I would say you succeeded on the pantry challenge. Wow, everything looked delicious. You should be proud of your self. You are a good homemaker, mother and wife. Thank you for sharing, I will be using these recipes, thank you. Also that frittata was beautiful. God bless
Everything looked so good! I love the frittata! You could also add some frozen or boxed hash browns and make a breakfast casserole (there are lots of recipes floating arounds). Homemade bagels *and tortillas? Yes, please! Thanks for sharing!
I stack my spinach and cut it in strips leaving off the stems, and dehydrate the strips in the dehydrator. Condition and store in a jar on the counter and use the a handful of dehydrated spinach by crinkling it up and use it like parsley.
This was great!! I love these kind of videos. I've gotten into the habit of making your bread every weekend. Now that my husband knows that I can make bagels with your recipe... I'm going to try those now too. Thanks 😉🤣
This was the easiest fastest bagel recipe I have seen on RUclips. I am definitely trying the bagel recipe this week. Never used butter to make tortillas but I will now! Thanks for showing such detailed videos sure appreciate your effort. Wish I lived closer to get a hot bagel hehehe 🥰😋.
I never knew I could can what seems odd to me. Grandma taught me to garden and can. Sure she canned stews, chicken noodle soups , bone broth , beef cubes, ground beef all the regulars , tons of vegetables and vegetable blends but since I took up canning again 8 years ago I started watching tutorials to refresh. I can meatballs in sauce. Tamales in sauce. So many odd things to me which I would not think of. Now I’m back to dehydrating . Have my own herb garden a medicinal garden, and a tea garden…chamomile, lavender, ginger…and I have 2 huge tea leaf plant in pots that produces green tea and black tea…..I’m vacuum packing, dry canning and using o2 absorbers. Mylar and 5 gallon buckets are great in the pantry . I can buy bulk everything and have it put back for times of dire necessity.I recut fitted the whole pantry when the inflation started. I went bat crap crazy buying bulk. I also freeze eggs. They keep for a year.glad I did with bird flu, shortages and huge increase in prices….. I was taught from rural life to have a years supplies of staples to get you through to the next harvest and culling of meat animals. Wish I could have chickens . It’s chick month at the rural farm stores. But alas with all that’s going on I don’t have the help right now to build a proper chicken coop😭😭😭😭😭
Sorry! Didn't finish my comment but great job! Tamara. My Mother had her own recipe , she just made them like her Mother. And I fellow my Moms. A recipe that is passed down. So do it your way. It's all good !!
Hi Tamara, I’ve wondered where you get the trays you work the bread on? Do you have a link? They look so handy and much easier cleanup. Great video! ETA: Nevermind. I found it in your Amazon store!
Have you ever tried honey in the water for the bagels, I hear it can give the bagels a sweetness? Thank you for sharing, you inspire me to continue making things for my family.
Hello I’m new today to your channel I’m so glad I seen you you spoke of investing in kitchen appliances my question is I don’t know much about dehydrated machine where would I look for one?
Hey! You can find them on Amazon, at Walmart, thrift stores, etc. I got mine from London Sunshine. I’ll link the video for you. ruclips.net/video/kqaGpVrC-zo/видео.html
I love your pantry challenges! It is something I have a hard time with. Also, I've been meaning to tell you how cute your channel photo is! You look adorable!!
Tamara,I forgot to mention,i saw your tik tok earlier where you had up some people saying yur a hoarder because of your prepper pantry, that's the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard. You go girl!
I can't believe how some people are so unaware of the importance of having food storage. You just have to follow the news when there's a disaster of some sort, and see the mad rush to stores and the empty shelves to understand why having a working pantry is necessary! You're awesome!
I love this video! My husband has been making bread in the bread machine, and we have been looking for the perfect recipe. It appears we found it! Have you ever tried using sourdough in your recipe? And the biscuits - terrific idea! It's just my husband and I, so freezing in advance is perfect for us. I've been following your videos for a long time and have loved them all!
Yes, you can. Bloom the yeast then mix everything else till it forms a ball and doesn’t stick to the sides. Let it rise till it doubles in size. Knead, shape and let rise again then bake. ❤️
Can you help me ? Im getting ready to make your bread for the first time however I don’t have a bread machine yet. My question is if it takes an hour in a half for your bread machine how long would I let it go in a kitchen aid mixer?
I'm actually making your bagel recipe right now! I've been making the milk & honey bread every sunday for over 2 months so I don't have to buy sandwich bread. Delicious! So excited to do the bagels now!
I didn’t freeze them on top of each other. As you can see in the video I froze them in a single layer on the tray then after they froze over night I put them in a freezer bag. Placed them back in the freezer till I need them. I can pull out as many as I need at a time!
8:34 I just had a question about your dehydrated mushrooms. Were they plump or did they taste a little chewy? I know I’ve used mine, and they weren’t the same as having fresh mushrooms, and I was kind of expecting for them to taste more fresh.
Tamara Your bagels look so good as did the egg casserole. I hate wasting food so I appreciate all of your tips. Hope you had a good day. It was nice to see you today.
I love your videos all your effort and energy you put into them the information tip and tricks have helped me so much love the budget friendly things you do thank you
Hi Angel girl and everyone else 😇 I'm the first one here. Woohoo 🙌 God bless you and your family. You are such a sweet person 💕. Have a blessed weekend 😇 love you guys 😇🥰😇
The bagels look great! I use my spinach powder all the time in my smoothies. You can't really taste it and it adds extra nutrients. I've even added zucchini powder, sweet potato leaves powder and cranberry powder to my smoothies. So good! I made tortillas for the first time last week and I will definitely be doing it again. I'm also going to make the flatbread that Rachel at 1870's homestead made using yogurt also. I have been wanting to also make some biscuits for the freezer also. I know they would be better for my family than the tube biscuits with all the junk in them. You did great!
This was a fantastic video! Very informative for someone trying to learn how to improve food waste. I love the bagels, they look so easy and delicious! Thank you so much! 😁
My goodness girl, everything looked amazing! Never knew how to do Bagels will try and the tortilla's yes! We rely on stores from baking items for home when we can save money and it prevents all the additives being in there so I think it is much healthier. I've just been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis so I want to eat healthier because flare ups and inflammation is really painful. I really appreciate you showing so much baking as well as meal plans it helps so much. God Bless have a wonderful weekend ❤️🫶☺️
You are such a great cook! I love how you don’t mind making the bread items for your family. Not only are they more nutritious, but they don’t have all the chemicals and preservatives that the store bought items have. All of the food looked so yummy!
Hi Tamara. Great video! Your bagels look so delicious! I never knew that paprika was ground up peppers.🤷🏽♀️ Thanks for all the information and helpful tips. I really enjoyed this one. Loved how you were just sipping on your tea in the intro.😂 Thanks for sharing.🤗💕
Hi Tamara. You hit it out of the park with this video! Your bagels looked amazing! I love pretzels and I am going to follow your recipe, add more of the baking soda to the water, to make my own pretzel bagels (or at least give it a try-fingers crossed). Have a blessed day.
Everything looks delicious!! If you plan on making flour tortillas a lot in the future you want to invest in a tortilla press. You can have them all flat in about 5 minutes! I finally have one and love it! You can use to make fried hand pies too. Have a blessed evening!
This might be my favorite video you've done so far!! Ty! Your Bagels look amazing. And I too have been baking my own bread goods ( except English muffins) and tortillas. I have never had success with tortillas but yours look great. Can't wait to try them. I even got a press ; )
as always so fun, meais look so yummie , thanx for always sharing
Tortillas are easy to make. It takes practice to roll out to be thin. Great j
Hello Tamera your bagels 🥯 look so delicious. Thank you for sharing.

