The host is not doing a good job. He is not making it a smooth flowing experiences. He is fumbling and letting these awkward silences happen where he is isn't sure what to do. Russell cannot take over the whole show and cannot keep talking endlessly. It's not a solo act. We know he can do that - don't we.

He got interrupted after he was going to talk about racism in Canada when he was growing up. My wife grew up in Montreal in the early 90's as well and there was a lot of racism in Montreal public schools and it was like a wild zoo during a mad max movie. She even almost got hit quite a few times by a middle eastern immigrant kids who weren't used to being told or shout by a girl or the weak gender as they called it, and my wife have to confront Arab kids quite often until they knew their place, meaning they weren't in their countries anymore. There was a lot of fights between Latino and Arab kids as well, and racism run openly handled by locals who even called some profound and offensive names to all immigrants who were a minority compare to them. Imagine the shock to my wife who came from a prestigious single-gender private school from her country at age 10 and had to face this kind of behavior and reality from the Montreal punk trend in public schools, she mentioned her public school in Canada even have dedicated smoking rooms for students. 20 years later, I moved to Canada and found a paradise in College at Montreal, when I mentioned my experiences with teachers and local students on how extremely nice they were with me, making me the most popular student in class by far, my wife, my brother in law and his wife who all grew up in Montreal going to those same public schools from hell, they simply couldn't believe my stories. A new generation took over and things were drastically different thanks to globalization.

Peters is not an unusual last name for Christian Indians (who are most certainly a minority). I encountered quite a few in Sacramento. My main assistant was a Hindu & said it was quite common where she was a child in India.
