This season started off with all the rain, and a lot of heat earlier in the week. This year will be interesting.

Planted a 5gl Satsuma Mandarin last December 2023. Like Gary mentioned, nurseries use compost based soil. I took all the soil off and peeled off pieces of bark stuck on the roots. I was gentle and didn't lose any roots. The tree didn't wilt at all and is doing just fine now end of April 2024. Looking forward to some serious growth this summer. Gary's videos gave me confidence and know how to transplant the tree properly.
