Thank you so much for these explanations. They are really helping me to understand the Bible, as I read through it, gradually, for the 1st time in my life.

Wow,powerful. Thanks you! This is serious. We need to change our wicked ways. Generations after generations the same thing happens. we choose to be deceitful, cuning and hurting each other because( do what thou wilt) God is not in the center. Thank you father for your son, Jesus. Father, continue to order my steps. Help me to continue on that narrow path that leads to you and you alone🙌🏽🙏🏽

I genuinely hope that you create more study videos. I know you have a few more lessons on other books, but your teaching makes these difficult passages so simple to understand!

Good detail. I'd like to add a couple more pointers that show how this story points to the person and work of Christ.
    1. Follow the harlot (both here and in the next story featuring a harlot (Josh 2, 5-6)
    2. Follow the red cord (both here and in the next story featuring a red cord (Josh 2, 5-6)
    3. Follow the genealogy (in both stories), noting the fact that twins were born in this illegitimate union
    4. Follow the epilogue at Jericho - namely, Achan's story. Note his genealogy, and the fact that he and his whole family swap places with Rahab and her whole family.
    5. Follow Ruth's genealogy in ch 4. Note where it starts and where it stops. Count them (seirously).
    6. Tie it all together with Deut 23:2-3, and wash it all down with the genealogy in Matt 1.
    Enjoy!

Interesting that it is through Judah, Perez, Boaz and Jesse that we get the lineage of David, and ultimately Jesus.

It’s mentioned in this teaching that Judah,s wife’s name is Shua. In verse 12 according to my God’s Word Translation- Shua was the name of her father. Is Shua the name of the father or the daughter. (Also mentioned in Verse 2)
