If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, then a Rosary a day keeps the devil away! Pray the Rosary everyday and watch what happens in your life, and especially your Spiritual life. Peace!

      John Fountain:
Praying to Mary does not keep the devil away.
The Bible says that the devil flees when the name of Jesus is spoken.
Jesus casts out demons, Mary’s name does not cast out demons.
Mary has absolutely no power to cast out demons nor save us from our sins.
The Catholic prayer Memorare to Mary says “mother I come to you, I stand before you sinful and sorrowful, do not dispose my petitions but hear and answer me”.
This prayer is absolute idolatry, and it is one prayer that Catholics do not want to admit exists because then they will have to take a real long look at their papacy.
No John, the devil is not afraid of Mary, the devil is petrified of Jesus because He conquered Satan, sin and death upon the cross, and His resurrection is the seal of approval from His Father who accepted His Son’s blood sacrifice to satisfy the Father’s anger against sin.

@@bornagainsaint1 Dont you have a y born again Chanels to visit instead of hanging around here and criticising?
      1. Mary's yes and unwavering obedience to God's request deserves our reverence.
      2. The Rosary is the gospel of Jesus Christ recited (I.e. biblical)
      3. As with the wedding at Cana so it is with us who turn to Mary for help. Her reply is "Do whatever he tells you" . She points us to Jesus.
      4. God told the serpent "I will put enmity between you and the woman, your seed and hers". Mary is "the woman".
      5. Jesus gave us his mother when he was hanging on the cross. John 19 25-29 (behold your mother).
It is all biblical. Perhaps and seeing as you have the right way, ask Jesus yourself.

    • @bornagainsaint1
      @bornagainsaint1 5 лет назад +2

      Stacey White:
Mary said yes as all believers say yes to the Lord.
Gen 3:13,15 and 16 talks about Eve being the woman, it’s not talking about Mary crushing Satan’s head, it is about Jesus crushing Satan’s head; besides in verse 16 it talks about this same woman Eve, and all women after her, giving birth to many children in pain, but the RCC teaches that Mary had no children after Jesus was born.
The rosary is not the gospel, the Bible is the gospel. Oh wait, the Bible is insufficient according to the Catholic magisterium.
At the wedding Mary said “do whatever He tells you to do”. Jesus said many times to pray ask seek and knock in His name only, not in Mary’s name.
Jesus told John to take care of Mary as his mother, He didn’t tell me that Mary is my mother.
There’s no way that all these verses in Genesis 3 goes from Eve to Mary then back to Eve,
      these verses are about Eve.

@@bornagainsaint1 Again, I ask you, do you not have anywhere else to be but here? If...you do truly believe that we Catholics are wrong then you have many other and far more righteous options before you than criticising our beliefs. You could keep quiet and pray for us...like we do for the protestant church or you could possibly do your own investigation into why we believe these things. You do remember that Jesus also said "it's not what goes into a man that makes him unclean...its what comes out of his mouth" And, as protestants are well aware, there is a spirit of criticism so you may want to check that. We are Catholics...we believe what we believe.. .many of us left our Catholic faith and years later returned because we found nothing outside of it that could compare to it. From the Eucharist and Adorstion to the richness of her teachings. Also, please remember when Mary said yes to God she was also as yet still unwed. The level of faithfulness and trust she had to have to do that - many of us believers couldn't muster the strength for it. I have just one more question. How do you know that the Rosary isnt scriptural...Have you ever really looked at it, said it or taken it apart? From the Hail full of Grace...which is how the Angel Gabriel addressed her...to the very end. And the meditation on some part of Jesus life contained in the gospel. You have never read the prayer or said it. You haven't investigated it...its no difference to me saying I dont like Japan - I've never been there, I've not experienced Japan. How would I know?

I grew up in a very relaxed catholic family but fell away. I became an atheist and had bought into a secular buddhist meditation practice. I kept up this practice for a long time but it never fulfilled me. Everything felt empty and on the inside I was an emotional wreck. I just hid it from everyone. I drank a lot and hung out with drug users. Used some drugs myself. about a year and a half ago I began praying the Rosary. Idk why I did but it felt meditative sort of like my buddhist practice and so I kept doing it. I began to have serious doubts about my atheism and it was not long after that I came back to the Catholic Church. I am happier than I have ever been and have found purpose in my life. Thanks to the Rosary! Ave Maria!

