@@ridewithwarro One of the reasons I buy new cars and motorcycles so reluctantly, is you have to interact with dealers. Maybe it's because the mark up on new vehicles is slim, or perhaps the buying public are a PIA, either way it's generally a poor relationship that aims to leverage ever penny while promoting a sense of guilt and suspicion. It seems like any deals have to be given the green light by distributors or manufacturers, to ensure individual franchises aren't gaining a commercial advantage.

Quite the stable there mate. I'd love to look at the Honda 350 (single now) but for whatever reason they're not available anywhere western. They look sweet..a little more "classic"" Honda styling. Looking forward to your first ride on the new bike!!
to me they are just bikes but to some maybe not. all i can say by looking over this hunter 350 which to mbe honest is a pretty crappy name to say the least ENFIELD has done a very good job putting it together. i have some absolute horror stories from my ealy days of enfields from 2012 and all bikes were brand new too....lol i watched a clip on a 350 single honda-could be the highness i think and a part broke and guy was waiting 9 months for it. ive had plenty of new hondas and like all other brands they know how to charge and build crap too...lol ive experienced both sides of that coin...lol i may run this hunter at the weekend and see how it goes. reports are good but don't believe reviews anyway -only one way i guess is to try it out for yourself
My first bike was a 2019 Grom as a 'toe in the water' thing. Loved it, but also bought a 2017 Honda CB500X as the next step, but didn't bond with it all. Looking to replace both, I went over the Duke 390, BMW 310's, Yamaha MT03 etc. But then after some years of dismissing RE I admired the same RE Warro has & remembered motorrcyling isn't logic, it's heart. I ended up with a gunmetal grey version with various mods like led upgrades, exhaust etc. to which I've added panniers & little details. This bike is just...my mate. They have enough power for real riding, handle well, stop well & just sound really great with a slip on exhaust. If you're unsure, don't be, RE is champagne on a lemonade budget.
ks like we hae both been on jomw 310 -so far i have not bought that bike. on a side note that cb500x would be a poor sample ride compared to the new model. i had the 018 which was like an 017 but the big change came in 019 and i had the 019 and 019 and rode them back to back then cashed the 018 the 022 cb500x was really refined but for some reason honda can't eliminate the bar vibes so party over for it too...lol i like the enfields because they are cheap to buy and latest models have certainly improved compared to say 5 years back. i might even take this on a solo overnight camp and cook series. got the rack so quite possible. i sort of like the classic 350 reborn better but it just looks older. it will be interesting to try out this new hunter and check the mid range delivery all the best!
@@ridewithwarro Yup, RE have come on in leaps & bounds. I first liked them when the desert green one came out about 2016, got my licence 4 years later & went to Honda as I read too many reviews & didn't buy with the heart. The newer X might be better, but the Classic feels custom made for me. Glad of the experience, but RE for me now. And thanks for the pannier fitting video a while back; mine went on really easily after grinding away the corner like you did :)
@@stuartr8356 all good. i never had that much luck with the 500's thats why i was keen to grab the new 350's they do everything the bigger 500 bike can't. the 500 has more power but still my xmax would beat one but i was plagued by reliability issues and extreme vibration. new 350's arn't perfect but neither is the price...lol
Looks nice Warro, though I'm not overly keen on the tank graphics or the offset speedo; it looks like they originally planned to put a tacho there, then changed their mind! I know that the Nav thing could be fitted, but even then the size difference looks odd. Yes, I'm old school, but I do like matching instruments. Not a deal breaker, though. Looking forward to your ride assessment.
to me they are only bikes to ride so not too concerned about the speedo. i've had that many enfields my main concern is usually- will it start and whats gonna break today. when i bought 500's i once told the dealer. what i like about enfields its the only new bike you can buy and start fixing on the very same day you bought it....lol thats me laughing not him! that side changed when i bought the first interceptor-a very well put together bike. i then sold my 500's a very bad put together bike and went 350 reborn again a very well put together bike now have the hunter and i think its fit and finish beat all of them so good job enfield. so after all that ...my vote is for the classic 350 reborn but i will try out the hunter today and see if it goes ok and run my thoughts on next clip
@@ridewithwarro Yes, I understand about the older Enfields and the lack of reliability. Back in the '60's I used to own a Jaguar, which was a car one bought two of; one to use whilst the other was being repaired! Enfield's fit, finish and reliabilty has vastly improved and good on them. Yes, I know your favourite is the Classic 350 Reborn and understandably so, but we'll all look forward to hearing your thoughts on the Hunter.
