My lovely community, for some reason my camera settings were messed up for a series of videos and the quality is anything but crisp. I am truly sorry. I didn’t realize this until everything was edited and ready to upload. I decided I rather want you to have the access to those wonderful routines than to dispose them. Thank you for understanding🙏🏼 xo❤️🫶🏼 Teresa
Thank you for your videos. I know that everyone is not the same, but these really help me. I am still working on doing these techniques consistently as I master my anxiety somedays, and then other days, it conquers me. Sometimes I don't even realize how much built-up tension I have until I watch one of your videos it forces me to focus my mind and address the tension inside myself. I have had great nights of sleep thanks to your videos. Keep the up the good work.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this, it truly means the world to me. 🫶🏼 I’m so glad the techniques are helping you navigate your anxiety and providing you with those much needed moments of relief. It’s such a powerful step to recognize the tension within and take action to release it. Don’t worry if some days feel harder than others, that’s all part of the journey. What matters is that you’re showing up for yourself, and even small steps add up over time. You are doing great!❤️
Thank you for reminding us at the end of this video that feeling the results of this work takes time as the body integrates and unfurls. I always need reminders that the things I've held on to for many years will take time to come undone.
New subscriber..I have never heard of somatic routines…really amazing! Making this a priority from now on. Super relaxing, sounds are awesome as well. Thankful for a new approach for my stress & cortisol issues. 🙏
Thankyou. I just found you. This was better than most out videos there. You do an amazing job. I enjoyed your own voice, your calmness, your guidance and your relaxed attitude. Great video even if it isn't crisp. Thankyou for being you. 💙💎
This is my first comment on RUclips ever. 🎉 I can't resist writing to you, because I loved every single exercise and (!) all the words spoken. I love the perfect not perfect style, your expertise and guidance. Please be as you are. Good luck with your work.
I start my mornings with your videos and exercises. It helps me feel more calm and I release a lot. I love that the videos are patient in nature. Looking forward to practicing more with you 😊
I’m using these daily because my cortisol is so high. Please keep the Boot Camp coming. I’m doing them and starting to feel a little bit better. My anxiety is so bad and my dizziness keeps me from working and leaving the house.
@@sheBREATH_Teresa In the world were people want short videos every youtuber is struggling to keep audience attentive in longer video your followers want long video it's because ur videos are that effective.
I just discovered your videos, thank you. I have struggled to find somatic exercises that resonate with me and don't exacerbate my joint injuries and fit into my busy schedule. I love your videos! Please keep them coming. Massive gratitude and thanks! 🙏
Good evening, Just sharing my experiences here so that u get some additional ideas for diff types of videos I had a stressful day while returning my cab travel was 20 mins. I utilised the time did thumb press & palms rub routine. By the time i reached home i was feeling relaxed. So thank u again for giving such easy & doable routine helping us relax anywhere no need to wait to have a pvt space for workout. Suggestion for video quick 10 mins workout that can be done while in a cab drive. Something that can be done with fingers & palms. Just suggesting if not possible no worries. I will continue sharing my positive experience so that we can become a community sharing hope, positivity & helping each other in building a healthy life..
Thank you, i really liked this video, i appreciate, that you explained what is happening and what are the benefits of these exercises, so i subscribed too ✨
Thank you so much! Absolutely loved this routine! Why does it take me back to my childhood memories? Is there something I need to know about it? Thanks again 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m so glad you enjoyed this one. Somatic practices help us reconnect with our body and nervous system in a way that feels deeply familiar, sometimes evoking a sense of safety or comfort from the past. This could explain why it resonates with your childhood. There’s nothing specific you need to know, but if this routine felt good, it might be worth revisiting regularly as part of your self-care. ❤️
The thumb press is sooooo effective i use it daily during client visit, when my boss shows his temper when doing conflict resolution. Its so easy that i can do it while sitting around the table & nobody notices. Its like live stress in stress out instantly. This has helped a lot for my weight loss everytime i feel emotional eating i do this exercise. Just thinking out loud if possible can u make a video exclusively on routine of palms & fingers which we can use while having difficult discussions yet nobody will notice just a thought if not possible it's ok.
Happy new year to everybody on this channel. Lets make 2025 a very successful year for each of us & i am sure all these effective workout will help us achieve our dreams which seemed a little difficult earlier.
Thank you so much for your kind and uplifting message! It’s so lovely of you to send these wishes to everyone here. Happy New Year to you too! Let’s keep supporting each other and working towards those dreams!🫶🏼❤️
This dovetails with with work of Joe Dispenza. Thanks!! When the body is constantly on high alert, it releases cortisol to mobilize energy for a perceived threat. This can lower the immune system, making the body more susceptible to sickness. Cortisol also triggers the release of glucose from the liver for quick energy.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment and for making the connection to Joe Dispenza's work! You're absolutely right, chronic stress keeps the body in a state of high alert, and elevated cortisol levels can significantly impact immune function, energy regulation, and overall health. In my somatic routines, I aim to guide toward shifting out of that high-alert state by activating the parasympathetic nervous system. This helps lower cortisol levels and allows the body to rest, digest, and heal. Your observation beautifully highlights how crucial it is to balance the nervous system for optimal well-being. Thanks for sharing your insights❤️
Somatic therapy is a science based approach to treat trauma, so yes. I’m glad you are here❤️ my advise is to be consistent with somatics (at least daily for a minimum of 6 weeks to see a first big shift in your nervous system! Be patient with yourself and remember you are not alone 🫶🏼
