I play bass too but not as good as you. I’ve been having lessons for maybe 2 years now. I strongly recommend Kristen Pffaf’s from Hole bass lines. I’m sure you know her. I’m suprised you have not got them yet here. I asked my teacher to go through every bass line from Hole’s Live through this’ album. I love ‚Asking. For it’ the most.

Actually, "Asking For It" is the next Hole song that's going to appear here in a month or so:) The problem with them is that the bass is often buried so deep down in the mix that you're almost guessing it at certain points. Have you heard Melissa Auf Der Maur's solo albums? If you haven't, check 'em out, those are awesome records.

Well, Kristen was dead, so they needed a replacement. Melissa didn't even want to join the band at first since the whole situation around Hole was quite sad after Kurt's and Kristen's suicides, but Courtney talked her into it.
The bass is to quiet in the mix.not criticism just really want to hear it. We have exactly the same for music. Hope you are still reasonably safe where you are 🤞

@@broberts5336 Lol, sorry for replying to that message, I didn't see this one at first:) The face can be seen on some other videos as well ("Youth Against Fascsim" by Sonic Youth is one of them, I think), but I only showed it because a couple of people in the comments requested a "face reveal" for some reason:)

I listen to it on my iphone without headphones just through the speaker. I meant we have the same TASTE for music.