@@chrisweeks6973 back in 1970 at 18...lol i tried to buy an e type jag in sysney at marshal motors for $4200 it was a 67 series rag top with covered headlight -dark navy blue with chrome wires and black interior..naturally the 4.2 6 in manual at that time i was driving a brand new valiant charger i'd had 4 months. salesguy took me for a run in the jag but never let me drive it. anyway they couldnt work out a trade as it was different times. so that deal fell through and couple weeks later i traded the charger on a 66 ford mustang for $3450 fast foreward 5 years back and i had the chance to buy an e type again. went and took a look and it was a 2plus2 which i hate. stupid windscreem. took the opportunity to drive this fully restored car but still thought it drove like an old car. so i passed on that and sold my 3 litre z3 and bought the new version z4 and it appears i will never own a jaguar...lol
@@ridewithwarro Mine was a '61 Mk II 3.4 manual sedan with o/d, metallic bronze with red leather. When it was going, it was a nice car, but... I'd agree about the compromised design of the 2+2 E-type; it never looked right. The BMW is a better car though, for me, the driving electronics are too intrusive for really enthusiastic driving. Objectively, I don't think you've missed much in not owning a Jag, other than the grief!
@@chrisweeks6973 LOLback in the late 60's to mid 70's id say for 10 years it was my most thought about car. i remember one day deciding i was going to buy one and got as far as bathurst and saw an E38 rt charger on the lot with bathurst pack- big tank etc and bought it...lol that thing could certainly drink gas. red leather interior....nice!
Nice bike Warro. Been waiting for your review of this one as it interests me. So did the Suzuki but I don't think I can ever bond with a bike with all that bodywork, and I've never liked a fixed dash on a bike! So despite it being terrific value, it's out for me now. Have a couple of specific requests for you to report on for the Hunter as I don't trust the other YT reviewers, but will wait to see your ride clip before I ask. For now, colour is great / don't go for those graphics / like others would like to fit matching twin clocks if I bought the bike.
suzuki is a pretty good bike. if not i'd moved it out by now but what i've shown in this clip i'm happy with and it took some time to get to that stage buying and turping bikes...lol 1. xmax fastest of the lot 2 best bit of fun for $4500 with newer motor and 5 speed box. 3. classic 350 reborn no other bike in its price range can give you that look back and smile feel good moment 4. cb125f just such a good value little toy compared to the junk before it the cb125e 5. vstrom 250 sx very low on the vibe side and runs extremely well at 100 kph at a leasurely pace -not so in a mud heap as i found out. user error plus tyre related 6. hunter 350 looks good and well finished for an enfield. probably their best presented bike to date. improvement after improvement so a credit to the company. not test ridden yet. so pick a bike warro CLASSIC 350 REBORN...lol just looks the part!
@@ridewithwarro I enjoyed watching you jump on and off those bikes. If the Hunter feels 'smaller' than you expected, it will be great for tight spaces like shopping carparks, tricky garage spaces, even narrow dirt tracks. I suspect it will be better than the Suzuki in that regard, which seems like it might have quite a large turning circle. Await your verdict with interest!
i might do the cat delete but filter side no. i used several filters dna and other on other enfields and found didn't help me much at all and waste of money. i actually gave away a new k&n for a classic 500 so i didnt have to look at it...lol on the other hand if cam change is involved and pc5 then i say the air filter helps for sure
I sure like the look of the Hunter. You probably are gonna need a bigger shed Warro. Australian retailers sure could learn something from the yanks. Just think about the winch and how good the US service was.
