The sheriff over the county that I live in in Oklahoma was actually at this protest riot. He was on TV stating that he didn’t see any violence at all. Those without Civics classes have come to believe freedom of speech means a person can say anything a person wants. Freedom of speech meant, to those who created the Bill of Rights, the FREE EXCHANGE of ideas without fear of arrest. One of my cousins infiltrated the clan, and what happens is this: when citizens are hurting (job losses, loosing rank at work) via downward economic mobility, they are drawn into the Klan. Fear, frustrations, anger can be used by extremists to recruit new members, where they discover a sense of purpose, power, pride, and are pointed at a supposed enemy by the group leaders. Simply improving jobs, job security, and income can cool the rage. Better still would be worker ownership of businesses and a new view in America of equity and societal good vs gross inequality and hyper individualism. A stable enjoyable reality over Fantasyland.

With 2 kids and a deadbeat dad, I fought my way through 4 years of college to get a more stable life. A black man was killed by a policeman, then there were riots where buildings were set on fire and damaged, and people would walk into businesses to steal items. Many of the criminals involved traveled many miles to participate. These riots and thefts were called protests. In Minneapolis the police didn't try to stop this.

The sheriff over the county that I live in in Oklahoma was actually at this protest riot. He was on TV stating that he didn’t see any violence at all. How can you have been there and not seeing people climbing the capital building? I know that people are calling for his resignation and on TV he just blew it off like it’s no big deal. I don’t understand how he could’ve been there and not seen what was happening I don’t believe him I think he’s lying. If you are a person of color a Democrat a liberal or a Republican that does not align themselves with the Trump movement and you’re arrested in our county I don’t think you’ll get a fair shake. One of my cousins infiltrated the clan, and what happens is this: when citizens are hurting (job losses, loosing rank at work) via downward economic mobility, they are drawn into the Klan. Fear, frustrations, anger can be used by extremists to recruit new members, where they discover a sense of purpose, power, pride, and are pointed at a supposed enemy by the group leaders. Simply improving jobs, job security, and income can cool the rage. Better still would be worker ownership of businesses and a new view in America of equity and societal good vs gross inequality and hyper individualism. A stable enjoyable reality over Fantasyland.
You know what really pisses me off about this group. The insane amount of selfishness that makes them think they are the only ones who have experienced hard times, job losses, etc. For god's sake, I had to change careers three times in the 80s because of the oil bust and then changes in technology. With 2 kids and a deadbeat dad, I fought my way through 4 years of college to get a more stable life. So wah, wah, what a bunch of children stomping their way through life and taking it out on ... stay with me ... the very people who are trying to help their sorry butts. I've spent my adult life trying to help, trying to volunteer in places that could help people like them and this is the thanks I get for the hours and hours expended on programs they fight against and giving money I could barely afford. A black man was killed by a policeman, then there were riots where buildings were set on fire and damaged, and people would walk into businesses to steal items. Many of the criminals involved traveled many miles to participate. These riots and thefts were called protests. In Minneapolis the police didn't try to stop this.
