It's very very long but there's a lot of independent gundam series without chronological order, you can watch Gundam 00, Gundam the witch of mercury, Gundam Iron blooded orphans (very good), and a lot of examples (all series with incredible animation from sunrise). Or u can search the U.C (universal century/original series universe) chronology.
If u watch only one, watch the original MS gundam. Even with my own personal bias, I can objectively guarantee you the original is the absolute best by far.

@@synysterpain A version of it plays in original show in the episode Lalah's Dilemma when Char and Lalah fight Amuro. However, for so some reason in the Dub you only get the instrumental version of it so you will have to watch it with Japanese audio to get the lyrics.
i believe Char during Chars Counter Attack was a beast but lacked the physical prowess he had during his youth with his Zaku as shown in this video. he didn’t push the MSN 04 Zasabi red lining it to the limit against RX-93 Nu Gundam and Amuro who was at the peak of his prime

I don't say that I dislike him there as a character it's just like a different person bec he wasn't like that in neither original Gundam nor Zeta.

he completely removed any speed/power limiter from mobile suits he pilots. Most of the time commander suits are also slightly upgraded version of normal units.
Char's Zaku was modified so that it could output 3x the amount of fuel in it's thrusters (hence why it's 3 times faster), otherwise it's just a normal Zaku (it also helped that Char was an amazing pilot/newtype)
