Fantastic and informative as always. The video editing has come a long way, really so professional and of a payware video instruction level! Many thanks!
Hmmm......very informative ....your videos are the best. I always learn so much from them. On a separate note, there is no way you can make this video with aerosofts bus. Just goes to show you how good fslabs is at simulating systems.
hello, i have a question regarding wing anti ice. once you de ice, you leave them off during taxi and take off because you are safe due to de ice holdover time right. my main question is, if there is ice accumulation, would you switch wing anti ice on right after take off?
Hi. On the ground wing anti ice on the A320 doesn’t work. Only for a 30 second self test cycle. Inflight it is not recommended to fly in icing conditions for long periods of time with flaps and slats extended because of the risk of ice accretion at the unprotected areas. What you are referring to is an ice buildup because of melted ice refreezing aft of the slats because of using wing anti-ice for longer periods of time. There is not a limit on that as long as slats and flaps are retracted.
Hi thanks for this video!! I just have one doubt if the wing anti ice requires the engine bleeds what would you do if you have an engine failure during icing conditions?
Then you lose wing anti-ice on the side of the failed engine. However in that case there is a procedure where you open the crossbleed valve to recover the failed side. In this case you need to switch off one pack thought
Thanks for this greet video Random question!!! Is it normal to have wing anti ice on for the entire cruise? Checklist says below 10degrees to switch it on? But streams I’ve seen no one ever seems to use it ?
Ive noticed that landing with anti ice turned on will prompt an ECAM warning during roll out. Is this to be expected or should anti ice be deselected prior to landing to avoid this warning?
Sollte eigentlich nicht vorkommen. Falls doch, hätte es Auswirkungen auf das Flugverhalten bei größeren Anstellwinkel. Dann würde es schneller zu einem Strömungsabriss kommen.
I have a question: Sometimes once I pushback and both engines have been started, I receive a “GEN 1 FAULT” memo. This disappears once the engines spool up for taxi. Is this normal?
Why don't you stream live on RUclips rather than Twitch? I believe you can have a lot more views here and it will be more convinent for the followers. Cheers!
Blackbox711 I’ve learnt so much from you, it was meant as a helpful token of appreciation - best thing about the aviation world is that we all keep learning. All the best🙂
Wow, amazing video quality. All these animations also help you to visualize how all the systems work. Absolutely fantastic!
Thank you for your feedback! Glad you like it 👍🏼
Hallo Blackbox
Schön dass du Zeit für ein neues Video hattest.
Sehr gut erklärt, wie immer! EINFACH SPITZE
Danke sehr 👍🏼
You really increased your production quality, it's amazing. Thank you Blackbox711 !
Thank you for watching and the kind words
The quality of your videos increased remarkably.
very nice and clean editing and as always, an informative video! :)
Viele Grüße

Thank you very much Jexr!
Love the new production on this. So helpful to see the detailed labelling. Bravo!
Thank you for the feedback. I am glad you like the new editing.
Scandinavian livery… Nice!
Good to have you back. Excellent video, looking forward to the follow up.

Thank you Daniel!
Great explanation, thank you!
Thanks for excellent explanation
Thank you 👍🏼
Amazing vedeo and very good explanation. Looking forward to watch more videos about aircraft systems :)
wow this is a new level of video quality ! thanks

The Aerosoft A320 is in now way as detailed as the FSLabs A320. So you are correct. I can’t make these videos with Aerosoft
Do you mean Aerosoft pro version sir?
thank you for the very nice presentation

Hi. Correct. That is why you can calculate takeoff performance with wing anti ice on. So after takeoff you can switch on the wing anti ice.
Any limitation for using wing anti-icing?I've heard that long-term use of the anti-icing system would cause ice accretion on rear edge of the wings

Thanks for this new video. What are the rules to turn the anti icing system on in flight?
Wait for the next video. I will explain everything there
Is there an automatic function for Engine and Wing anti ice?
Not in the A320
Nice, may I know, how to get the A320 simulator like on your videos above?
The simulator is sold by Flightsimlabs.com
Hey!
the effect of temperature on the altimeter is not realized? can we not worry about this in the sim?
?
Have you seen tomatoshade ? Its essentially like pta, but free, plus it has enhanced reflections profiles for various planes.
Hi Mozoto. Yes, I am actually using it
Blackbox711 can you tell me what tomato shade preset you use and if you use any for reflections for the fslabs outside and vc?
NIce video. Where did you get this livery from plz? Thanks
Thank you. The liveries are from the downloadsection on the FSLabs Forum Website
This is a very informative and good video! Thank you! :)
Thanks for the positive feedback 👍🏼
Thank you man.
Love your videos. Thank you for this one
Why only the outboard slats are heated , not inboard as well
Because the wing root is a lot bigger there and hence not being very sensitive to ice accretion on the leading edges there.

@@Blackbox711 Thank you!! I learned something new today :)
Why is SLAT 1 not heated?
Slats 1 and 2 aren’t heated because the wing is fairly thick at that are so that oce accumulation is less intense there
Is that icing effect from the ffa320? Looks so nice!
No it is FsLabs in p3d not xplane.
Hey BB , why is slats 1 and 2 not heated by the system? I dont think you said it
The wing root area is very big at that point and so ice accumulation is not as severe and doesn’t have such a big impact on the aerodynamics
Thanks for this greet video
Random question!!!
Is it normal to have wing anti ice on for the entire cruise? Checklist says below 10degrees to switch it on? But streams I’ve seen no one ever seems to use it ?
Hi. You only use the wing anti-ice when there is an ice buildup. It rarely happens at cruise altitude.
A320 has icing added ? I thought it was for a319 for now.
He probably has access to a prerelease version..
elmar001 I am showing the A319 here. But the system is the same for A319 and A320
Ive noticed that landing with anti ice turned on will prompt an ECAM warning during roll out. Is this to be expected or should anti ice be deselected prior to landing to avoid this warning?
Luke Bruce-Smith wing anti-ice is usually deselected before landing, whoever in severe icing it may be left on
@@Blackbox711 Ok danke
Vielen Dank!!! Weiter so
Gread video BB!
I have a question:

Is this normal?
Little bug atm where at low engine rpm the generator electric output doesn’t connect to the electrical bus system
Blackbox711
Do they know of this?
Nice! Bitte mehr davon 😊
😂 ich versuche es
You’re awesome!
Hey Blackbox!
how old are you, and what do you fly in real life today? :)
Older than you think and yes

I am planning to stream on YT in the near future.
Pneumatic is pronounced "new-matic", great video tho :)
He's a type rated 320 captain, I'm pretty sure he knows that.
Listen at 2m 30s....
@@FQTV320 he said naw-matic. It's his accent you're hearing no Paaaa-namtic
I will try to pronounce it correctly next time 👍🏼
