The constraints on developing some of these old games turned them into diamonds. Most of my PS3 & 4 games are too overwhelming. I just quit Elden Ring 40+ hrs deep after the realization that I'm largely wandering around an empty landscape finding worthless items. Even games I loved like Red Dead 2 - I'd get lost on these tangents and never finished the main story. Maybe the problem is that I'm not a teenager with time to kill anymore, but instead hoping for time to stretch longer b/c I got work tomorrow.
Red Dead 2 is really slow I've had that game for 2 years and still haven't beat it bc I get bored and start playing another game. It is freaking hilarious at times. I have never laughed so hard at a game.
@@GamingOffTheGrid I'm playing Grandia 1 remake on my switch now. Its almost as good as Grandia 2 and a lot of fun. Games were a lot better then, no DLC or micro transactions.
@@GamingOffTheGrid You gotta give Megaman Legends a go! Brave Fencer Musashi, Front Misson 3, or Tomba 2 are also excellent. I've replayed these many times and think they hold up pretty well. Especially Megaman Legends 2.
I grew up in the ps3/360/Wii era and I have to strongly disagree with the PlayStation 1 not holding up to todays standards. FF 7,8,9, RE 2,3, Dino crisis, metal gear solid, chrono cross, ape escape, and so many more. I find the character models, voice acting, and the pre rendered graphics so charming. They feel more like a art choice now than a constraint. While games today all feel the same and never try anything new, the ps1 was the definition of a experimental console.
Fair but there's also a lot of people that won't even look at a game if it's not running at 150fps in 4k with the newest most advanced tech possible. The same people that look at a pixelated game and scoff.
@@TXFDAAre there really people like that out there though? I feel like people don’t judge games based on graphics anymore. Someone on a crazy high end PC will still play TF2, CS:GO. At the same time, people on all platforms all love Minecraft, shaders or not. Even Skyrim! I think people understand that it’s part of the charm nowadays. Even game like undertale are modern classics. Maybe it was like that in 2010, but I feel like most people have moved on now.
@@gabrielrodriguez6936 there's DEFINITELY people like that, I know some. Won't even look at a game if it doesn't look good enough graphically, or refuses to touch a game that's running at 30fps.
The PS1 Saturn and N64 era is my favorite era of Gaming but I do recognize that it is a "you had to be there" era that you will love more if you were there. If you're a young kid trying to go back, they have not aged very well it's probably the generation of gaming that has aged the worst of all of them but there are some gems in there and there's still some games that hold up. Great vid guys!
For sure! I remember being so excited back in the day during these times! Most pumped of all my gaming! But goinf back some is great and some of it is tough to bare! Cheers!
I think the best part of the 5th generation was watching this massive transition take place in front of us. Everyone was playing 2D platformers when suddenly the entire industry went 3D. That extra horse power allowed for new things to be done that none of us had ever seen… but that also meant that developers were fumbling around for most of the generation. You need not look further than to go back to Mario 64 and that horrible camera. I have great memories of that console generation too but I rarely go back. The games are just too rough. Now SNES games, those have lasted the test of time. I do think people give a little too much credit to the 6th generation. I like a lot of those games still but people act like video games peaked with the Gamecube/PS2/Xbox. I personally think that’s silly. Many games that came after that generation have bested those efforts by a long shot. I tried going back to GTA3 and, boy, has that game not aged well.
DUDE! I am so happy to see Loaded get some love. No joke, Loaded, FF7, and Worms were the reason I bought a PS1. I had an N64 but it just didn’t have those types of games. Of course, the PS1 ended up having a massive library but Loaded was one of the ones that hooked me. Sadly, no one thought it was as cool as me. Love the taste bros.
So funny you mention Loaded. We love it too. A few comments after this one from you another person was saying it's garbage LOL! They don't get it. It's a true co-op gem. Cheers!
@@BrendoDynomite Oh yeah. My friends and me played Worms ALL the time in high school. Specifically, Worms Armageddon. We literally put like a 1000 hours into that game. One of the highlights of my youth.
This by far is probably on my favorite episode from you fellas. All of these are incredible classics, from Castlevania to MGS, also let’s not forget one of the greatest you mentioned in the honorable category (Parasite Eve)! Some other favorites for me that were not included are: Tomba 1&2, Incredible Crisis, Fear Effect 1&2, Final Fantasy IX, Resident Evil 2, Brave Fencer Musashi, Bushido Blade 1&2, Nightmare Creatures, and I’m gonna just put the brakes on here because there are so many more gems in this generation of gaming. Glad you guys are still rocking with PS1!
Here’s my favorite PS1 games: Armored Core / AC Project Phantasma / AC Master of Arena, Mega Man Legends / 2 / Misadventures of Tron Bonne, Legend of Mana, Kartia: Word of Fate, Bomberman Fantasy Race, Chocobo Racing, Silhouette Mirage, G Darius, Tactics Ogre, Pocket Fighter I feel like that’s a pretty weird list but I loved those games as a kid, and still do now. I think they’re all still worth checking out
Always appreciate that you don't shy away from including sports games on your lists. Excellent list of 10 games, and can't find fault with any of them. Only things I'd have put on the list, but who knows what I'd swap out, would be FF Tactics, Tomba!, Um Jammer Lammy, and Hot Shots Golf 2. Awesome work as always, gents!
So glad to see someone mention Tomba! It was a game I played in my formative years and I admit I spent way too much to replace the copy that I must have sold back when that was the thing to do. But it totally holds up even today!
5. Bust-A-Groove 2 4. Parasite Eve 3. Destruction Derby 2 2. Resident Evil 2 1. Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen Oh and I dare anyone to take on Dragon Warrior 7 and Tactics Ogre (with Hell Gate). Say goodbye to your life.
We need to check out the Bust A Groove Franchise! The others are all good games! We havent played the last two games you mentioned! We will have to look into it! Cheers!
Blood Omen: Legacy Of Kain, Twisted Metal 2, Critical Depth, Tenchu: Stealth Assassins, Deathtrap Dungeon, Classic Tomb Raider Games, Final Fantasy Tactics, Xenogears Are Some Of The Games I Still Play On PS1.
I just started playing Vagrant Story. One of the best games I ever played. Little bit of a learning curve but real fun once you get past the first few bosses
I got my PS1 at a garage sale last year for $10. Turns out it was modded, and came with a cd case of games to play. so I've been able to play some very expensive games for $10 on original hardware. It's pretty neat.