When you pray do not be like the hypocrites for they love to stand in the synagogue and on street corners for men to see for I tell you the truth they have gotten their reward in full and when you pray go in your room close the door and pray to the father who was unseen for he sees what is done in secret and will reward you and when you pray don't keep babbling like the pagans for they think they will be heard because of their many words do not be like them for the father knows what you need before you ask him. [Eight months later ...]
I was an Anglican when I began praying the Rosary. I was raised a "low church" Anglican, but by the time I got married I called myself an "Anglo-Catholic".
The first time I was given a Rosary (a "finger-Rosary) I was shocked at my response. Part of me was almost expecting to be hit by lightning!
It took me 15 years before I finally came home to The Catholic Church.
Now I try to pray the Holy Rosary every night. I only miss, oh, 10% of the time (+/-). Occasionally I find myself in deep meditation ... and other times (more than meditation) my mind wanders.
      God be with you Dan.

As a Catholic Christian and a Knight of Columbus,
I consider the Holy Rosary as a spiritual sword 🗡️ and ready to do battle against satan and his diabolical minions. One of the Champions of the Holy Rosary that inspired me to pray the Holy Rosary and that was Bartolo Longo who was born and raised in a Catholic household but unfortunately he made a pact with Satan and became a satanic priest but he realized that making a pact with Satan was a big mistake and he decided to come back to the Catholic faith. And I myself was fallen away Catholic as well but after graduating from highschool, I came back to the Catholic faith and decided to renew the faith and take it more seriously. And the Holy Rosary itself has helped me get through hardships such as when I was a victim of COVID-19 and identity theft. And yes, Satan enjoyed making my life miserable but I wasn't going to let him continue because I began praying the Holy Rosary and hoping that I wouldn't go through anymore hardships and misfortunes.

I traveled and worked hard as a Brazilian Army officer for the last 15 years in my life until I was summarily excluded for health reasons. After many problems related to physical exhaustion, I got cardiac, neurological and psychiatric problems. I have always loved God and even though I was far from the Holy Catholic Church, I did not believe in her holiness anymore, I returned to her and began to pray the rosary every night. I ask you to pray a rosary so that my life returns to make sense: the love of my relatives who abandoned me, to obtain a decent job where I can with my qualifications have a normal source of sustenance ... because I often cry asking to Heavenly Father why I have suffered so much if I have always tried to be fair, balanced and good ... at times I have tried suicide and I still live only because the medicine base is contained. I need help because I ended up becoming bipolar (syndrome). I feel fears and cry a lot. May the Father, our Lord Christ and the Virgin Mary have pity on me. I need Spiritual Love and Forgiveness. Pray a rosary for me, for the purpose of my rearing for life. Fernando - Brazil.

I"m new in traditionnal Catholicism, I live far away from the nearest church in which traditional masses are organised. So, I try to get informations about the Rosary. Someone told me a bit about it recently, he said he prays the Rosary every day, he's deeply faithful and love the Church. I remember about six ou seven months ago, as I visited a chapel dedicated to Mary, I decided suddenly to pray for him and for his conversion as he was a Communist then, even if he was somehow attracted by faith, I guessed he could be a sincere Catholic. Then I asked Mary to help him to find his way to real conversion and I prayed. To be honest, I don't know why I decided to have such wishes but a few weeks later he said that he was reading the Aquinas and other Catholic books of theology and said he was found of it, then he talked about Jesus-Christ with real devotion. Recently, I learnt that he had left Marxism and became a traditional Catholic, he feels so happy with these achievements that he told me how much he love the Church and how beautiful it is to worship Jesus-Christ. His conversion is a complete achievement. Then I realised that my wish was accomplished by Mary but ignoring that my prayer and wish - asking for someone else salvation - is the greatest act of charity. I will never forget it, I don't want to praise myself but truly happy that some people return to true Catholicism in a period of darkness and evil. A great hope for the future.

