@@calebbaxter2002 yeah I know. It's a shame because Doctor Doom is perfectly set up in the MCU so I have no idea how he's going to work if he's also from a different world. So what he just takes over a random country that's even weirder. Still they will eventually get to the MCU and hopefully by then you see the friendship if not then what's the point.

@@calebbaxter2002 yeah they got so many more hurdles to jump now it's in a different world. Like I'm sure they have thought about it but the F4 were perfectly set up in the main MCU with SWORD space station and Avengers Tower for them and for Doom Sokavia and what happened in Age of Ultron is the perfect excuse to explain his power over that land.
@@mahiyatsafiyullah7103maybe if he gets misplaced from his world, tries to travel to where his elseworld home was (Latveria but now in the main MCU), sees it unstable or imperialized and he “liberates it” leaving him as the new ruler that’s viewed as a savior until he becomes more like a dictator overtime

I love Joseph, but I don't see him as Johnny, so I'm hoping to be wrong when the film comes out.

@erikwebber6038 it's not even his natural hair. The picture alone with him in costume with the blonde hair, doesn't do it for me. The man isn't a blonde, period. And those big puppy brown eyes, isn't Johnny. He's just a real mismatch for me. I would've went with someone else entirely. Honestly, I prefer unknows. I think Unknows would've been better.

Fantastic 4 has always been my favorite super hero team from my childhood. Yes, over the justice league, teen titans, avengers, and x men. O hope this movies does well and become the next avengers (movie success wise)

I prefer someone who havent read the comic though. The problem having too much knowledge of the character, the actor may try to portray it like a comicbook character which is difficult and statistically speaking, most of the time, it wouldn’t pan out great. Having less of knowledge will give more room for their own interpretation.
I don't care if the actors have read the comics, I mean it helps but who cares, I do care about the writers and directors tho

@@tylergracyne2511 it's not about needing to be a fan it's about respecting and understanding the source material and respecting the fans that want the role to be portrayed the way it should be. If you don't at least read/watch/play a little bit of your source material in preparation of the role out of simply wanting to get it right for people who ARE fans then you arent doing your job right.
Everyone and their mother is probably asking him about the film and joining the MCU so he’s clearly getting sick of it. Also could be nervous about spoiling something. Last thing he would want is to join the MCU and screw up immediately and become Tom Holland 2.0
@@wrathoftheflyingspaghettim850 not really no. Unless you’re doing stage, you don’t really need a comprehensive guide to the source character. I’ll make an example: if you’re playing hamlet, you NEED to have read the play. There’s no ways around it. Because the script IS the play. But if you’re in an adaptation, the work of understanding the original character’s motivations, the way they act, etc, is largely not your job. You certainly CAN if you want, but thats not your job. It’s the director, writer and playwright’s jobs to ensure all these ideas come out in the script and then in the DIRECTION of the scenes you’re in. You could be the best fan of the source material and still fail because of the lack of work those people put into those elements. Your job as an actor is to do what the script says as convincingly as possible. Do not mistake me, if you’re genuinely a fan of or are interested in the source material, I’m not saying having background there should be discouraged. Iman Vellani is a clear example of someone who fully GETS this world and her work is better for it, but that shouldn’t be a universal experience for performers. Quinn is a great actor, one who’s played the Johnny Storm template enough in the past that I don’t doubt he could do it. I’m just not convinced he’s a fan of the source material and I’m irritated that he’s pretending to be (and I’m irritated that he feels he’s forced to act that way because fans have irrational standards for screen actors).
Don’t get me wrong I like the actor but he looks more like Pedro’s Reed than Vanessa’s Sue which doesn’t really work for me. Unless they’re making them half siblings they should’ve gotten someone closer in looks to Vanessa. I think he might have been up for Mr Fantastic and was given Johnny instead.
U think siblings have to look similar?

@@elisitbon4672 If you’ve read the books, then you’d know Johnny and Sue practically look like twins. And as for every set of siblings I know, they always have at least one physical feature in common, whether it’s similar eyes, similar nose, similar hair, similar cheekbones, one similar thing that carries between them. Those two don’t look alike at all.

From the comics the film is going to be based off of from what marvel posted, their universe is going to die , but they are gonna be implanted into the main MCU probably after secret wars. And with a group and cast like this and Pedro going to be one of the new faces of the MCU, I highly doubt it’s gonna be a one and done.