I loved the PS1. Ape Escape, Jet Moto. SotN. Twisted Metal, Spyro.. but I actually spent hundreds of hours on Monster Rancher 1-2. Collecting CDS, keeping notebooks on the monsters, fighting them, when a monster passed I actually got sad. Plus PS had super cheap games. You could buy a game for $2. If it sucked, you had at least trading currency.
I started collecting PS1 Games late last year. I play them on my PS2. If you're looking for a Boxing game, Contender 2 is a fun arcade style with colorful characters.
Great list! There are some PS1 games that I've recently played that, in my opinion, still hold up. Syphon Filter, Medal of Honor, Crash Bandicoot Warped, and NBA Showtime are some of my favorites by today's standards. Every now and then I'll fire up Tony Hawk on the PS1 just for nostalgia sake, but I think the PS2 Tony Hawk games are a better when it comes to the controls.
It's been ten years since I played through Medal of Honor and even back then it required some effort to get used to the outdated control scheme but 100% worth it.
Going back to play PSOne games you have to give yourself time to adjust to the graphics but after 30mins or so I find I'm right back in the zone just like I'm back in the 90's. Resident Evil 1,2,3 - Dino Crisis 1&2 - Silent Hill, Final Fantasy 7 - Syphon Filter 1,2,3 - Metal Gear Solid, Driver 1 & 2. Some of my favourite games ever. The PlayStation felt like it was the first console that appealed to adults as well as kids. The 3D element changed what games could be and made them bigger and better. The PS2 is probably my all time favourite console because of the games library but original PlayStation is a very close second.
I like seeing these personal favorite lists. It's easy to fill a Top 10 list with Squaresoft games and other typical big name titles like Metal Gear Solid, Twisted Metal II, and Resident Evil, so seeing the love for lesser known titles interests me quite a bit. I happen to have a love for the Gradius style shooters as well, so your list was nice to see. You're right about not having the time for PS1 RPGs, because there were a ton of great RPGs being pumped out for the PS1. Loaded looks cool. There are some games that I only played very little of but have still stuck in my memory, such as Spyro, and The Phantom Menace.
Loaded was a fun game. Never owned it myself, but I would play it at a friends’ house, before I had a PS1 of my own. If you like Gradius/R-Type scrolling shooters, I’d recommend Einhander for PS1. It was Squaresoft’s attempt at the genre, and I’d say they did a pretty good job 👍
PS1 allowed me to play Duke Nukem when I was the only kid on the block that didnt have a PC... It was more than 20 years ago, and I ll never forget the day I saw Duke Nukem for PS1 for sale, the happiest day ever (for a kid). Good memories.
Fun fact about the physical version of Strider 2: They messed up on the discs when they printed them, and they put Strider 2 on the Strider 1 disc and vice versa. It affects all copies of Strider 2 to my knowledge!
The 3 I've been playing in 2023 are: 1. Nanotek Warrior (a unique 2.5D shooter where jumping is also integrated) 2. Fear Effect (really interesting narrative/action game with cel-shaded graphic so it "holds up" better, compiled over 4 discs. It plays with the action from dino crisis, puzzles and such from Resident Evil, and a bit of stealth from Splintercell for good measure). 3. Philosoma (It has its flaws but it has so much going for it with 4 styles of shooters in one and epic cutscenes that are a blend of "impressive for its time" and "so bad its good B movie.") * Honorable mention is one of my annual games I beat - Ray Tracers: Arcade racer where you crash into your opponents as you go through each course, each ending with a fun and difficult boss battle!
Dude, I put so many f'n hours into GT2 back in the day. Was one of the first games I got on PS1 when I finally was able to get the console. Haven't played it in years though. I might still have my save file :). Cheers!
@@vesperf3830 haha yeah that's hilarious. I've done that with my friend too. Then try to circle back for a one-hit kill while running like two chickens with their heads off jousting. We also did a tag thing like that in wave race. Try to chase down the other player and knock them off the boat. For Driver 1, I love the survival mini-game where 8 OP cops try to ram you to death. San Francisco is the best because with the hills, the cops will constantly fly over your head while chasing you causing insane crashes. Bushido Blade has a cool challenge where you have to try to beat 100 guys in a row (kind of like the Joker challenge in Fighters Destiny). And Dino Crisis 2 just has cool atmosphere and story. A bit like Turok 2, but more mysterious. The combo point system is cool too because the points work as cash so it's a real incentive.
Star Ocean, Legend of Dragon, Legaia, Digimon world 3, and many more RPGs that still vivid in my memories when we play (together with children around my fav PS Renter)
I play my PS1 games on my PS2. Some of the games I still play are Resident Evil Director's Cut, RE2, Driver, Point Blank 1,2,3; Crash Bandicoot Team Racing, Crash Bandicoot 3 and Project Horned Owl. Loved the video, thank you for all you do. Cheers.
The resident evil trilogy will always be in my top. Along with the need for speed series, the twisted metal series. Of course driver 1 and 2, test drive 5 and 6, Gran Turismo 1 and 2, Tenchu, Tecken 1-3. Of course it’ll be different for everyone.
For sure glad you understand that everyones list will be different! We hear alot of why this game not that game! Granted this isnt a top 10 but everyone enjoys different games! Cheers!
I've been collecting the ps1 long boxes games recently, grabbing up some bangers. Og tekken, loaded and street fighter alpha to name a few. Awesome pics guys!
Diver 2 is a great example. Graphics do not hold up. Runs sort of choppy. but wow the game play , level design. story. cut scenes. and hard to beat. Maybe nostalgia for me but Driver 2 is for sure in my top 5 of all time. Just replayed it again last year. I don't think they can recreate what this game was today. and yes you are right. GTA 3 immediately triumphs. but I still play it more than GTA 3
Nice one! Racing games are what I love most about PS1... many classics and still affordable to this day, some of my favourites are Ridge Racer Type 4, Moto Racer 2, Rapid Racer, Gran Turismo 2, the three Wipeout games, Rollcage, Test Drive 4, uhhh....and there's a lot of Rally and Formula 1 games out there, but I suck at those!! It's funny and a little sad how Formula 1 is always amongst the cheapest game on ANY console. Some people must like it though I guess?
One I find myself coming back to time and time again is Digimon World. The first one. It's still crazy to think that nobody has really replicated DW1's formula, save for Bandai Namco themselves making two games afterwards, those being the Japan-exclusive Re:Digitize (and its 3DS port Decode, also Japan-exclusive), and the internationally released (and soon coming to steam and switch) Next 0rder.
