It's ridiculous to demand a specific meta be catered to when we don't even have a functional game. Server caps mean that we aren't having real fleet engagements. Balance needs to centre around a fleet. Not one specific ship For E.g, a hammerhead and fighters vs. fighters should win. The hammerhead alone shouldn't win but should be impenetrable in an area denial situation vs. small numbers of light fighters. But also a solo large ship with unmanned turrets should also be stomped So no. CIG shouldn't make solo space. dads flying multicrew without turrets be meta..

I don't use CS because I'm impatient and usually going too fast, so there's no time to lock on when you reach max range, before I do, I hit min range and I'm switching to guns. I do love the Rattlers, but, until the fight is going, EM is usually higher than IR, so, again, easier to get a lock.
idk about fighters but they have already talked about soft spots on ships years ago. places like ejection pods ect are thinner armored and such and with fighters soon they will be having the aerodynamic physics and engineering which will affect their flight a lot more from being hit in a fight.
The chat... The best chat system I ever exoerienced was WoW. It was easy to understand and quick to use and chat with the ppl you wanted to. Whisper, group, raid, all ...
And they are deleting any feedback they dont like They need to do away with master modes, add armour and mass to ships, fix the collision detection and then they can ballance weapons and finalize weapon types. Buuut no they dont wanna do and probably cant do any of that
They're not getting rid of master modes. It's the SQ42 flight model, and they need to be the same models as sq42 is the hook to hring casuals into the pu

My friend and I were talking about master modes a couple of days ago and this is what we came up with. The main problem is multi crew ships get hosed when trying to run away or if they get snatched out of quantum. So we came up with this when entering in NAV mode your shields stay up, your speed is halved and you lose your pilot guns but manned turrets stay on. Now the speed of every ship needs to be increased in combat mode to implement this. CIG and other people need to understand “this is coming from mostly a cargo and mining player” it’s ok if the “pro” pilot 1v5’s people like really if you trained every day in something you should be able to wipe the floor with a bunch of noobs if I go up against someone that’s been only doing PVP and they shit on me, ya no shit I rarely PVP that’s not because there using the meta ship I just suck. @15:52 - I think that's an NPC Reclaimer bug though. They have had perma-shields for a while now. I hit one with 2x Panthers and a entire mag on my Cutty's default ballistics, all aimed at the same rear shield face. It never dropped below 100%.
They must remove this shield regeneration delay when you hit from ships like it was before and ballance shield regeneration rate and all problems big ships have now will gone. No matter how big you shield is even if its s4 shield you have 5 sec regeneration delay when you hit it means any small ship even aurora can drain it non stop firing..
Countermeasures do very little. Funny enough i was interdicted today and absolutely railed by a cutty and size 1 EM'S. Sometimes it can be quite aggrevating.
When you were mentioning size one missiles (11:40), I remembered outfitting my Cutlass Black with 40 size ones. I wonder what would be more effective, the above loadout or a max load (16 missiles?) of size two "Rattlers" (7 mini=missiles each)? ;-)
ROFL The only feedback that matters is Chris. MM is here to stay. It is dumbed down mode, but when you play on controllers and eye the console market, MM makes your smooth brain happy.

I had a guy is discord crying about mastermodes constantly, when you finally drag him into mm arena commander and he gets tooled, he won't admit it requires skill because combat is super dangerous, no tricording out at max speed now. As for missiles, counter measures work, too well I would argue.
Missile dedicated ships will have multilock and missile spam thats not going away sorry. If anything missiles suck atm and need to be way way stronger.

They won't be able to balance the ship they're just going to come out with ships that have more firepower in the same class, They want to balance it they got to keep it simple light fighters that only have the firepower to go up against medium fighters, with difficulty. No light fighter should ever be able to take out anything bigger than a medium And so on and so forth. rmc value needs to be cut in half, cm needs to be a little bit more than doubled not by much, They need to stay close within themselves to make it worth going after both, And to really add a level of difficulty they shouldn't be able to crush a ship unless a certain amount of RMC has been harvested. Salvage missions need to be completely balanced out it's ridiculous you pay $5,000 and $10,000 for the exact same ship with very little payout I think the cargo that you find on them is plenty. then let's talk about the fact that you can't crush a ship unless the power's off but you go to turn off the power and the ship already has no power... That needs to be looked at That's all I have time to put down I got to go back to work

I heard they are like 40 bucks for the starting one (no game package, obviously), but don't worry they will be purchasable in game cash by the next 2 patches.
I mean CIG needs to make a game first of all but also guys SC cannot be a complicated space flight sim anymore, canes like that are for small niche audiences and SC can't be sustained by a small audience any longer
My dear, if high ceiling is to select few that truly are superior then... the system is bad as to pevemt flow. Flow to balance area for dominance. As long as metrics show the avg joe 0000 improvements on his own volution and a bit of determination then the system is bad gameplay. It does nit mean yogi snd team are morons by any means, it means the system offers 0 natural growth and 100% you get it right away or you are fucked, which i hope now you realize what a bad system is ???? Now learning to become a pro let say SC vidéo tutorials that CIG truly hopes will solve all is a misconception. You know you understand the system and master it right away over others that appears to struggle to the point they are, feel, look dumb, are you going to share as a backer, no you ain't. You stick to basis, know your ship and pull the stick to keep up tsrget alignement, but beside that, you wont share. Thats where we ate at. Picking up the system in depth and its strength, caveats might exist but is hush hush; therefore is a terrible system

Or make it a delay (size shield - gun size) = recharge delay.
If you have a size 3 shield getting hit by size 2 guns, no recharge delay.