@@ridewithwarro Now you got Alloy wheels & tubeless tyre's on Hunter you'd be able to get a rechargeable mini air compressor & tyre repair kit. Rocky Creek do good quality kits & use galvanized tyre plugs so no glue needed.I was thinking about getting one for my Trident 🔱 having alloys.
@@ridewithwarro Hunter has the floating motor to save weight & shorter wheel base. Paint looks like Silver Spectre like I had on my Interceptor. I don't like buying Demo's either Warro can't beat running it in yourself slow & steady to about 1500km.Demo low km bikes usually been thrashed.
From a styling perspective the Hunter really does nothing for me. I am glad to see them extending the 350 line though. I’ve owned the Meteor and ridden the Classic extensively and I absolutely love the motor in those two bikes.
i thought enfield did a pretty good job on this hunter to try and appeal to younger buyers but if i walked into a dealer to buy a bike ...i'd buy classic 350 reborn. only because it looks 50 years old and the hunter is much more with it now...lol sitting on the hunter reminds me when i bought the ktm 390 duke about 4 years back. what a wild little ride indeed....lol
I am curious what do you think about the meteor 350? Or you are not in to cruiser bikes? Nice video otherwise. It is rare to have the opportunity to jump from bike to bike and to compere sizes in that way. It is really big design decision for a bike to be of certain size, weight and fit. Royal Enfield nail it with the 350 engine and the 3 frames. What do you think about the Himalayan too? Watching your videos for a while now and seams to be very good choice for your riding style and location and said that you had one?
i think the suzuki vstrom 250 sx is pretty hard to beat providing one doesn't drop it...lol so i think thats my choice of rides there. i've never been into cruisers as thats not me. if i was i'd just out and by a HD and that way i'd have to wave to no-body...lol at the moment i am trying to put together a solo ride/camp cook series. more on that side next clip and i think the rides i have will serve that side very well all the best!
the speedo doesn't worry me much or at all as the bike only cost me $7500 which is near nothing.especially when that blue xmax cost $10k that triumph i had i purchased for $17500 and for that money i'd like it centered and it was...lol but no-one was interested in viewing the clip so i shafted it...lol
The Hunter looks a pretty impressive little urban runabout, commuter bike. I’d throw a rack on it with a topbox . I’ve had a top box on my CB500F for a couple of years and it’s been brilliant, hasn’t been off once. There’s an Enfield dealer up the road. If I was on a budget just looking for a single cylinder commuter, I’d definitely give one a test ride and ask about a bundle deal accessory/rack/to box. Fella came in behind me and dropped $9K into his bank account. Know what I mean? Cash deal mate - look after me?
pretty hard to get a deal off an enfield dealer. don't bother asking them any-more ...that tell that good of a story i feel like lending them some money...lol
@@MrAndrew1953 lets say if it doesn't perform to my expectations on first ride-someone will buy a cheaper set of wheels and i'll buy another set...lol no big deal -do it all the time...lol
nothing i suppose on that bike but on the re-born which looks more old school ..metal is far better. i dont care one way or the other...i just buy and ride so no big deal to me but when you are a youtube creator some-one always has some-thing to say and one must cover ifpossible all bases

Quite the stable there mate. I'd love to look at the Honda 350 (single now) but for whatever reason they're not available anywhere western. They look sweet..a little more "classic"" Honda styling. Looking forward to your first ride on the new bike!!
to me they are just bikes but to some maybe not. all i can say by looking over this hunter 350 which to mbe honest is a pretty crappy name to say the least ENFIELD has done a very good job putting it together.
i have some absolute horror stories from my ealy days of enfields from 2012 and all bikes were brand new too....lol
i watched a clip on a 350 single honda-could be the highness i think and a part broke and guy was waiting 9 months for it.
ive had plenty of new hondas and like all other brands they know how to charge and build crap too...lol ive experienced both sides of that coin...lol
i may run this hunter at the weekend and see how it goes. reports are good but don't believe reviews anyway -only one way i guess is to try it out for yourself
Well said , good to read sensible comments, enjoy your motorcycling
ks like we hae both been on jomw 310 -so far i have not bought that bike.