Spyro the Dragon, Crash Bandicoot Warped, Soul Reaver, Tomb Raider 2, Ape Escape and Medievil are just a few PS1 classics that I still play to this day
Everyone needs to play Medievil on their PS1. It's not the best ever game made for the console, but it has a compelling story, a creative fantasy setting, an exquisite art style that draws inspiration from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and witty humour that really contrasts well with its dark setting
Me too. Been playing it for the first time in the last couple of weeks. Absolute 10/10 stone cold classic. The atmosphere, design, and music are mindblowingly good. It really shows how style and aesthetic can trump technical prowess and fidelity
Glad you picked this topic. I'm currently playing Darkstone (using my PS3): a Delphine Studios masterpiece that was ahead of its time. Two other games that I've found well worth revisiting are Armored Core and Robo Pit - the latter an early robot battler title with extraordinary customization. -------- I wish we had a remake of Elemental Gearbolt for modern systems.
So glad Driver 2 got a mention at the end, my 8 year old mind was blown away back in 2000 when it came out! One of the only games I literally couldn’t sleep Christmas Eve night knowing it was under the tree. A game that taught me patience especially with missions like the mountainside chase in Rio towards the end. I still go back and beat those first two Driver games at least every couple years! Loaded looks like an awesome time and so does Strider 2, never heard of either which is why I love these videos!
Yeah i was the Same About Driver 2! Doesnt get the recognition it deserves for starting a popular style of gaming! Those two games are awesome! Cheers!
You guys always come out with a video at the right moment for me. I just got a fully backwards compatible PS3 (CECHA1) and I’m only just getting into PS1 games. I recently got Einhander and need more. Great video as always!
Parasite Eve and Parasite Eve II are favorites of mine. I love the PS1, I am constantly playing the original Resident Evil games, also love DOOM on PS1. You guys should try Diablo on the PS1, it has two player coop which is unique to the Playstation version of the game.
Still haven't ever played the second one. It's on the bucket list though for sure. Gonna have to give Diablo a try one of these days. Hope all is well man. Cheers!
I really wish I could play PE2, but.... the "tank controls" make that utterly impossible. I can't play it for more than a few minutes before I get utterly frustrated with the control scheme. For those who don't know, normally when you press left, your character moves left. When you press right, your character moves right. But with tank controls, left and right make your character _turn_ and up makes your character walk in the direction they are facing. Same thing that killed Jade Cocoon for me. I really wanted to like that game too, it was an early Pokemon style game with a few small twists, but I could never get far in it because of the awful tank control style walking. It is God Awful Slow and feels horrible.
Mine are Area 51, Maximum Force, Time Crisis, Crypt Killer, Gunfighter Legend of Jesse James, Die Hard Trilogy, and of course still playthrough original Resident Evil trilogy yearly.
Recently rebuilt my ps1, and also, my ps classic. Been playing soul reaver 1... Absolutely one of the best voice acting and story in video games ever. Worth checking out once you get used to the controls and camera angles... Seriously amazing
as much as I hate to admit it, you're right, 5th generation definitely has not aged the best. But there's just something about it for me. Especially the horror games from that era! Silent Hill is forever one of my favorite games, and theres also the Resident Evil games, Parasite Eve, Echo Night, and Koudelka, which later became Shadow Hearts. I love the ps1 so much, one of my favorite consoles. great picks though guys!! SOTN is easily my favorite Castlevania
I’m not playing ps1 titles a lot but recently I found myself playing more namco titles. Few months ago I watched a 3 hours video of every namco title in the ps1 (from sean seanson) and damn I started to appreciate namco much more that they became my favorite 3rd party publisher. Yeah I’ve played tekken 3, soulblade, time crisis and klonoa before but there are a lot of great ps1 titles from namco that’s i liked and nobody talk about like dragon valor, pac-man world, ghoul panic (this one you guys gonna love because it’s point blank with 3d graphics), xevious 3d/g and much more I can find myself enjoying ps1 titles especially titles that’s sony published but those namco titles are some of the best games I’ve played on the console.
We looked into Ghoul Panic a while back. If memory serves me correctly I don't believe it got a US release. Could be wrong on that but I know there was a reason we didn't grab it. Cheers!
Great and unique list. I keep coming back to: 1. Ridge Racer Type 4 2. Metal Gear Solid 3. Front Mission 3 4. Vandal Hearts 5. Crash Team Racing 6. Gran Turismo (i like the first one most) 7. Xeno Gears
Fisherman's Bait 2 and 3 (the latter is known as Big ol'Bass 2) are fun to play and chill out with your friends. Its co-op World Monster Fishing mode is something you'd return to, from time to time. Just don't freak out if suddenly your split screen makes way for a dino.
Crash 3 | Tekken 3 | Crash Team Racing | WWF SmackDown 1&2 | twisted metal 4 | Gran Turismo 1&2 | Tony Hawk's pro skater 2 | Spiderman | Gex 3 | Spyro | NFS 3&4 | Shane Warne/Brian Lara cricket If this by any shot of imagination brought a smile and an invisible tear of joy to your face, then i tip my hat to you....because of you didnt have a happy childhood, atleast you had happy memories disconnecting from the world and playing these games
My personal favorite PS1 games are some of the 2D Japan imports that no one wanted at the time. I recommend you find a way to play: Harmful Park, The Adventure of Little Ralph, Gunners Heaven, Gradius Gaiden, Nekketsu Oyako (Hot Blooded Family) & Panzer Bandit. I love your mention of Gaia Seed.
I can't believe you guys didn't pick any of the games I'd played for days at a time. Here are just a few I can think of right off the top of my head,: Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9 , Legend of Legaia, Driver 1 & 2, Lunar Silver Star Story Complete, Silent Hill, Resident Evil 2 and 3 ...
Great list! Personally, FF7 & 8, THPS 1-2, Gran Turismo 2, Syphon Filter. Two games that I played more than most though were Jonah Lomu Rugby and Shane Warnes Cricket. Probably never heard of them outside of NZ, Australia and the UK!
Final Fantasy 7 is fantastic. Still play it to this day! I know it’s hard to boil down all the great games into a list of 10, but FF7 not being on the list is a crime!
Bushido Blade is still one of the greatest games i’ve ever played and there hasn’t really been anything like it since. You guys should check that one out if you’ve never played it. So simple but the replay value is so high.
We have actually played it last year for the first time! Great game! If we made this last year it be on here just not currently playing it but probably will revisit soon! Cheers!
