realizarla toda, algunos ejercicios a mi ritmo pero la hice toda!!! Estoy orgullosa de mi ❤❤❤ y me siento fantástica, fuerte, poderosa. Mil gracias 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Perfect. Thank you. I wasn’t in the mood for a run, and I just didn’t have time to go to the gym. This was a perfect routine to invigorate me this evening.
Great video thank you! You are the perfect bodyweight and body mass. It was funny because years ago I had a job that was very laborious. Though because my body type I wasn’t very muscular. But one day I took my Jim muscle buddy to go work with me for Feng and he could not handle 1/3 of the Effort it took to do what I did. I think functional strength is so much more important for longevity and health. Fluffy gym mass.
Excellent addition to the channel! Well done presentation style and I especially liked the relaxed positive guidance with the dialog Thank you for rounding out my physical practices with something old and new!
this is my 2nd week. Today the exercise seems to be easier than last week. I think my body is getting used to it. that's quite fast and motivates me to continue.😅 thanks
Just found this and although I already do much of this work, some things , like the monkey and cat crawl are different! I will add these and see how it goes! Wrist issues; female and nearly 70.
This was W O W. Thanks for sharing health and a different kind of training. My shoulders and knees are very grateful as well! I'm sharing with some friends that I know will love this too. Thanks again!
I was first introduced to this kind of workout through a Beachbody Amolia Caesar's chop wood carry water program. I've been looking for a while since I stopped doing Beachbody for a similar program to that. I was sweating
Very intelligently sequenced. I particularly appreciate the prepping of the shoulders which I'm prone to injuring, oh and that hand forward curving push up, and not forgetting the crab lean over with leg extended, and then there was the....ok, it was all great, thanks!
Merci beaucoup( de France) pour cette routine que je pratique régulièrement en alternance avec un entraînement plus classique , vous pouvez nous en publier d’autres 👏👏👏🙏
great workout. I messed up my back last month, let it alone a while, and started adding back in mobility and now your primal movement videos. I appreciate the variety and the combination of strength and mobility. Your explanations are really helpful -- the first video i tried was another channel with no explanations, which was really frustrating for a beginner like me. Thanks for the workout! You mention a free foundations video link in the notes, but what i see is a 5day membership trial and two paid workout programs. Is the link elsewhere?
Hey thanks for your patience on the reply...So glad you had a good experience with this smoov workout. I'm doing some rearranging on website stuff right now but heres the link to the free program. Apologies for the confusion www.somble.com/smoov/programs/primal-foundations-free-101pj
Sensational workout! Watched, then did! Whoa! Love everything about it! I want him to be my personal trainer... yesterday. His instruction is clear and concise, he is working hard, but making it look doable and even the tuners are on point and appropriate! Liked an subscribed right away! So excited to have found this! I'm all in!!!
have been doing quite a bit of mobility for last year with a bit of primal thrown in but not solely focused on -I managed but those under crab/cat movements need alot of work still -thanks
Great workout. Would love to see more of that type (strength, duration, maybe even longer). I would also LOVE a tutorial of his to follow... By that I mean how to connect the movements into a flowing form. I stutter at best 😂
This is great! Gonna do this on my rest day, btw lifting days😅 Also, I plan on doing the 1st part of this session as my warm-up before my lifting session.😃
Well, I sort of expected the last round of pushups will be undoable for me, so I was nicely surprised that I managed 3 before dropping on my knees.🎉 What I did not expect was how hard the bloody arm circles in the beginning were going to be, they nearly knocked me out - which only means I must do them more often. Great workout, especially for arms and upper body (and core, of course) - just what I need. Thank you so much!👍🏻🙂🫶
The practice/discipline is called primal movement! And absolutely influenced by pilates and yoga. It's a combination of things, all circling back to primal and developmental patterns of movement in humans. Excellent foundation for bodyweight movement AND developing connection/coordination for strength and athletics.
@@smoovmoves thank you, I did these exercises I am a beginner and the coordination is difficult. We must not get mixed up.😀. Can we start at 56 years old? that's what I do... MERCI POUR VOTRE GÉNÉROSITÉ Je trouve cela excellent
@@smoovmoves thanks at 65 these exercises are just what I need. I'm not good at the crab crossover to the cat or crab kicks...it will come tho.....thanks keep up the good work.
Done for First time now. Wow, what a great workout!! Im make two workouts from you and both are great ! I Hope you continue! You have definitely a new subscriber.💪

This is it! Glad this session resonates with you. The focus and the fun is 🔑
I love it, i am old, so i do it slowly but surely! Thank you... From france
I'm old too! Right on! (From USA)
Love it 👍 Not too long not too short, not too fast so I can focused on my posture, not just on strength but also mobility. Thank you!

These movements look simple, but it doesn't mean they're not effective. Looking at this guy is the best motivation to start trying.
The best primal movement routines I have found on youtube. Thankyou
