This and Ukulele de Chocobo are the two most relaxing Chocobo themes in the series.
Chocograph is the Best chocobo mini games, and is actually tied to the moogle quest and an optional boss. Which is brillant
Mini-games, especially those that take a lot of time like Chocobo Hot & Cold, are something that I loved as a kid with all the time in world. As an adult, I just can't be bothered for almost any of them anymore. I've done all of Chocobo Hot & Cold twice, and most likely never will again, which is a shame, because it's fun. There's just too much randomness, and it creates a timesink. Just hearing this music is even preparing me to get the game started and rock out to Vamo'alla Flamenco.
This, along with Breezy from Final Fantasy VIII, are both beautiful to play on guitar. Their gentle rhythmic progression is easy to approach for beginners and intermediates alike.
RNG Chocobo digging is pain
Zidane "Hey, did a cute girl with long hair come by here?"
Mene "No. But ugly girl came by here."
Everyone in IX says that Garnet is the most beautiful in the world, and yet only this Moogle calls her "ugly". Unless he was actually talking about Steiner, which just adds more confusion since Garnet should have been with him. (This is even said by them later!) Mene isn't going to mention a second person?
Zidane "Oh... I guess she didn't come this way."
"Maybe she's heading toward Burmecia after all... I'd better get movin'."
…And of course Zidane isn't going to grill or question Mene some more about Garnet and just jumps to conclusions, because no one has any common sense and the plot inconveniences are through the roof here.
I mean, the Moogle finds her ugly, and didn't mention Steiner because Zidane specifically asked about a girl. I don't think anyone would grill a stranger with multiple questions about someone they're looking for, either. Couldn't you also say that Zidane's impulsiveness is a part of his character?
@@AnaverdGaiden It’s dumb contrivances for a subplot that never should have happened in the first place, Garnet was being an idiot.
And besides, Zidane should have been way more concerned about the girl he loves and made absolutely sure which way she was going.
@@Zelink108 Can you really criticize a story for having the characters be flawed and make mistakes, though? I personally find stories about flawed people much more interesting than ones where the characters are all perfect and boring. Flaws make them feel more human.
@@AnaverdGaiden There is a right way and a wrong way to do character flaws, and Garnet clearly falls into the latter. Flaws have to make sense, be believable and be executed well, which Garnet’s were not. If there is being too perfect, then there is being too flawed, and Garnet is WAY too flawed. Garnet pushed “naïve princess” to insane levels, it’s implausible and really really cliché.
Also, flaws have to be treated as FLAWS by the narrative, the problem in IX is that it doesn’t treat Garnet as having flaws. The Narrative actually acts
like she was completely “in the right” we are supposed to be feeling “sympathy” for her, when it did nothing to make her sympathetic. She just comes off as a selfish spoiled brat who care more about her psycho mother (whom she wanted to ESCAPE from in the first place) than she does about Zidane, the man who loved and protected her, and her friends whom she all ungratefully drugged and abandoned. The narrative tries to make her out to be a “victim” in all of this when her actions caused a lot of negative consequences. Not even Zidane gets upset with her, when he really rightfully should, with everything that he did for her, only for her to decide to blow him off the first chance she got.
I remember I have grinded Robe of Lords on PlayStation 1 in first Chocobo Forest.
I really glad they added Speed Up in remaster.
Wait, was it? That's such a random place for them to develop it xD
Man, someday this channel is gonna get to Crazy Chocobo and I don't know if I'm mentally prepared for that.
🐣
FF IX has so many of my favorites
peaceful, soothing to the heart....
AND THEN THE MINI GAME BEGINS!
I forget how wonderful this soundtrack was, it really touched all kinds of genres of music
Choco is with me Kupo 🎈🐱
Kweh
I feel I missed a lot now that I'm at Mt Gulug yet I only found the treasure of the first chocograph
Awesome [Video Soundtrack] Aloha de Chocobo [FINAL FANTASY IX] Video.
🌌🐤🌌
such a nice song!
Worst way to get ultimate weapons tbh, would’ve preferred to defeat a superboss