I always loved this game. So fun! X-Com: UFO Defense is fantastic. The AI on that was groundbreaking. If someone said they got PTSD from that game, I’d believe them. So much stress from stopping terror raids on cities and assaulting alien bases.
I played Star Wars Jedi Power Battles with my dad over and over and over again as a kid. It was amazing at the time. I tried playing it again last year and it didn't feel that good to play anymore though lol
@@GamingOffTheGrid I actually prefer the look of the PS1 version from the footage that I saw of the Dreamcast version. There is a charm to the PS1 visuals.
11:35 I should have bought Power Battles instead of the ridiculously absurd Phantom Menace game based on the movie. What was I thinking? The force was definitely not with me when I made that decision 🤣
I like your guys's video format style. Nice to hear about some of these titles, like Gaia Seed and R-Type Delta. They look fun! I agree: 5th gen is a little hard to go back to bc it was such an experimental gen full of growing pains. So all the nicer to find good games that we may have looked over!
1-4)Final Fantasy 7,8,9 and tactics. 5)Metal Gear Solid 6) Tony Hawk 7) Tekken 3 8) X-Men vs. Street fighter 9) the Spyro the Dragon series 10) Street Fighter Alpha 3 11)Loaded 12-14) Tomb Raider 1-3 15) Castlevania Symphony of the Night 16-17) WWF Smackdown 1 and 2 That's all I can think of offhand
That is a great list and I love shooters but Philosoma still holds a place in my heart. I loved how they combined multiple angles and didn’t just stick to side scrolling. And the story and sounds were top notch.
Watching this video is making me realize that some of my PS1 games are missing, along with the original system. I kept a selection of about 13 games (FF 7 & 8, FF Tactics, Crash 1 & 2, Parasite Eve, Suikoden, Wipeout XL, SuperBomberman World, Madden 97 & 98, Syndicate Wars…). I should have Twisted Metal 1 & 2, Metal Gear Solid, Street Fighter Alpha, and Symphony of the Night. Now I have to go digging through more boxes…
You guys bring awesome content and light to retro PlayStation games and consoles. Absolutely love the early PlayStation generation consoles more then other in my opinion. Huge libraries and tons of awesome titles.
I still regularly play my PS1. Usually Spyro the Dragon. Most of my first gaming was with the original Spyro trilogy. I played CTR with my brother while we would eat Bagel Bites so much. Good times.
There's only a small handful of 3D games from the Playstation generation that have stood the test of time. Tekken 3 is the only one I can really think of right now
@@mountainmgtow5421 that's a pretty hot take. A very wrong take, but still hot as hell. Tekken 3 is far superior to Tekken 2 in every single aspect of gaming.
@@mountainmgtow5421 I respect yours too. Tekken 2 is a phenomenal game and it's when Tekken started to find their groove. I would pick Bruce every time I played in the arcade.
Man loaded is giving me serious awesome memories. I remember my cousin and I would take the game out and put the Puff Daddy Victory cd in while playing. Just shooting everything up while that song is playing. The nostalgia.
Bloody Roar I and II, Starfighter Sanvein, Nanotek Warrior, Assault: Retribution, Top Shop, and All-Star Slammin' D-ball are some of the PS1 games I am digging right now.
The Playstation original has a ton of great JRPGs with FF7 helping to popularize the genre. It also helped popularize survival horror with Resident Evil and the Stealth genre with Metal Gear Solid. Because of that I have a deep love for the console, though SNES is still my all time favorite.
Tenchu. That's a ninja game most people miss. None has come even close to that franchise. It's like Metal Gear solid and soul like games. One cannot go head straight to any enemies on battle to battle contact. It's base on stealth, patience and luck. People were hoping Nioh and Ghost of Tsushima have elements of Tenchu but not quite successful in it's attempt. Tenchu almost come out the same time of Metal Gear Solid. Mastering is quite difficult.
Obviously I like to name every jrpg ever released in north America like FF/Squaresoft. JET MOTTO 2!, Tony hawk, MGS, resident evil, crash bandicoot warped, tekken... Great list dudes. Definitely going to check some of these out.
Great video!!!! I haven’t played my PS1 games (or any PS1 game), but here are the following games that I love: Mortal Kombat Trilogy Tekken 1-3 Ridge Racer Revolution Project Horned Owl Revolution X College Slam NBA Jam Tournament Edition NHL 2-on-2 Open Ice Challenge Crash Bandicoot 1-3 Road Rash NBA Live 97-2001 Madden NFL 99 WWF WrestleMania - The Arcade Game NFL Blitz OG …And many more. I also have a PS3 and a PS2, but for some reason, I prefer playing on Original PS1 hardware
my fiancee & i are re building our ps1 collection ,some of the games we have that we love are a mix (of hers and mine ) are area 51, crash bandicoot 2: cortex strikes back, daarkstalkers 3 , darkstalkers : night warriors, Final fantasy tactics , harvest moon: back to nature, jet moto 2 , maximum force , mortal kombat trilogy, pac-man world 20th anniversary , ready 2 rumble boxing: round 2, tekken , and tony hawk's pro skater 3 , we have a few other smaller titles but those are our main favorites that we have currently
PS1 Games in recent years that iv played..... Most frequent Street Fighter Alpha 3 Then Command and Conquer Red Alert I played FF7 last year after almost a 20 year gap, that hit me in the feels.
The year is 1998 and I was working at Kmart in my town. Kmart put money into their stores remodeling. One of my co-workers told me,"Do You Game"? I said YES and said he can get me some for a price. I gave homeboy a list and that night...I'm playing Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Tekken 3, and Einhander I STILL HAVE THESE BEAUTIES
I missed out on the PS1 era because of limited money and time while I was in college. I finally was able to give many of these games a shot starting in 2013 when I got a PS3. The PS1 catalog is vast and many of them are rough around the edges but there have been some absolute gems I wish I had a chance to play back in the day. Spyro comes to mind but Symphony of the Night even moreso. That game spent 15 years building up hype in my head and still exceeded expectations. Going to have to try some of the others on this list. Never really played a Metal Gear Solid game
Completely agree some look rough but the story telling and way they were made was what made them so good! Hope you get a chance to play a MGS game! They are a blast! Cheers!
Yes, I fire it up around every Christmas-St. Patrick’s Day. This year, however, is special, because I have received Syphon Filter. So, now I’m playing the entire trilogy.
