Mr. Usher (On His Way To Town) - The Dear Hunter Live Cover

- This cover is special for many reasons. Primarily, it is the first song on this channel to be performed live in one take.
In addition, we had the pleasure to have our long-time friend Paolo as a guest (though we were his guests in his tiny recording studio). Last but not least the band itself is special for Giovanni, who transmitted us his love for them.
In fact Giovanni has been listening to The Dear Hunter for some years now, and he fell in love with the Acts immediately. However he never had the opportunity to cover one of their songs.
Nonetheless, the right opportunity came this October, in the form of a contest from a Facebook group ( / tdhfangroup . Arranging this cover in a few days was hard, but in the end playing Mr. Usher was a lot of fun.
This surely won't be our last cover by The Dear Hunter, and we hope to do others as soon as possible!

Thank you Connor! It is something born spontaneously, not something we thought much about. It is probably due to the fact that Giacomo (the pianist) was deepening the Acts in that period. And some melodies and progressions are so mesmerizing and incredibly well implemented thorough the entirety of the "journey", as you surely know. They lead the road through the Acts, connecting everything.
