The one wheel and electric unicycles have steep learning curves, and most in the market for those are seeking speed. I sold my MiniPro and can't justify buying another for slow speed (the Segway PT travels up to 12.5 mph), already dated camera electronics (1080p?) and for me, non-practical robotics.
wow this shit actually can grow just like drone. later getting smarter and smarter. would probably could find its own charge station and charge itself. can mount varieties of accessories. more agile, more faster, more distance. it can be a model for future physical assistant.
I’ve ridden the Segway ninebot plus. If this could go just a little faster, I’d buy it. Maybe just 15-17mph and that would be an extremely solid jump in day to day useability and transportation.
Sorry but this is not worth $1,800.00. It’s a Segway ninebot minipro with a camera head mounted on it. I’ve seen some reviews where this “Robot” is very clumsy. I would not pay $1,800.00. May be worth around 1,000.00 but then again, I still wouldn’t buy it for even $1,000.00.🙄 Just my opinion. I enjoy riding my Ninebot minipro for only $400.00! Same thing as the robot for getting around. It just doesn’t talk to you. 😂 Love my ninebot minipro so much, I bought 2!😊

Segway was purchased by a Chinese company called Ninebot. Since then, Ninebot has expanded the line with lesser quality electronic rideables and plastered the Segway name on them. The original Segways are still available but as always are out of most casual users' budget range and ion the age of smart rideables, are dated and slow. However, they are leaps and bounds above Ninebot's 'toys' in quality. I owned a Segway i2 for about ten years. I sold it and got a Segway MiniPro. Sold that and have the Segway Drift W1s now (because they didn't respond to my return request).