Last comment was spot on. It’s hard to play RPGs with a full time life going on around you. I loved the shout out to NFL Blitz. Before online gaming, it was sports games and fighters that were super competitive. The early Madden games on the Genesis and Winning Eleven series were always on rotation with me and my friends.
Some of the ps1 games I still play Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1&2 Final Fantasy 7&9 Spyro The Dragon Trillogy Crash Bandicoot Trillogy Crash Team Racing Resident Evil 1-3 Dino Crisis Jet Moto 2&3 Cool Boarders 3 Tekken 3 SOTN Gran Turismo 2 Mega Man Legends 1&2 While I agree that this generation hasn't aged entirely well, there are still so many great games from this generation.
The last time I had a PS1 was in 2015 with Tony hawk . I been going back to my psp playing the PS1 classics silent hill and metal gear solid . Thanks for the upload
Nice! Don't have that many on our PS1 Mini but we have quite a few and a pretty solid physical collection as well. Thanks for watching & Cheers to the PS1!
X-Com:UFO Defense will always be my favorite PS1/2 game. My blood pressure is already rising with just the thought of stopping an alien terror raid on a city at night.
@@GamingOffTheGrid You've never heard of X-Com: UFO Defense??? What? You have to build bases around Earth to fend off alien incursions. It is a strategic/tactical game. Build your bases to detect UFO activity. Send your planes to get shot down, I mean shoot down UFO's, then send in your squad to salvage the craft and capture any aliens. You can research and engineer alien weapons and tech. Aliens can mind control your troops or make them panic, or if your commander gets killed then your troops may panic on their own.
Nice list. I still play Oddworld Abes Oddysee and Oddworld Abes Exoddus from beginning to end atleast once a year. They still remain my favorite games.
I think that the PS1 has aged very well and has many fantastic games. Games like Gensou Suikodens I and II, Mega Man: Legends 1 and 2, Mega Man X4, 5 and 6, Final Fantasys VII, VIII and IX, Street Fighter Alphas 1, 2 and 3, Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha and Street Fighter EX 2, Vandal Hearts, Metal Gear Solid, Guardian's Crusade, Crash Team Racing, Mega Man: Battle & Chase, Mega Man 8, Ridge Racer, Ridge Racer Revolution, Monster Rancher 2, Digimon World, Legend of Legaia, Wild Arms, Soul Blade, X-Men vs Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcom, Grandia and many more are great to play.
Agree there is a good chunk of games that still look great and some that didnt age well! PS1 was a hammer back in the day! Playstation started the dynasty well! Cheers!
Yeah this was more toward the end of pick up and play games! Alot more open world games came along! Cheers!
Sadly i can relate 😊
invasions in elden ring is dog shit compared to dark souls 3
You must've not have wandered enough or to the right spots my guy lol
Red Dead 2 is really slow I've had that game for 2 years and still haven't beat it bc I get bored and start playing another game. It is freaking hilarious at times. I have never laughed so hard at a game.
I often replay the first 2 Tony Hawk games and all 5 of the PS1 Crash Bandicoot games. So many memories of playing them as a kid.
THPS 1 & 2 are great anyway you can play them. Classics for sure. Cheers!
The game no 9 Loaded is looks terrible Nowdays but back in 1996 when my friend bought i was blown to see the graphics.
@@GamingOffTheGrid
I'm playing Grandia 1 remake on my switch now. Its almost as good as Grandia 2 and a lot of fun. Games were a lot better then, no DLC or micro transactions.
I was amazed that not one of the games from the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy was mentioned. All were amazing
FF7, MGS, and THPS are hands-down my top-tier PS1 games of all time. Nostalgia for the rest of my life. What a great time.
Put in tons of time FF7 back in the day! MGS is Wes favorite series and THPS is Roberts favorite series! Love them to death! Cheers!
@@TXFDA so they don’t play Minecraft cause it’s pixelated? They don’t play bloodborne cause it’s 30fps?
@@gabrielrodriguez6936 Yes. Exactly. And believe me, I totally get how ridiculous that is. There's no changing their mind.
Cheers!
no
90s was a freakin decade I mean early 90s is full of
2D games and late 90s is full of 3d games 😅.
Mine too, though I didn't have a Saturn. Best gen to date.
Cheers!
Bro my brother and neighbors used to have sleep overs and play worms literally all night!! Such an underrated series
@@BrendoDynomite Oh yeah. My friends and me played Worms ALL the time in high school. Specifically, Worms Armageddon. We literally put like a 1000 hours into that game.
One of the highlights of my youth.
Worms!
So many great games for the PS1 and many we havent tried including some on your list which we will check out! Cheers!
Holy smokes I had forgotten about nightmare creatures and how amazing it was and that sound track with Rob Zombie if not wrong.
Here’s my favorite PS1 games: Armored Core / AC Project Phantasma / AC Master of Arena,
Mega Man Legends / 2 / Misadventures of Tron Bonne,
Legend of Mana,
Kartia: Word of Fate,
Bomberman Fantasy Race,
Chocobo Racing,
Silhouette Mirage,
G Darius,
Tactics Ogre,
Pocket Fighter
I feel like that’s a pretty weird list but I loved those games as a kid, and still do now. I think they’re all still worth checking out
Nothing weird about it! Everyone should have a different list and taste in gaming! Cheers!
All great games you mentioned just havent gotten around to them in the last year! Cheers!
So glad to see someone mention Tomba! It was a game I played in my formative years and I admit I spent way too much to replace the copy that I must have sold back when that was the thing to do. But it totally holds up even today!
5. Bust-A-Groove 2
4. Parasite Eve
3. Destruction Derby 2
2. Resident Evil 2
1. Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen
Oh and I dare anyone to take on Dragon Warrior 7 and Tactics Ogre (with Hell Gate). Say goodbye to your life.
We need to check out the Bust A Groove Franchise! The others are all good games! We havent played the last two games you mentioned! We will have to look into it! Cheers!
I’m playing Einhander the same way 😂 I played the demo of stage 1 repeatedly back in the day.
Boom! Gotta love the modded Mini :)
Great list of games! Cheers!
THANK YOU for including Einhander! That game was insanely underrated. None of my friends had it or had heard of it and it drove me nuts.
Its relatively new to us so we are sorta in that camp! Was recommended by someone a couple years ago! Its so much fun! Cheers!
I just started playing Vagrant Story. One of the best games I ever played. Little bit of a learning curve but real fun once you get past the first few bosses
We have been recommended this game quite a few times in the comments! We will have to give it a try! Cheers!
