These homeowners seemed fantastic to work with! Wonder how they love it now.
Just what I needed after coming home from work!
Very nice but where is the high chair going ;)
The kitchen is fabulous but that basement is sort of creepy. This is why you get a engineer to look over a house before you buy.
That's what I was thinking .It's definitely a seller's market out there right now .I watch a ton of Reno videos and house buying shows and it's so crazy that people r bidding way more than the asking prices of homes and is crazy how much more they r getting for a home and how much competition it is to even get one .I guess people r going after a home with so much gesto that they don't know what all they're getting and just want a home to live in .
And this was from 15 yrs ago, Toronto market was overheated then and still is today.
I think in the long run they will NOT be happy with the placement of those double ovens. When you pull a 13 x 9 casserole or a 10 lb turkey out, you want to put them down immediately. Where can you put them in this kitchen? Not on the little table and the island and counter look about 4-5 steps away. Not so great.
I agree. The ovens look really far away.
Not to mention the seating area is right in front of the ovens.
There's a stainless steel counter about 5' away, to the right, for a hot turkey pan.
I wonder if the home buyers had an inspection before buying. Because if they knew the problems with the foundation and floors they might of negotiated a lower price. And maybe this did happen.
Spectacular shiny kitchen ❤
Just realized Andrew looks quite a bit like the actor Chevy Chase.
Nice for sure Interesting
This episode is quite chaotic, but if you don't mind a bunch of garble between before and after, stick around for a stunning reveal.
Is it essential to have background music?
Talking on the phone while driving? How old is this show? We know better now.
The kitchen is gorgeous; what a great transformation.
I think mid 2000s.

it aired Jan 2005 I believe
My goodness...only in Toronto can you buy a house that's bowed & sinking with unnoticed sloping floors but then notice the gray of the island is an nth bit bluer than expected.
(end result was fantastic & the owners were lovely)
Just beautiful!!
My all-time favorite kitchen!
Where do guests sit when they come over for a meal? There's no dining room.
That's a beautiful kitchen!!! Almost like a dining area, sleek and classy. Love the transformation but it did take a lonnnnng time😅
Beautiful, gorgeous, fantastic. My dream kitchen. Wish you were in Pennsylvania.
When did they decide to make the countertops SS and the island stone? They swapped them from the clip they showed. This house needed more than one 20 minute segment to unpack so we could comprehend what was happening. The end result is beautiful to look at as always, but as always it's practical lessons are debatable.
They decided to make the island stone as an accent and the rest in SS, I don't get the confusion.
Completely ignores the architecture of the house.
who is the caveman tearing up the floor 10:31
The house is beautiful but a total money pit.
Can I just say, Andrew is so hot!
I can't get past their names. I laughed every time I heard them.
I don't think I can finish watching this. The music is way too loud and annoying.
I m sorry but I don’t get why design team does cleaning,,,maybe that’s what was acceptable in the 90s….lol
Well I mean it's the 2000's not the 90's
I'm the "it's not clean unless I do it" type of person lol so I'd be upset they didn't let me do it hahaha
