I love when Dany sings, "I don't mean to make you nervous" while she nervously retrieves her slide from the mic stand. After all, figuring out how to switch from her usual guitar playing style to adding the slide was one of the reasons they hadn't played "Apologize" live yet. There was a glance between Ale and Pau as Dany was introducing the song that seemed to say, "Well, here goes nothing. I hope it works." While I wish they were able to have a keyboard on stage for the coda at the end of the song, I think their choice worked well. I was lucky enough to be four people from the stage at this performance and noticed all of the by-play (glances between Pau and Ale along with Dany's nervous fumbling to place her slide on the correct finger). Their performance that night was electric despite their admitted fatigue after so much touring.
What a great show and it was so cool to see them debut this song. They just covered Alanis Morissette's 'You Oughta Know" for Sirius XM and crushed it. The Don-music channel has the best version. He enhanced the bass a little and Ale's work deserved to stand out.
Grammys snubbed the Warning's Keep Me Fed, Warning army should write letters to the Grammy org in protest. The Grammys keep nominating rock bands that are 30-40 years old! Time for Change!
Is this Pau’s measured assessment of those involved in deciding the Rock and Metal categories without including The Warning? - Apologize.
i was 2 people to the right of the camera. The entire show was fantastic. They sounded great, they performed great!