I got my PS1 at a garage sale last year for $10. Turns out it was modded, and came with a cd case of games to play. so I've been able to play some very expensive games for $10 on original hardware. It's pretty neat.
10 dollars for a modded PS1 is an absolute steal! Nice snag! Cheers!
does a modded ps1 has games already installed?
@Snaaake BBeater not the one that I got, you have to burn disc's for it.
It's so easy to play burned games on the PS1 - just get a gameshark.
Lots of bangers! We need to try out Monster Rancher! Cheers!
Tony Hawk 2, Ridge Racer Type 4, and Fifa RTWC 98 are some of my favorites
THPS 2 is fun on everything! Adore that game. Love what they did with the remake. Cheers!
same here Brandy. Played the crap out of Fifa 98 and RRT4 back in day. Tony Hawks I didnt get til much later but pretty much all my friends had it...
I started collecting PS1 Games late last year. I play them on my PS2. If you're looking for a Boxing game, Contender 2 is a fun arcade style with colorful characters.
Love me some boxing games. Haven't played that one. Gonna have to look up some game play and possibly pull the pin on snagging a copy :)
Buster brothers. Metal gear vr missions. Ghost in the shell. All need a play 😊
VR missions is hammer! Haven't played the other 2. We'll have to be on the look out :)
Ghost in the Shell is awesome!
@@stashmerkin9576 they got to give it a try.
Ghost in the shell ❤️ have you played their sequel on the Ps2? It’s very good
Dude, I haven't played Syphon Filter since it came out. I need to give it another go. Loved it back in the day and still have my copy :)
Appreciate the kind words but this isnt a top 10! Just 10 games we are currently playing! Theres lots of great games we didnt mention! Cheers!
Use to play the heck out of Duke Nukem back in the day! So definitely understand your nostalgia and memories of it! Such a classic! Cheers!
Fun fact about the physical version of Strider 2: They messed up on the discs when they printed them, and they put Strider 2 on the Strider 1 disc and vice versa. It affects all copies of Strider 2 to my knowledge!
Yeah we didnt know that and a few other ls mentioned that! Thats crazy! Cheers!
Man Ps1, I just turned 42 today. I fondly remember opening my Atari in 1984-85 which I still have and like 50 or so games... Great upload guys
Nice man! Those are memories you will remember forever and cherish each one! Cheers!
The 3 I've been playing in 2023 are:
1. Nanotek Warrior (a unique 2.5D shooter where jumping is also integrated)
2. Fear Effect (really interesting narrative/action game with cel-shaded graphic so it "holds up" better, compiled over 4 discs. It plays with the action from dino crisis, puzzles and such from Resident Evil, and a bit of stealth from Splintercell for good measure).
3. Philosoma (It has its flaws but it has so much going for it with 4 styles of shooters in one and epic cutscenes that are a blend of "impressive for its time" and "so bad its good B movie.")
* Honorable mention is one of my annual games I beat - Ray Tracers: Arcade racer where you crash into your opponents as you go through each course, each ending with a fun and difficult boss battle!
Got some homework to do here. Ray Tracers sounds like it's right up our alley :)
@Gaming Off The Grid the best type of homework though.
I dont have many PS1 games anymore, but i held on to my favorites. Star Wars: Dark Forces, Gran Turismo 2, and FF8.
Dude, I put so many f'n hours into GT2 back in the day. Was one of the first games I got on PS1 when I finally was able to get the console. Haven't played it in years though. I might still have my save file :). Cheers!
Driver 1, Bushido Blade 1, and Dino Crisis 2 are favorites of mine that just never get old gameplay-wise
Do love the original Driver also just like 2 better! Bushido Blade and Dino are classics also we havent played for awhile!
@@vesperf3830 I honestly spend all my time on Driver playing survival mode which doesn't require that level to be completed.
@@vesperf3830 Dino Crisis two is a bit more action oriented as opposed to horror. Like Alien vs Aliens
Star Ocean, Legend of Dragon, Legaia, Digimon world 3, and many more RPGs that still vivid in my memories when we play (together with children around my fav PS Renter)
Lots of great games for the PS1! Lots of nostaglia for the era! Cheers!
Cheers.
Love the Point Blank games. Only own PB2 currently but we want to complete the series eventually. Great for couch co-op mindless fun. Cheers!
Resident Evil 2 on Ps1 is my fav game of all time.
@@theshredguitarist25 That was a really great game. The music soundtrack was on par with a major movie production.
Nice! Love the long box games. Only own 2 (Twisted Metal and Wrestlemania the Arcade Game.) Hope to add more someday. Cheers!
WWF SmackDown! 2 still gets a lot of play time for me. Power Move Pro Wrestling is also a guilty pleasure. Thanks for covering the PS1
Two good wrestling games! We enjoyed doing this video! Cheers!
It was so revolutionary for its time! My mind was blown i remember that! Game near and dear to my heart! Cheers!
I just got a PS1 in 2023 and so far I'm loving it. I have mostly racing games right now but man is it fun.
Nice! The console itself is dirt cheap currently due to PS2 and PS3 playing the physical discs. Enjoy!
@@bretton_woods Ridge Racer is one on my to buy list. Both Grand Turismo games where fist and I have picked them up already.
Its not a game we are familiar with but has been recommended many times from this video! One we will have to look into playing! Cheers!
I’m still playing Tekken 2 and 3, Ridge Racer 4,Crash series, Point Blank 1-3, Jet Moto , Road Rash and Grand Turismo 2 and 3 plus Porsche Challenge .
Lots of fun and iconic games you mentioned! Cheers!
I love going back to my PS1 to play the huge list of amazing fighting games, Tomb Raider1&2, the Spyro games and the Syphon Filter trilogy
Fighting game genre was very strong on the PS1 and the other games speak for themselves! Classics! Cheers!
Spyro the Dragon, Crash Bandicoot Warped, Soul Reaver, Tomb Raider 2, Ape Escape and Medievil are just a few PS1 classics that I still play to this day
Awesome list of games! Need to try Medevil but the others are hammers! Cheers!
Everyone needs to play Medievil on their PS1. It's not the best ever game made for the console, but it has a compelling story, a creative fantasy setting, an exquisite art style that draws inspiration from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and witty humour that really contrasts well with its dark setting
Playing through SOTN at the moment for the first time! Absolutely amazing game, it's one of my favourite entries in the castlevania series now
One of our favorites also! Such a timeless classic! Cheers!
