@@Hartzilla2007 Char won the 1-on-1 fight at the end of 0079 though. He destroyed the Gundam and beat Amuro at fencing.
WakaMei that sword fight seemed more of a draw, plus the Gundam was kind of showing it’s limits at that point.
@@Hartzilla2007 A draw? He left Amuro unable to fight anymore, having immobilised Amuro's dominant arm. He was lying in a corner bleeding. That was no draw.

A few moments after they arrive at A Baua Qu they find each other and spend the rest of that battle fighting each other. The Gundam had been serviced before the battle. If anything, the mech fight was closer to a draw.

I think it because of how the first gundam went a lot of people love most of zeon mobile suit and what help was one of it top ace Char Aznable fighting the gundam to a stand still in a suit the gundam was built to beat.
Feddies get some good stuff for Revil's speech.
I mean out of all the factions present throughout a lot of UC,Zeon is the most right. Not saying much but still. At they aren't Anaheim.
This song gets me pumped. My favorite use of this song is when Char takes gravitational force with a smile on his face as he charges into battle. . Inspiring as hell.

The moment when Char just stop to think and them become the Red Comet and CHALLENGE GOD always will be one of the most hyped and best scene I see in a Space Opera or animation in general. Is just so awesome and this track just get the moment better
Edit: I could say the same thing for the revolution scene. MAN THIS OVA IS JUST SO FUCKING GOOD
Seeing char truly become the red comet gave me chills, he lived up to the name and made himself one of, if not, the greatest mobile suit pilot of the one year war and for zeon, the fact that he took down 5 or more ships on his own, singlehandedly is by far the best feet yet. The battle of loom will always have the name tattooed and permanently attached to it, “Char aznable, The Red Comet”
I would not say "Challenge god", if I were you, I'd say "command the god". That's way more powerful.

Wow! I didn’t know the composer of Godzilla vs Spacegodzilla & Godzilla 2000 is doing the Mobile Suit Gundam The Origins Soundtracks. And now I know, it’s awesome.
He sure did! Recently he's also worked on the Godzilla anime trilogy and in the past worked on the "Space pirate captain Harlock: Endless Odyssey" anime~
He's an interesting composer with a lot of history (his predecessors were pioneers in Jazz and Opera I believe and his father composed music for Mugen no Ryuvius & Crest of the stars!)
I'm glad to see someone who appreciates his work ^^

This just implies that mobile suits go as fast as missiles and that's not okay.
@@hisoka6272 I don't think it was mentioned that these suits were faster than missiles since it was how their flight patterns were in avoiding the debris. Usually missiles fly in a straight path towards their target (though I think it's harder for guided missiles to work in UC because of the Minovsky Particles.) That's just my take on it of course.
@@Pilot231 That's fair. He immediately denied them being missiles, possibly off the speed alone. It's just the way he said it almost made it seem like he denied them being missiles because of their flight pattern and not because of their speed. The most logical conclusion to draw would be that he is stating that they are not missiles based off of speed, but also not cruisers or some other kind of ship or fighter. Leaving mobiles suits.

English dub took out the religious context for some reason.
Western audiences, according to some studios from the same regions, are apparently too sensitive to religious context and anything that might be, and I quote, "politically incorrect" in ANYTHING relating to animation. Case in point, Mobile Fighter G Gundam had God Gundam and Tequila Gundam. Both were changed to Burning Gundam and Horned Gundam respectively, the former because western religious people ***might***, and I strain the word might, get offended with God in ANY non-religious work while the later because it ***might*** offend any Mexicans watching. These are rather stupid issues, tbh. Hope that clarifies the issue.

Char is an illusive & charming ideal which exceeds expectations. His afterglow (Quattro and Char 2.0; ie CCA Char) were Casval's attempt at-

2: Pose as his former self to pull off the greatest one man feat ever-, or to make Amuro stop him.
Blah blah blah anyway "Char" is an icon where as the person behind the mask is a tragic figure forever cemented with the legacy of his accomplishments.

WakaMei I see, a bit confusing I must admit, I admire the whole package, Quattro, Casval, Full Frontal and Char all the same, cause in all of their respects they are badasses. I still see Char as Char but with the origin, it gives Char/Casval a new perspective as a character.

Ok, so my question after seeing Origin's take on Loum is how in the fuck people think Zakus and GMs are clunky and slow. We have standard Zaki IIs juking warships like DBZ fighters and Char's ComType fucking axe-kicking fighter craft in half. If that's what they're capable of, then the Gundam must look like some white blur to them.
its mostly new pilots that make them seem that way , the newer ms' are way more fluid but it always comes down to the pilot
On the ground they are clunky and slow, that's why the Federation could beat Zakus using AT weapons, tanks, and other conventional forces during Operation Odessa. But in space, there is no gravity, so mobile suits can go ham, especially with Minovsky particles intefering with targeting systems and such.
Bring it down to .75 speed and you can hear the original version.
It's true!! This version is about 30% faster than the first version. Bring it down to 75% and it sounds just like the first version.
Or you could just look it up one youtube like everyone else....

There is different work being done with the percussions in this one, strings are more vapid and there's an added electric guitar which wasn't present for the original Origin theme. Trumpets have been toned down to make way for the guitar too.