Hello Mary can you inform us where in the official teachings of the Catholic Church that it endorses idolatry? If you are unable to do so don't you think that you owe ForestAngel 04 an apology for your libellous comments directed at him. You do know that Catholic Christian beliefs forbid idol worship yet persist with the same narrative.
If you only accept what is written in your bible then how do you explain why the Holy Spirit guide St Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:14 that both oral tradition and written tradition have validity? Either the Holy Spirit got it wrong and scripture alone(without the oral tradition)is true or the Holy Spirit got it correct therefore scripture alone is wrong

    • @bornagainsaint1

      barry mcgrath:
The Catholic Church has a list of hundreds of patron saints in which catholics pray to for whatever they need help for.
Isn’t this idolatry, doesn’t this endorse idolatry?
Jesus taught us to pray, He said Our Father....
He didn’t say Our Patron Saints.
2 Thess 2:14 doesn’t mention anything about Catholic oral traditions.

    • @bornagainsaint1

Before you can use scripture to support catholic oral traditions, you must first list those catholic traditions that Paul approved of.
The only time when Catholics grab for the Bible is when they want to use it to support their unbiblical man made traditions.

As you only go by the Bible how can you comply with 1 Tim 3:15 ? The Catholic Church doesn't teach Mary worship.Your history it's in reverse the bible as you know it came after the church like 350 years by the way we worship the Holy Trinity alone.

    • @bornagainsaint1
      @bornagainsaint1 7 лет назад

+Barry McGrath: Are you saying the bible was written 350 years after the catholic church was officially established? 1 Tim 3:15 says the church of the Living God is the pillar and ground of truth. The truth is Jesus, His blood sacrifice saves us from hell. Verse 16 says God came in the flesh, justified by the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory. Your church teaches that the pope is the final word, when in fact Jesus Himself said, My word is truth. The catholic church claims they wrote the NT and then put it all together, but this same church denies sola scriptura. HYPOCRITES !! The names that appear above each book in the NT was written by that person, not by the catholic church.

    • @bornagainsaint1
      @bornagainsaint1 7 лет назад

      barry mcgrath:
the bible was written before the catholic church ever came along.
Peter and Paul wrote letters to the churches that were already beginning to form.
John also wrote letters to the churches described in Rev.
All these letters are in the NT.
And these letters were written before the catholic church started.
So yes, the bible existed before the catholic church ever did.

Before I became Catholic I was Anglican, and we considered ourselves Anglican Catholics s we had Mass..and we said the Rosary, and I remember Father Goodwin who was the Priest, was upset with me becoming Catholic; and he said why do you go to Rome for what we have here?
So I'm just passing that on. Before I could not receive Holy Communion unless before 12am Saturday night I had said a set of prayers ...a book about a half an inch thick and I had to fast and we didn't receive communion till like 11:30m, and I always remember that I was very hungry! LOL. So just sharing that... my sister and I both became Catholics; and I love my Faith very dearly, but I also loved my Anglican Faith, and one of the reasons that I converted to the Roman Catholic Church was so that my husband and I could get up in the morning with the kids, and go to the same Mass. Also there was another reason. When it was Winter and I lived on Long Island, then Father Goodwin had told us to go to Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, if we couldn't get to the Church in Amityville; at least we've gone to Mass, but not to receive Communion ~ so that's what I did on and off of 6 years . And I know the eyes of the Lord we're watching this young girl from 14 to 20 years old going in the winter to this Church .... Ummm. But of course I embrace my Faith with all my heart, and the Rosary is very, very special, More Than Words Can Say. I know in my heart that our Lady loves us to say this, but I wanted to mention that, that in the Anglican Church the Rosary was no stranger to us, or Devotion to our Lady. Ok, my dears, God bless with love and prayers, everyone.💞🙏😇😄🌹

I'm a man and I have prayed the Rosary daily since my very early 20's. Was a moment of conversion for me the very first time I prayed it. The Holy Spirit or Jesus or Mary or My Angel was there at that moment and it was very powerful for me. I have labored in vain for 4 decades to get any of my four sisters to pray the Rosary. They have all pretty much Apostasized.

Holy Rosary is the powerful exorcism prayer for casting out hundreds or thousands of demons repeated many times as demons roaming all over the houses & outside churches as protestants ignore this powerful prayer against batallions of demons. Protestants prayer intented only for personal prayer connection to Jesus for only individual person, not universal. Protestants never understand how to fight hundreds or thousands of demons seeking millions of lost souls. Let us all pray the Holy Rosary to assist Michael the Archangel to fight all demons.

