The rosary was also the weapon used when the Protestant Dutch Republic tried to invade Manila, Philippines in 1646. Combined Spanish and Filipino forces sought the intercession of Our Lady in a battle just like the battle of Lepanto in 1571. The Spanish and Filipino naval forces won against the more superior Dutch invading forces in a victory that could only be called miraculous. Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of La Naval de Manila became patroness of the country's national capital, Quezon City in 1973. She also became the patroness of the Philippine Navy in 1975. Her image is at the Sto, Domingo church in Quezon City.

“On April 6, 1647, the Father Friar Diego Rodriguez, O.P., Procurator-General of the Dominican fathers, on behalf of the religious Order, duly requested the vicar of the Diocese of Manila to declare that the victories achieved in the year 1646 had been miraculous intercession of the Virgin of the Rosary.
The City Council took into account the three following circumstances to declare the victories as miraculous:
- That only fifteen soldiers died on the side of the Spanish troops;
- That the two ships mentioned were already very old and powerless to do battle and;
- That the soldiers, who sought Divine assistance by means of devoutly praying the Holy Rosary in choirs, attributed the victory they achieved to God through the intercession of Our Lady of the Rosary.
“On April 9, 1652, the battles of 1646 were declared miraculous by the Venerable Dean and Chapter and Ecclesiastical Governor in the vacant See of the Metropolitan Church of Manila.”

The biggest battle and challenge I’m going through is identity theft. And why is that? Well a couple of weeks I received a letter from the small business administration saying that I took out a financial loan which I never did. And in the past few days, I’ve been receiving phone calls and voicemails insisting that I did. But again, I never did. So with the help of the Holy Rosary and it’s sacred mysteries, I’m sincerely hoping and praying that I’ll get this identity theft situation settled and resolved right away and hopefully I won’t go through this mess again in the future. And hopefully the attorney general of my home state of CT will help me out as well. Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, pray and intercede for us. Saint Dominic, pray and intercede for us. Amen.

Forgive me heavenly father i sometimes dont pray the rosary as i should. Please pray for me to pray the rosary every single day
When you don't have the time to pray the rosary, or maybe don't really feel like praying it , pray it little by little , for example one day pray one mystery maybe two, take it a little at a time eventually our Lady will give you the grace to pray it in its entirety and every day ! And don't let distractions discourage you we all have them when praying , my priest suggested that I say before each rosary , " I renounce all the distractions that come to me while I am saying this rosary ". So please continue to pray it a little at a time , and whatever you do , DON'T EVER STOP SAYING YOUR BEADS ! May our Lady and our Lord bless you .

Btw, our Lady did not die. She was assumed into heaven. When her tomb was opened to let St. Thomas say goodbye to her, the tomb was empty. Please don't call the Mother of Jesus a dead woman. That is very disrespectful to her and to Jesus. She is not just any woman. She is the Mother of God. She deserves respect and veneration.
My heart goes out to that beautiful child, fully developed, cruelly murdered. Doctors and nurses knowingly commit heinous crimes. A graphic picture seen in a Church Porch by a teenager prevented her from murdering her child thru abortion in later years when she became pregnant.

You should not show that graphic scene of the murdered baby without a warning. Young kids end up seeing it. I know you’re trying to make a point, but I don’t think it’s right for you to show something that violent and graphic without at least warning people beforehand. Seems irresponsible.

The commander of the Venice one Sebastiano Vernier . And Venice and Genova was enemy . So its true that due holy league wasn't very united .