Me too. Been playing it for the first time in the last couple of weeks. Absolute 10/10 stone cold classic. The atmosphere, design, and music are mindblowingly good. It really shows how style and aesthetic can trump technical prowess and fidelity

The bonus rounds are so addictive
Glad you picked this topic.
I'm currently playing Darkstone (using my PS3): a Delphine Studios masterpiece that was ahead of its time.
Two other games that I've found well worth revisiting are Armored Core and Robo Pit - the latter an early robot battler title with extraordinary customization.

I wish we had a remake of Elemental Gearbolt for modern systems.

@@GamingOffTheGrid Incidentally, Armored Core is available on the PS3's PSN Store. Very highly recommended.
Cheers!

Thats awesome man! Hope you enjoy that! Theres lots of great PS1 titles out there! Cheers!
Spyro 3 , Vigilante 8 & Tekken 3 - I've been playing since 2000 and I don't stop.
Nice 3 staples for the PS1! We play them roughly annually! Cheers!
Parasite Eve and Parasite Eve II are favorites of mine.
I love the PS1, I am constantly playing the original Resident Evil games, also love DOOM on PS1.
You guys should try Diablo on the PS1, it has two player coop which is unique to the Playstation version of the game.

@@GamingOffTheGrid thanks! Hope all is well with you guys too!
Played thay game alot in my younger years and have revisited just not currently playing it! Love it! Cheers!
as much as I hate to admit it, you're right, 5th generation definitely has not aged the best.
Nostalgia is a strong drug! Nothing wrong with that though! SOTN is an all time classic! Cheers!
I’m not playing ps1 titles a lot but recently I found myself playing more namco titles.
Few months ago I watched a 3 hours video of every namco title in the ps1 (from sean seanson) and damn I started to appreciate namco much more that they became my favorite 3rd party publisher.
Yeah I’ve played tekken 3, soulblade, time crisis and klonoa before but there are a lot of great ps1 titles from namco that’s i liked and nobody talk about like dragon valor, pac-man world, ghoul panic (this one you guys gonna love because it’s point blank with 3d graphics), xevious 3d/g and much more
I can find myself enjoying ps1 titles especially titles that’s sony published but those namco titles are some of the best games I’ve played on the console.
We looked into Ghoul Panic a while back. If memory serves me correctly I don't believe it got a US release. Could be wrong on that but I know there was a reason we didn't grab it. Cheers!
@@GamingOffTheGrid yeah ghoul panic was released in japan and pal countries only. But still a fun game to play just like every namco title on the ps1.

2. Metal Gear Solid
3. Front Mission 3
4. Vandal Hearts
5. Crash Team Racing
6. Gran Turismo (i like the first one most)
7. Xeno Gears
Great list! We enjoy all these just need to get back to some of them! Cheers!
Fisherman's Bait 2 and 3 (the latter is known as Big ol'Bass 2) are fun to play and chill out with your friends. Its co-op World Monster Fishing mode is something you'd return to, from time to time.

For me it's Symphony of the Night, Crash 2, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, and Omega Boost
All great games! Need to check out Omega Boost! Cheers!
I'd add Syphon Filter to that list. Was one of my first PS1 games, and I loved it.
Loved the sequels just as much.

Soul Reaver damn near made the list. Tons of fun. Cheers!
You are cranking out these videos guys. The grind is real.
Yes it is! Thanks! Cheers!
This isnt a top 10! This is just 10 games we are currently playing! Like the list! Lots of bangers! Cheers!
@@GamingOffTheGrid Ooohh true. My bad. Great video.
Great list! Personally, FF7 & 8, THPS 1-2, Gran Turismo 2, Syphon Filter. Two games that I played more than most though were Jonah Lomu Rugby and Shane Warnes Cricket. Probably never heard of them outside of NZ, Australia and the UK!
All great games! We could make a bigger list if we wanted to! Cheers!
Add legend of leagaia to this list too
FF7 is so good. i still play it.
When we play it these days we opt for the Dreamcast version. Helps with the visuals a bit. Maybe give that one a try. Cheers!
😂! Hey I have been there before! Cant always be right! Cheers!
I like your guys's video format style. Nice to hear about some of these titles, like Gaia Seed and R-Type Delta. They look fun! I agree: 5th gen is a little hard to go back to bc it was such an experimental gen full of growing pains. So all the nicer to find good games that we may have looked over!
Thanks man! Gaia Seed and R Type Delta are hammers! We love wait Gen 5 did for gaming today! Cheers!
1-4)Final Fantasy 7,8,9 and tactics.
5)Metal Gear Solid
6) Tony Hawk
7) Tekken 3
8) X-Men vs. Street fighter
9) the Spyro the Dragon series
10) Street Fighter Alpha 3
11)Loaded
12-14) Tomb Raider 1-3
15) Castlevania Symphony of the Night
16-17) WWF Smackdown 1 and 2
That's all I can think of offhand
Pretty solid list man! Lots of staples! Some we need to return to! The rosters in those Smackdown games are amazing! Cheers!
That is a great list and I love shooters but Philosoma still holds a place in my heart. I loved how they combined multiple angles and didn’t just stick to side scrolling. And the story and sounds were top notch.
We havent heard of that but that sounds like our style of game so we will look into! Thanks for the recommendation! Cheers!
@@GamingOffTheGrid I read his comment and checked it out. It looks pretty awesome.
Good luck finding it man! Ive been there! Cheers!
You guys bring awesome content and light to retro PlayStation games and consoles. Absolutely love the early PlayStation generation consoles more then other in my opinion. Huge libraries and tons of awesome titles.
Thanks! The library is very deep for sure! Cheers!
I still regularly play my PS1. Usually Spyro the Dragon. Most of my first gaming was with the original Spyro trilogy. I played CTR with my brother while we would eat Bagel Bites so much. Good times.
Heck yeah Bagel Bites and gaming is awesome! Spyro is also! Cheers!
There's only a small handful of 3D games from the Playstation generation that have stood the test of time. Tekken 3 is the only one I can really think of right now
It does still look good! We agree with you! We lean toward more 2d games on the PS1! Cheers!
TeKKeN 2 is better.
@@mountainmgtow5421 that's a pretty hot take. A very wrong take, but still hot as hell. Tekken 3 is far superior to Tekken 2 in every single aspect of gaming.
@@AnthonyRiddle I respect your opinion.
Nice! That sounds awesome! 🍻
PS1 was the JRPGs machine for me
JRPGs Were absolutely on fire during this era! Cheers!