You do realise that you are contradicting your bible. If the bible "tells us Everything about Jesus". John 21:25 disagrees with you. The bible itself does not use the term Hypostatic union, yet you believe in it because if you don't you cannot be a Christian. The Jehovah witness deny the divinity of Jesus Christ that is why they aren't Christian.
The Hypostatic union concerns itself about the nature of Jesus Christ that He is 100%(God and man). Mary I suggest that you buy a Catechism of the Catholic Church and then you can read its teachings and decide if you want to belong with the 10s of millions who hate the Catholic Church for what they wrongly believe that the church teachings are. Read David Curries book "Born fundamentalist born again Catholic "

I suggest that you read Genesis 3 if there is enmity between the woman and the serpent then she was never under his dominion . If the BVM was a sinful creature then you are saying that the N/T Ark is inferior to the O/T predecessor and if that was true why would you accept the message of the N/T? The 16th century reformers NEVER challenged the importance of the BVM in scripture. The fact that you can read your bible doesn't mean that you understand it in context. There are more than 30,000 "churches " reading the same bible and disagree with each other about what the bible teachings are.

+Sensus Fidelium: Jesus offered the ultimate sacrifice for sinners - Himself. There is nothing we can do to pay for the sins of the world, Jesus did it. But sadly the catholic church believes that we can save sinners with our own bodily sufferings.

    • @bornagainsaint1

+luc Dauvin horseshoer: Jesus is always there providing a way for me and my family when times are rough and when times are peaceful. My sufferings do not complete what He suffered in the cross for atonement of sin. Paul was talking about the misery that believers go thru at the hands of those who hate Jesus. The suffering continues because of those who have faith in Jesus. My sufferings do not match the same sufferings that Jesus accomplished on the cross, He suffered for sin, believers suffer at the hands of those who hate Him. We also suffer because of the sins we commit. Jesus committed no sin, He suffered terribly for our sake. We could not suffer enough for sin and then call it atonement. Jesus did not suffer for baptized believers only. He also suffered for those who repent on their deathbed without baptism, He also suffered for babies who are aborted or who die soon after birth. Baptism does not make anyone an automatic guarantee candidate for heaven.

    • @bornagainsaint1
      @bornagainsaint1 7 лет назад

+Luv Dauvin Horseshoer: Our sufferings are a testimony proclaiming Jesus is the only way. We have no right to boast and bragg about our sufferings, we must boast and bragg about Jesus' suffering and mercy for us. Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit to comfort us and to bring to remembrance all of what He did and said. Jesus said absolutely nothing about Mary, He told John to take care of her. But Jesus never said anything about her as the catholic church has and still does. This is shocking to know but when you read the bible, the truth is Jesus never once said any thing about Mary. People
in the crowd tried to praise her but Jesus said NO. If she was born without sin and lived a perfectly sinless life then Jesus would have certainly praised her and He would have prayed to her instead of praying to His Father.

Worship of the BVM is idolatry that is why the Catholic Church does not Teach it at any time in its history. When you check your O/T bible you see Moses act as with intercession between God and the Jewish people e.g. 10 commandments written by God on the tablet followed by Moses delivering to the people of God. If you don't like intercession then you should have a problem with Rev 5:8 in your N/T bible

No, your prayers are neither worthless nor displeasing to Our Lady. Keep praying the Rosary everyday. Find a copy of "The Secret of the Rosary" by St. Louis de Montfort. In fact, that wonderful Saint has many wonderful books on Our Lady, and will give you tips for how to say a more devoted Rosary, but take heart, your prayers are not said in vain. ;-)

Ask Our Lady for the grace to pray your Rosary. St. Francis De Sales says it is best to pray in the morning. But either way, ask Our Lady to help. The evil one is trying to get you to stop. Don't allow those thoughts to distract you or keep you from praying the Rosary. Your prayers are valuable and give Jesus great joy when you honor His Mother Mary. Keep persevering. Nothing delights the evil one more than when a soul puts down the Rosary. Ask for help as a child would as their mom for help. Mary will help you!