Yes you did a lot. Will have to venture out and make some of those. Blessings
The tortillas looked amazing! I can never get mine round like that! Great job! And the bagels looked like they had a nice chewy crust! Awesome video!
I'm excited about this video. I have been trying to eat more meals at home and from my pantry. Have a fantastic evening/ day.

I haven’t, but I have heard of people doing that!
This is probably a stupid question, but do you let the bagels rise for 30 min like the regular bread recipe before the boiling process?
Nope!
Some of mine turned out flat the others were fluffy, hmmm I’ll keep trying.
Maybe keep them covered with a towel while you are boiling them, so the dough doesn’t get a crust on it before you boil them. If that makes sense ❤️
I have been doing the same. Freezer prepping breakfast. The Last on my list is your freezer French toast sticks.
Love ur channel ❤❤❤❤
Your bagels look amazing! Well done, loved this video!
I am learning so much from your videos, thanks for all you do!

I could have never had the patience to do all you do. Your Amazing! You Go Girl! Much Respect!
Do I just use the dough hook on my kitchen aide to make that bread recipe?
Yes, you can. Bloom the yeast then mix everything else till it forms a ball and doesn’t stick to the sides. Let it rise till it doubles in size. Knead, shape and let rise again then bake. ❤️
When I was in high school, my mom found a pretzel recipe in her bread book.

Do your biscuits have to raise again after you take them out of the freezer and they thaw?
Nope! Straight from freezer to oven!
Won’t they be all stuck together, given the way you’ve frozen them on top of each other..?
I didn’t freeze them on top of each other. As you can see in the video I froze them in a single layer on the tray then after they froze over night I put them in a freezer bag. Placed them back in the freezer till I need them. I can pull out as many as I need at a time!

I haven’t noticed a texture difference. Try reconstructing them in hot water first before using maybe.
