bro you have no idea how perfect timing this video is. i love you. I chummed 25lbs at my spot about 4 days ago. been fishing with no bites. ive caught them there before never alot but id see them rolling years agp. any advice? thanks man.
i fish in the bayous/rivers of south louisiana.. also saltwater sometimes but i fish on shore.. how long does it normally take to attract the cats with range cubes?? will the cubes work the first time or does the fish have to be trained to a spot?? I really cant leave nothing there because people pick stuff up. I been looking for something to attract fish fast but i have all day to fish when i go.. sometimes i really cant get to the fish because i dont have a boat... sucks lol

@@92greenebeen It really depends a lot on the water way you're fishing, weather & temp. For cats you'll need to sour the range cubes (they've got to be smelly otherwise you attract a lot of Carp & Buffalo). Generally it only takes 15 to 30 minutes on a good day for a baited hole to begin bringing in lots of feeding fish where I fish in Texas. You'll need to bait out more than 1 hole for the best success though.
@CatchingDinosaurs you can make them yourself pretty easily. I personally have alot more hook ups with hair rigs but I did fish corn on the hook before I really got into carping
Has anybody ever done this for mullet? I found this video looking for a video of mullet. Old timers say it works but I’ve never seen it and it seems to good to be true. I know chicken mash mixed with water will chum them (and Carp always show up to) but that’s the biggest pain in the butt! Also I don’t like making silt in the rivers.

@@92greenebeen you can definitely attach fish with them the same day but consistently doing it is best

Great method! I’m trying this for sure!
works really well on the river if you do it a little consistently
Thanks for sharing! Very helpful
glad it was helpful.
So do chum same spots several days before you fish?
So you do chum same day you fish?

Do you know if gar will eat freshwater black drum ? Have you ever tried it as bait?
yah the last 8 foot gar we caught was on freshwater drum its good bait in some of the rivers in Texas
@@CatchingDinosaurs cool I'll give it a try and see how it does on the Brazos. Thanks 👍😊
ما شاء الله أتمنى لك التوفيق والنجاح والصيد الممتع 💚💚
Hair rigs revolutionised carp fishing, how can you not like them? 😂😂
most of the people advocating them are making money off selling gear for it

I really like gar, they're tougher than most other fish
yah they are amazing fish
There are so many carp here that a school will be there within hours. After the fifth fish your arm gets tire
sounds like an awesome day
How long have you been baiting those spots?
years i but i fish about a dozen spots for carp.
Thanks I need to start baiting a couple spots somewhat regularly to build a base
@@deerkillersinc1 thats the way to do it, with the range cubes it easy too
Del Monte is way crispier
