Looks like they are out now on Amazon for about $2400. I'm looking for a companion type robot to mess around with that would be upgradable and or modifiable. I don't mind building one as a DIY but for this price it might be a waste of time and money to DIY considering this bot is "off the shelf". I'm all for easier. I would like to know more about all the add on accessories . I love dogs but Holy Crap they can have expensive vet bills and can break your heart. I don't trust anyone or anything to be around my pup and best friend. It would be really cool to see how the public reacts to (off the leash robots) . I'm very interested but I wish the price didn't go up so much.
now just imagine an amplified version of the wireless charging dock but for this... and it only takes 34 more hours to charge jk lol say maybe 2 more hours to charge longer then the wired charger takes :P with the sensor that protects the battery from over charging etc. :-D just imagine having a small stage for your Segway to stay on RGB color smart lighting, nice customizable sounds chimes etc sound effects for certain tasks, and one special one when you let the robot sleep :D and, a place to lean it on so it stays up just right. If it had an auto park feature for the Segway that automatically directs it to the charging station by 1 voice command, the Segway automatically switch's to "go home" it automatically goes to its charging dock and leans into the support thing, and shuts down to charge, all in one command, what if you could schedule this command to occur automatically when connected to your WIFI it takes control hangs out with you and automatically parks itself, periodically looks around picks up stuff small light objects only of course, and just sort of juggles your laundry or other objects nothing on a desk just the floor in designated zones etc oh does this thing have arms that retract and can juggle because it can balance right? can it calculate laundry juggling it can track people already right? and the bot what if it had a built in scale not 100% accurate but as close as can be to determine if what its choosing to juggle is to heavy or not" games have pre programmed characters your playing as, that suddenly sit down when you haven't touched the controls for to long maybe they take their hat off and flip it a few times just automatic preset decisions but with the ability to adjust is this possible with a robot at all yet? check RUclips, there's a video of a couple different juggling robots not perfect but its a good start. just imagine the possibilities what if, instead of a wireless charger, a retractable port with a door that can but unlocked manually incase mechanics stop functioning, and in this retractable port it extends downwards and exposes its copper connections to begin charging, there should be a camera with a dim light it can use to see with pointing down so it can line up properly and park on its charging dock/stage what if you could text your bot lmao just for the ones that are really really bored XD order door dash on the bot
Is there anyway to turn off big brother like the wifi or bluetooth? For me it's a deal breaker since they'll be gathering info on you if it's spying on you. Like that you can ride it too, but I'd like something that has arms so it can do chores or something. But like Alexa and Ok Google I'm sure it spies on you.
