The road conditions is not so good due to some reasons. Primary reason is indirectly tourism. Like people bisit here for adventurous bike riding if all roads will be ok, who honna come. A local once said to me
Hahahaha that’s quite interesting. It was kind of nice that some of the roads were good and other parts were more offroad adventurous and thrilling. I’ve never thought of it that way. Hi!! I guess all you can do is to try and minimize the risk. With a van I guess you have a driver who is very familiar with the road, you won’t have the risk of becoming too exhausted and making mistakes and less risks of falling. But you definitely won’t get the same experience in a van as you would on a bike. If doing it by bike I would just make sure to do it with an organized group/tour that knows the road and have medical assistance and a car to put your bike in if it becomes too dangerous or you are too tired. ☺️

I'm against people casually going through these roads. These are really difficult and only experts should goup these roads. One miss and you are fried.
100% agreed. This is not an adventure to take lightly or just jump on. That’s why we opted to do it in an organized tour with a guy in the front and one in the back for incase anything happens and that can guide us on the roads with their incredible knowledge. Also why I opted to be on the back of the bike, Jared has driven bikes before so is comfortable with it, but not regularly and nothing to this extend. People should also be careful because it’s long days so you do get tired and you have to stay 110% focused so you have to be comfortable with a bike.
@@bishalghaley I’m sure you have enough labour force. It’s just in many other countries we’ve been to a lot of the construction work is being imported from other countries such as China because the tenders for these projects are won by China or other companies from other foreign countries. So it was interesting and pretty cool that India keeps a lot of its construction projects local and that the projects are done by India and Indian labour. These days you don’t see that often for big projects.
@@KinfolkTravels Basically india and china have not that much good relation that we take help from china for construction , and thats good for india i think
You can definitely do it cheaper yourself. ☺️ But we opted to pay a bit more and feel safe with people that know the roads, the area and can support us along the way as we are not regular bikers nor do we know the area or the language. I don’t think $800 for 2 people on an organized tour including bike, petrol, accommodation, meals, support vehicle etc etc is a rip off tough… What do others think?
I think you went with company wihich only caters to foreigners ( you) . That's fair but there are plenty of such companies that are safe and less pricey but inaccessible to foreigners@@KinfolkTravels

That map doesn’t have names on so I didn’t easily pickup it up with just the border lines. ☺️
I thought i was watching itchy boots
Hahaha, ill take that as a compliment. That girl is insane! So much respect for her 💪🏼
I'm against people casually going through these roads.
People working here are from india what does that even means...?
Who else going to work in india chinese...?
Yes, Chinese of Bangladesh.
I THINK she may forget the fact that India has biggest labour force just like or >China
@@KinfolkTravels😂😂lol Chinese of bangladesh..what does that even mean?
Hi I just want to say we have enough labour force in India..
800 dollar, thats 64000 inr. thats some way to get scammed lol 🤦😅
You can definitely do it cheaper yourself. ☺️
But we opted to pay a bit more and feel safe with people that know the roads, the area and can support us along the way as we are not regular bikers nor do we know the area or the language.
I don’t think $800 for 2 people on an organized tour including bike, petrol, accommodation, meals, support vehicle etc etc is a rip off tough…
What do others think?
@@KinfolkTravelsit's not high but reasonable for Ladakh tour where everything is expensive as compare to mainland India
I think you went with company wihich only caters to foreigners ( you) . That's fair but there are plenty of such companies that are safe and less pricey but inaccessible to foreigners@@KinfolkTravels
