In MEXIKO Wir lieben die IL62 TU-154b2 M, TU134-a3. Leider hatte Interfulg NIEMALS einen Flug Berlin SXF - MEX, aber Aeroflot Cubana von 1975 bis 1998, dass ein Idiot Flüge in diesem schönen sowjetischen Schiff heute verboten hat Grüße von APODACA NL Norte Mexicano
Dieses wunderbar verschmitzte Video wird ein Zeitdokument werden, denn aus dem Südteil ist ansonsten wohl nichts filmisch festgehalten worden. Manchmal bekomme ich noch vierfachen AI-20 Sound zu hören, wenn bei uns die An-12 landet.
Today the airline industry is all about profits and greed. Soon most airliners will be bankrupt and only a few airliners will remain. We see it in the USA were many classic airliners went bankrupt like TWA, PAN AM, Eastern Airlines. Interflug of the GDR was not run by capitalist need. The reason it failed was because it was never able to run as a capitalist enterprise. Sure it was not genuine socialist and workers had no control over the airliner, but at least it was not govern by the need for profit. Under genuine socialism, airliners serve the needs of the people not the need of capitalists!
Then the "people" have to find the vast capital, nedeed to invest and run an airline..the old Aeroflot was runned on your principles and it was flying junk and Aeroflot also tried to attract people from teh western world with hard currency to get some profits.
Soviet Aeroflot was run by a centralized political system with no direct control from its workers, consumers or anybody. Only the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet-Union was allowed to make decisions. Capitalist companies are build on the same principal, they are control by a few shareholders (capitalists) who demand maximum profit. The Soviet or Stalinist system is not socialism and neither Aeroflot or Interflug were under workers self management.
GDR was not a western country so western work safety standards did not apply - at least they were not enforced as strict as in the western world. But the standard of work quality was pretty high. Seems you have very little knowledge about life in the GDR. add-on: ... and remember this was in 1990. So, even in western countries it was less strict compared to today.
