I recently visited the highly acclaimed Al Jawahar Restaurant near Jama Masjid with five of my friends, hoping for a memorable dining experience. We ordered 6 to 7 different dishes, expecting exceptional flavors from this well-known spot. Unfortunately, we were all thoroughly disappointed. None of the dishes tasted good, lacking the quality and flavors you'd anticipate from such a reputed establishment. Frankly, the hype surrounding Al Jawahar does not live up to reality. The food was unimpressive, and the overall experience left us regretting our choice. I’d strongly recommend exploring local eateries instead, as I am certain they offer much better taste and quality than what we encountered here. Save your time and money-skip Al Jawahar and savor some truly delicious food from local vendors.

The way you talk about their owners and feature them, it sometimes feels like sponsored content. Just a thought-maybe mix it up with more variety and places specially south India? I’ve had the Al Jawahar Nihari it’s not really that great. I think there would be better Nihari places in Delhi. I think you should visit Al Jawahar to have other food items like Qorma etc coz all their loyal customers were also having something different!

दोस्तों मैं दो बार गया और फिर मुझे किसी गेस्ट को ले जाना था तो सोचा एक बार ख़ुद जा कर देखू, एक बार फिर, लेकिन दोनों बार निराशा हुई। कैसे पहली बार मटन कुरमा लिया गोश्त कच्चा था। फिर एक बार मटन इस्टू लिया, सोचो पीस के नाम पे पाए वाली हड्डी यानी पाया को अलग करने के बाद जो सूप की जिसे गुड्डी बोलते हैं वो दी, और इस्टु में सिर्फ प्याज भरा पड़ा था यानी भुनी हुई प्याज़ की तरी और बिल एक रोटी के, और टीप के साथ 550/तब फैसला किया की गेस्ट को न लाने का, हो सकता है कि पहले ठीक होगा।
غالباً 1990 میں ھم نے بھی یہاں کھانا کھایا ھوا ھے۔ ریٹ ان کے کریم ھوٹل سے زیادہ تھے اور ذائقہ میں کریم ھوٹل سے کم معیار تھا۔ اس کے بعد پاکستان اور بھارت کے تعلقات ایسے نہ رھے کہ وزٹ ھو سکے۔ مگر وھاں کے مسلمانوں کے ماحول میں ایسا ھی محسوس ھوتا تھا جیسے آپ پاکستان میں ھی ھوں۔

Please ensure to mention the fat used by them. Palm and Vegitable Ghee... It would be nice and honest review. Korma and stew tasts like eating onion and fat and undercooked meat or chicken at the most yeah i know fat carries the flavour and armoa but ye kuch jyada hi ho gaya. Tandoori dishes and khameri are few good things by the way. Overall not a place for foodie but for food bloggers. Forgive me if i hurted the feelings.