The minimum is a 5 decade Rosary but you are free to add more after all as our lady of Fatima said that souls are being lost because there is no one to make prayer and sacrifices for them. If you get the chance you can always add the chaplet prayer of Divine Mercy or the St Michael chaplet novena of the Holy souls etc

there arre actually 4 mysteries of the most holy rosary. He didn't mention the Luminous Mysteries or the Mysteties of light. i believe Our Blessed Mother gave this mystery to Pope John Paul II who had a strong devotion to the rosary & Our Lady. if anyone knows more about the origin of the Luminous Mysteries please share...

There is no documentation stating Our Lady gave St. Pope John Paul ll the Luminous Mysteries. In his encyclical on the Rosary, he made it an option. He put these together to focus on the milestones of Jesus's life. I think it was to bring new focus on the life of Christ. The Luminous Mysteries are the Baptism, The Wedding at Cana, The Proclamation of the Kingdom of God, The Transfiguration, and The Institution of the Euchrist. I don't say those mysteries, only because they are not part of the original ones given to St. Dominic by the Virgin Mary herself. But if I am in a group setting, and it is prayed, I will join in.

+Jon Seversike -Your absolutely right!... Do not pray the Luminous "Illuminati" Mysteries. John Paul II didn't get a mystical private revelation from our Holy Mother. It was a deliberate distortion of the true devotion. Keep thy true traditions true faith true church established by our Lord Jesus Christ passed down to the Apostles and so on... HeLp SaVe SouLs....

MaRiA CoNcEpCiOn RiVaS No, it wasn't a deliberate distortion of the Rosary. St. Pope John Paul ll added these mysteries to focus and meditate on the life of Jesus during his ministry. He said himself these were optional in his encyclical on the Rosary. St. Pope John Paul ll had a deep devotion to Mary and prayed the Rosary constantly. I believe his deep love and devotion to Our Lady is why he was quickly made a saint of the church. I believe he is an example of what Our Lady does for those who truly love Jesus through his Holy Mother Mary. "Totus Tuus." That was his motto for Mary.

+Maria Elena -Issue is that Pope St. John Paul II alludes that the Rosary is stale. He hints at this by his assessment that adding these decades would breathe “fresh life” into the practice.
A better way to breathe “fresh life” is to emphasize how wonderful the Rosary is and how much better your faith will be for it. Get people to pray the Rosary out of love for Jesus, Mary and the Church. Its a very modernist tactic to suggest that what Mary gave us is no longer good. HeLp SaVe SouLs...

Correction Jesus sinless pure guiltless nature.

Mary I recognise your zeal for Jesus Christ and know for sure that you would not intentionally deny insult Him, and yes I also see the anticipation of words in these sites sometimes they are helpful and at other times a nuisance.

@bornagainsaint1 You certainly have a zeal for Christ! I do pray that you may not slander Jesus' mother in doing so though. Jesus gives power to Mary, as He does to His disciples, even through Mary's soul in Heaven, which is why Catholics pray for her intercession. It's not worship, but honor for her. We worship the Giver of Graces (Jesus), not the receiver.

Ummmm there are 4 sets of mysteries in the Rosary not 3.

Hi bear, Actually; the rosary that the Blessed Virgin gave Saint Dominic has 3 sets of 5 mysteries. The Blessed Virgin herself spoke of the 15 mysteries, not the 20. JPII added the 4th mystery to make it more "modern" and it is completely optional. In my most humble opinion the 4th mystery breaks the continuity of the rosary and the rosary was not in need of improvement. There are specific reasons the original rosary has 15 mysteries and not 20. I leave you peace. TL

@@tl7876 wow kinda rude there buddy. Everyone already knows the rosary had 3 original sets and that Pope Saint JPII( please show proper respect) added the 4th. Why do you feel 3 is better than 4? More prayers are always better. Personally I've added extra prayers even with the 4th set. I'm pretty sure our lady will always welcome more prayers.

Yes, but the men died...has anyone gotten a miracle, from praying the rosary...I notice that rosary is not for miracles but sacrifice from us...so if sick no miracle for you, its a sacrifice from you, someone in family dying, too bad it's a sacrifice...so it's not to help us here on earth, but after the life after. It's a prayer that we are asking God forgiveness so he allows us to enter heaven..sorry that's how I see it
