Thank you for publishing this particular video. For a one-man army like myself with no budget for anything pristine or extra, this scratches parts of my brain that have never been touched. I only have to further simplify this to my ultra-low budget and I should be good. Again, thank you for publishing this specific video.
I really enjoyed this video... it seamed relaxed, natural and didn't rely on tons of ultra high-end kit. Your mastery of lighting is clearly on show and the result was lovely. I enjoyed the song too. :). Awesome.
So good! Really enjoyed this one after watching all 4 seasons of Making a Film Company! Only one thing: the guitar chords in the song don’t match with what he is playing on the final music video, was the guitar in some other tuning?
My guitar is dropped one whole step! so I have to play the song in the key of D when its actually in the key of C! Cool that you noticed that! And also thank you for mentioning the song and that you like it!
Great results that show how creativity and ingenuity come together to make something special. May I ask, did you have a recorded version of the song playing during the takes to keep everything in sync.? I would love to learn more about the technical details on how to shoot music videos.
I love that idea with the newspaper! I will definitely take that with on my next project. I was actually wondering, whether you set the white balance according to the key light or on purpose a little bit warmer or colder?
I usually set it to match the main light hitting the skin. But if the video isn't too compressed I can set it a bit under or over to make it look closer to what I want for the final result/grade, on set.
Good work, However, I would have gotten rid of the newspapers on your night scenes. Having the black curtains outside would have been enough. Also instead of making holes in the newspaper sheets, I would have stick them in a way that some do not overlap to give some spaces for light beams to pass through. Best wishes
Really love this type of content. I am following your vdeos from the very beginning and it is inspiring me a lot. It helped me to dream a big and start also my own filmmaking company with my best friend in Hungary. Just a quick question, what kind of image transmission system are you using?😁
Hey Andyax, always love your content. Great work as usual. Question; How do you guys find the Molus X60 for corporate talking head content? Is it noisey and how long does the battery last?
hi buddy, i am struggling right now with recording in slog 3. i have done so many projects on this picture profile and in some of them i nailed the lighting and the exposure but i really need a way for it to do it every single time. i tried to use false color but it do not work so well. u know it is slog 3 😂😂. so how i should do it when there is god rays in the room and i need the contrast how i should do it? with zebras? histogram?!! maybe eye? 😂😂 please help me mate. thanks a lot and your work is so beautiful and flawless.
Thanks. Yeah, unfortunately we had no chance removing it as we didn't find the owner. We ended up decided it was ok as it was a bit rusty and was gray/silver :)