Final Fantasy 7 and 8, Spyro 1-3, Crash Bandicoot 1-3, Gran Turismo 1, Metal Gear Solid.
All staples and hammers for the PS1! Cheers!
Bloody Roar I and II, Starfighter Sanvein, Nanotek Warrior, Assault: Retribution, Top Shop, and All-Star Slammin' D-ball are some of the PS1 games I am digging right now.
Quite a few games here we need to check! Thanks for the recommendations! Cheers!
The Playstation original has a ton of great JRPGs with FF7 helping to popularize the genre. It also helped popularize survival horror with Resident Evil and the Stealth genre with Metal Gear Solid. Because of that I have a deep love for the console, though SNES is still my all time favorite.
It was definitely a game changer. I'd agree on the SNES though. Tough to beat. Cheers!
@@tr1bes I got Tenchu Stealth Assassins.
Also can't forget Xenogears!! That game is just......fantastic!
Yes it is! We need to play it again! Probably been 3 years! Cheers!
Obviously I like to name every jrpg ever released in north America like FF/Squaresoft.
JET MOTTO 2!, Tony hawk, MGS, resident evil, crash bandicoot warped, tekken...
Great list dudes. Definitely going to check some of these out.
Thanks man! Hope you enjoy! Cheers!
Great video!!!! I haven’t played my PS1 games (or any PS1 game), but here are the following games that I love:
Mortal Kombat Trilogy
Tekken 1-3
Ridge Racer Revolution
Project Horned Owl
Revolution X
College Slam
NBA Jam Tournament Edition
NHL 2-on-2 Open Ice Challenge
Crash Bandicoot 1-3
Road Rash
NBA Live 97-2001
Madden NFL 99
WWF WrestleMania - The Arcade Game
NFL Blitz OG
…And many more.
I also have a PS3 and a PS2, but for some reason, I prefer playing on Original PS1 hardware
Original hardware will always be the best way to play! Quite a few titles there we have never played before! Cheers!
my fiancee & i are re building our ps1 collection ,some of the games we have that we love are a mix (of hers and mine ) are area 51, crash bandicoot 2: cortex strikes back, daarkstalkers 3 , darkstalkers : night warriors, Final fantasy tactics , harvest moon: back to nature, jet moto 2 , maximum force , mortal kombat trilogy, pac-man world 20th anniversary , ready 2 rumble boxing: round 2, tekken , and tony hawk's pro skater 3 , we have a few other smaller titles but those are our main favorites that we have currently
PS1 Games in recent years that iv played.....
Most frequent Street Fighter Alpha 3
Then Command and Conquer Red Alert
I played FF7 last year after almost a 20 year gap, that hit me in the feels.
All hammers for the Ps1! Hope I get a chance to dive deep into FF7 again! Put alot of hours into it in the past! Cheers!
Nice man! Im still old enough to remember when Kmarts were thriving! All hammers that you still have! Cheers!
Syphon Filter is an amazing game! You will enjoy the trilogy! Cheers!
I am so glad you honorable mentioned Jedi Power Battles, played that game over and over. I've been eyeing to buy it again!
Such an amazing game! Cheers!
It really is hard because then you are playing one game instead of a bunch of pick up and plays! Yes they were on fire! Cheers!
Kurushi, Raiden DX, Vib Ribbon, Bishi Bashi, RType Delta, Gradius Gaiden, Puchi Carat, Tempest X3, Power Diggerz.Parappa The Rapper. Devil Dice.
Nice list with plenty of games we need to dive into! Cheers!
Twisted Metal 2 is an all time favorite. Twisted Metal Small Brawl is a new ps1 favorite.
Damn near made the list for sure. Love the Twisted Metal games multiplayer. Cheers!
If I had a working PS1 or if my Backwards compatible PS3 was working... I'd be playing Breath of Fire 3 & 4 right now.
Great Game! Love the Zelda series! If I had more time I would definitely be firing one up! Cheers!
Some of the ps1 games I still play
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1&2
Final Fantasy 7&9
Spyro The Dragon Trillogy
Crash Bandicoot Trillogy
Crash Team Racing
Resident Evil 1-3
Dino Crisis
Jet Moto 2&3
Cool Boarders 3
Tekken 3
SOTN
Gran Turismo 2
Mega Man Legends 1&2
While I agree that this generation hasn't aged entirely well, there are still so many great games from this generation.
Completely agree! Theres so many iconic titles from the PS1! Cheers!
The last time I had a PS1 was in 2015 with Tony hawk . I been going back to my psp playing the PS1 classics silent hill and metal gear solid . Thanks for the upload
Thats an awesome way to play the PS1 library! Cheers!
Bought MGS on ps1 last week and love it ! Next stop castlevania - by the way - time crisis is the best
We love the original Time Crisis! We play them all on order! Cheers!
I still do a run-through of Xenogears every so often. My all-time favorite game.
Thats a great game that we need to revisit! Cheers!
I was playing Jumping Flash! on my PS5 this weekend. That game is GREAT!!!
Havent heard of that! Will have to read up on it! Cheers!
Terrific video. I play PS1 games on my RetroPie. I loaded up 605 games and enjoy them 🙂
Nice! Don't have that many on our PS1 Mini but we have quite a few and a pretty solid physical collection as well. Thanks for watching & Cheers to the PS1!
@@GamingOffTheGrid yes, the ps1 has many games that go under the radar. I can think of some, roll away, tecmos deception, dragon valor, echo night.
Blasto and In The Hunt are two games I found now as an adult that I wish I had when I was young. I do play them often and i recommend both.
We'll have to check those out. Haven't played either of them. Thanks for the recommendations. Cheers!
X-Com:UFO Defense will always be my favorite PS1/2 game. My blood pressure is already rising with just the thought of stopping an alien terror raid on a city at night.
Never heard of that! Sounds fun! We will be looking into it! Cheers!
Awesome! Yeah we didnt play much PS1 growing up! We had the N64! So theres lots of games we are still learning about from the PS1!
Nice list. I still play Oddworld Abes Oddysee and Oddworld Abes Exoddus from beginning to end atleast once a year. They still remain my favorite games.
We have not played that game! We will have to look into it! Cheers!
Cheers!
@@GamingOffTheGrid Agreed.
Digimon World (1999) is one of the best game Ive played. If you like rpgs and/or pokemon you will love this game.
Great game! Been a long time since we played it! Digimon was big my high school years! Cheers
