I got this keyboard on a crazy sale at my local computer store like $180 off. So I snagged it. I love it, the keys, the typing experience, if it was full price I wouldn’t even consider it
I have this.. the upgraded version of it and it's not worth it lol, my 50 USD Ajazz sounds and feels way WAAAAAAY better. -Oled already has burn-in after a week even though 25% brightness only and moving GIF -Oled is black and white - the pinging and rattles omg - the knob got poor design, you will always accidentally hit the Insert key, and hard to control the volume accurately -White LED is Reddish - The keycaps are too thin. - gasket performance is 0 - not hall effect switches even at this price point? lmfao - needs heavy modification for it to feel and sound better, you will have to replace ALL things from the Alu plate down to the silicon pad The only thing I liked on this keyboard is the unique keycap because it's a Tall cherry profile (its hella thin though)
Just so you know is most good keyboards are getting pretty pricy now yes I do hate it too but at minimum you will find good keyboards at around 100 to 200 USD
There's no worry about your red subpixels burning in on those screens, and even if those large pixels burned out they just aren't critical to using your pc. All my devices are OLED, but I can still see why some people might not feel comfortable doing that. I'm typing this on phone with burnt in signal and battery icons. 😅
most gaming laptops dont use oled because vrr is extremely hard to do on oled. if a laptop has vrr+oled its a miracle and that company spent tons of money trying to get oled working with vrr
Asus and the other major brands are actually unusually slow to the draw when it comes to keyboard features and trends sadly. The Asian market is light-years ahead in terms of prebuilt boards
For this price range, you get more features out of Wooting 60HE. Including rapid trigger switches that deactivates the key at the start of a depress instead of past the actuation point. And its factory lubed to sound great out of the box. I'd be curious to see you test it out and compare with your other keyboard experiences afterwards.
I can’t justify paying over £200 for just a keyboard when there are so many good mechanical keyboards out there that has similar functionalities and are far less cheaper
I recently purchased this keyboard with the blue switches and my godness its a 20/10 My only regret was not buying it in white version, my room is kinda dark and sometimes I cannot appreciate the look of the keyboard
Yeah weird it has a non-proportional wide font when the letters are all alone for the most part, then doesn't look well aligned for abbreviated titles on keys that aren't even big enough.
no it wont. Azoth sounds way better with different switches and tape mod etc. also that other keyboard is wired only in 2024 is laughable. ASUS Wireless solution is lower latency then wired now days. Look it up azoth wireless beat or matched the wired speed.
@@JamesMKE thanks for comment. I have both and prefer the leobog. The sound wins easily. I wouldn't mod the Asus either. I like the coiled wired look so I guess while you feel it's laughable I enjoy it. Also wired on both rated 1000hz the Asus wireless is 1700hz, not that the 700hz is noticeable but the wired is still faster. Asus still a good keyboard especially if you have the budget I just like the epomaker and leobog creations these days more cheers.
@fractalarbitrage brother you sound confused click latency and polling rates are two different things. Both contribute to overall system latency. The azoth is better for gaming and sounds great out the box or with minor mods. This is not a debate lol its already been tested. So no the wired is not faster. Stop saying that lol.
only thing that carries this kb is the screen, other than that it ain't better than wooting. Terrible software on top of that. Not to mention wooting came out with the 80he too? And then the 60he+ switches are more lubded than the 60he and it sounds way better. More cheaper mods and its simple to use. I was thinking about getting this but I didn't more research on it and nothin beats my woothang
I have ROG Claymore 1 and Red Dragon K530. The difference in quality between 2 keyboards is there... but it is not huge and definitely not refected in price. ROG stuff is extremely overpriced tbh. I mean it is in the brand name right ? Ridiculously Overpriced Gaming... Btw. Claymore was my 1st mechanical keyboard. Previously I was using membrane ones and I know one thing: I am NEVER going back to Membrane keyboards. I would rather use cheapest Mechanical one lol.
I wouldn't pay 200 225 for the keyboard. So, I found the black version on sale about a month ago on Amazon for 154.57!! Free shipping! Super thick and choonkey. Overkill for sure but it'll last me forever.
Unfortunately it gets like that when product channels get large enough. They get more and more items that on average are above the price considered affordable. 800$ mini PCs 200+$ keyboard 1000+ phones, tablets, and handhelds. Not ALL the time, but a lot. And only a small portion of videos is dedicated to anything affordable.
Been using mine since they came out in Jan of 2023. I actually just put in Akko Lavender V3 pros in yesterday. This is a great keyboard for gaming as it has very low latency wireless compared to any other keyboard. HE switches are overrated and so is Wooting.
I don't get the fascination of mechanical keyboards. All that clicking noise drives me crazy... needless to say, i didn't appreciate your sound test...let me know when you test a good keyboard with minimal to no sound.
@@Shmack_welp it's mostly plastic with bad quality keycaps, so kinda mid as for 200 you can get an qk75n or similar keebs that have back weight made completely out of aluminum that are a lot more premium

is it worth the 150 euros on black friday? how do you feel the keyboard after 2 months?
So 200 USD in the US and about 300 USD in Europe. No thanks.
Wow, that is way too much! For that price you can get 3 RK M75. They are almost the same but you don't have to use Asus broken Driver or Software!

I don't even know who uses those over home/end combination, that's really bizarre.

Why is it OLED? It’s so small that there’s no point in it being OLED over LCD.
Power draw. OLED draws way less power. Being wireless it needs to focus on battery life so less power draw is important.
