Throwback! Thanks for helping me remember how much enjoyment I got out of this game when I was younger! Having said that, was anyone else screaming "STOP MISSING KILLS, YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET 'MISSION ACCOMPLISHED' THAT WAY". =(
6:20 that, that right there, was the first greatest iconic phrase in gamign I could think of that seems like an archived classic treasure in gaming history..keep rolling on barrel...keep rolling
I still remember that initial launch sequence. We flipped the fuck out over how cool the graphics were. And seeing the clouds reflected on the cockpit glass? Man, we were in complete awe. Memories!
if you go under every arch in the last water area it will direct you to a secret passage through the water fall and fight another boss and progress you to another planet.
I miss my Nintendo 64. This was my favorite game for years. I must have spent hundreds of hours playing it over and over again when I was a kid. But I always played in first-person. The camera you're using is just so awkward to me. I can't do nearly this well with that camera. I'd be dead in minutes.
hildegain I never meant to imply that ALL cartridge based games featured game saves. It's just that I recently purchased StarFox 64 and was confused at the fact my progress wasn't saved. I wanted to find out if it saved progress or not. Sorry Yahoo answers wasn't my first choice to ask the question. Also, I was never complaining about the video maker, never said anything the video. I was complaining to the comment maker because "It was 1997" doesn't seem like a valid answer to the question. I'd even say "Look it up" would've been a better fit there. My reaction wasn't the best, I know, but nobody else in the conversation cleared anything up. You don't owe me anything, but why reply if the answer's just going to be vague?
Mine in Corneria is 55, that's just odd! 15 minutes can save you 15% or more on arwing insurance. mine in meteo without the warp is 39, with the warp is 183.
It took me till 2002 to figure out if i went under those arches i could go on the route to sector y....that drove me nuts i kept wanting to go to the other planets but didnt know how
i played this back in 2002 and i was stuck in the asteriod. but played it again few years ago and i got passed the asteroid and got to venom and beaten andross
I've been playing star fox on Wii U. I think it's a great star fox game. True to the series. Controls, as you know, are unique, but in a way it serves a purpose and brings a new option to the game. Only half way through, since I just got it this week for 30 bucks. But it's really fun.
teamoutrage1 I thought so too. I just dont get why they messed up the controls with that cockpit shit. Nice idea but a choice would have been nice. I played through zero once. I would fucking love to play it with the pro controller and I really hoped Nintendo would at least patch it to play it with the controller but all hope lost. So still playing Lylatwars 64 while hoping for nintendo to fucking get star fox on the right route
Im 10 have a xbox and a wii and have like 3 ds's and still love and play this game.I also know about the easter egg but I hate the flash back fire thing after the easter egg boss.
Jogo muito bom, lembra o classico do Super nintendo, porem faltou trilha sonora, nao tem uma musica ai que va me trazer lembrança desse jogo. o do Super nintendo tinha uma otima musica.
Why do I remember being that boss so much harder than what it seems now.. maybe I was just young? lol... Remember!!!! If you go into the waterfall before the final boss you get to that other final boss?! :ppp THUS TAKING YOU TO THE OTHER PLANET!! Instead of the one intended! >_< lul..
Omg I played this ALL THE TIME when I was little , memories 😄
The nostalgia the feels
Part of the childhood right here.
Throwback! Thanks for helping me remember how much enjoyment I got out of this game when I was younger! Having said that, was anyone else screaming "STOP MISSING KILLS, YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET 'MISSION ACCOMPLISHED' THAT WAY". =(
The dialogue and the boss defeats made this memorable!
Star fox's game play will never get old
6:20 that, that right there, was the first greatest iconic phrase in gamign I could think of that seems like an archived classic treasure in gaming history..keep rolling on barrel...keep rolling
This and GoldenEye, MarioKart, and Donkey Kong are what made N64 so awesome.

Who remembers hitting all of the blue warps and getting that awesome teleport sequence to help Bill?
I like to think that Slippy is the star fox version of Krillin as he is constantly in trouble. lol
Android 17's channel wtf is up with him
The more I fight the second boss, the more I realize just how much Project ACES was inspired by it when making the SOLG for Ace Combat 5.
I had played this game so much I felt like crying when I heard this dialogue right here
Paulyb22801 them feels man
Me to man, me too..
if you go under every arch in the last water area it will direct you to a secret passage through the water fall and fight another boss and progress you to another planet.
Legend Has It They Are Still Barrel Rolling To This Day...
Dem memories doe.
I played this game all the time when I was 5-7!
Dang... i remembered when playing this game, the graphics were dooope
I found it funny during the opening part where a player can move the 64 around as Star Fox teams watches it. lol
good memories
As good as this game was when it came out, I gotta say that the hype wore off after not so long and I still went back to the original.
"Do a barrell roll!" ... then hits wings on bridge and the floor lol
Man...I miss this game
I play this Nintendo 64 when I was a child. Now I'm older.
Alex Briscoe n64 kicks fucking ass!
I miss my Nintendo 64. This was my favorite game for years. I must have spent hundreds of hours playing it over and over again when I was a kid. But I always played in first-person. Same ;)
MisterCrowley27 the n64 was so dang awesome
Do you have play through the whole thing in one sitting? I had to start over and it put me back at the beginning.
hildegain I never meant to imply that ALL cartridge based games featured game saves. It's just that I recently purchased StarFox 64 and was confused at the fact my progress wasn't saved. Carlos Cafe watch out for the dreaded venom glitch!
The Total Hits Without the warp is 94, the other with the warp is 238.
6:20 "DO A BARREL ROLL!"
Classic! XD
i miss this game
My childhood memories :/
The Whole reason I Watched This Video Is To Hear peppy Say "Do A Barrel Roll"
Fox said that like "Andross won't have his way with me like he did my punk butt daddy"
This game is awesome!
thank you.
THIS GAME IS 20 YEARS OLD
Best game ever made
i loved that game!
Mine in Corneria is 55, that's just odd! 15 minutes can save you 15% or more on arwing insurance. mine in meteo without the warp is 39, with the warp is 183.
Imagine a mod but everytime Fox talks its him yelling while doing an up b in Melee
You did not do through the secret passage through the waterfall...
Nantchev do you want to go to sector?
Because that is how you get to sector y.
The nostalgia
I remember this when i was about 5
memories
pretty sure I still need to give this game back. got so obsessed I borrowed then stole it.
my favorite one is Star Fox Assault from 2005
loved this shit back then :D
It took me till 2002 to figure out if i went under those arches i could go on the route to sector y....that drove me nuts i kept wanting to go to the other planets but didnt know how
Awww. You did the bad ending to the first mission.
It's the term for music from 8-bit games. Basically just old Casio keyboard quality music.
if you went trough all the tunnels the right way in the first mission
another boss enemy would appear
EPIC!
i played this back in 2002 and i was stuck in the asteriod. but played it again few years ago and i got passed the asteroid and got to venom and beaten andross
Classic starfox 64 1997
Starfox zero is probably the only reason I'm going to buy a Nintendo Wii U
I've been playing star fox on Wii U. I think it's a great star fox game. True to the series. Controls, as you know, are unique, but in a way it serves a purpose and brings a new option to the game. Only half way through, since I just got it this week for 30 bucks. But it's really fun.
teamoutrage1 is star fox zero a prequel?
teamoutrage1 I thought so too. I just dont get why they messed up the controls with that cockpit shit. Nice idea but a choice would have been nice. I played through zero once. I would fucking love to play it with the pro controller and I really hoped Nintendo would at least patch it to play it with the controller but all hope lost.