on a side note that cb500x would be a poor sample ride compared to the new model. i had the 018 which was like an 017 but the big change came in 019 and i had the 019 and 019 and rode them back to back then cashed the 018
the 022 cb500x was really refined but for some reason honda can't eliminate the bar vibes so party over for it too...lol
i like the enfields because they are cheap to buy and latest models have certainly improved compared to say 5 years back.
i might even take this on a solo overnight camp and cook series. got the rack so quite possible.
i sort of like the classic 350 reborn better but it just looks older. it will be interesting to try out this new hunter and check the mid range delivery
all the best!
@@lena19191 Thank you, stay safe :)
@@stuartr8356 all good. i never had that much luck with the 500's thats why i was keen to grab the new 350's
they do everything the bigger 500 bike can't.
the 500 has more power but still my xmax would beat one but i was plagued by reliability issues and extreme vibration.
new 350's arn't perfect but neither is the price...lol
G'day Warro, that new bike looks great, not a fan of the off centred Speedo, or the EN tank stickers , cheers mate Neil 🤠.
Fair enough! i'm sort of keen to find out how it runs and ride position. i too like the colour scheme and thats base model too
🤗🤗🤗
good one...lol
Looks nice Warro, though I'm not overly keen on the tank graphics or the offset speedo; it looks like they originally planned to put a tacho there, then changed their mind! I know that the Nav thing could be fitted, but even then the size difference looks odd. Yes, I'm old school, but I do like matching instruments. Not a deal breaker, though. Looking forward to your ride assessment.
to me they are only bikes to ride so not too concerned about the speedo. i've had that many enfields my main concern is usually- will it start and whats gonna break today.
when i bought 500's i once told the dealer. what i like about enfields its the only new bike you can buy and start fixing on the very same day you bought it....lol thats me laughing not him!
that side changed when i bought the first interceptor-a very well put together bike. i then sold my 500's a very bad put together bike and went 350 reborn again a very well put together bike
now have the hunter and i think its fit and finish beat all of them so good job enfield.
so after all that ...my vote is for the classic 350 reborn but i will try out the hunter today and see if it goes ok and run my thoughts on next clip
@@chrisweeks6973 back in 1970 at 18...lol i tried to buy an e type jag in sysney at marshal motors for $4200
it was a 67 series rag top with covered headlight -dark navy blue with chrome wires and black interior..naturally the 4.2 6 in manual
at that time i was driving a brand new valiant charger i'd had 4 months.
salesguy took me for a run in the jag but never let me drive it. anyway they couldnt work out a trade as it was different times.
so that deal fell through and couple weeks later i traded the charger on a 66 ford mustang for $3450
fast foreward 5 years back and i had the chance to buy an e type again. went and took a look and it was a 2plus2 which i hate. stupid windscreem. took the opportunity to drive this fully restored car but still thought it drove like an old car.
so i passed on that and sold my 3 litre z3 and bought the new version z4 and it appears i will never own a jaguar...lol
@@chrisweeks6973 LOLback in the late 60's to mid 70's id say for 10 years it was my most thought about car.
i remember one day deciding i was going to buy one and got as far as bathurst and saw an E38 rt charger on the lot with bathurst pack- big tank etc and bought it...lol
that thing could certainly drink gas.
red leather interior....nice!
For now, colour is great / don't go for those graphics / like others would like to fit matching twin clocks if I bought the bike.
suzuki is a pretty good bike. if not i'd moved it out by now but what i've shown in this clip i'm happy with and it took some time to get to that stage buying and turping bikes...lol
1. xmax fastest of the lot
2 best bit of fun for $4500 with newer motor and 5 speed box.
3. classic 350 reborn no other bike in its price range can give you that look back and smile feel good moment
4. cb125f just such a good value little toy compared to the junk before it the cb125e
5. vstrom 250 sx very low on the vibe side and runs extremely well at 100 kph at a leasurely pace -not so in a mud heap as i found out. user error plus tyre related
6. hunter 350 looks good and well finished for an enfield. probably their best presented bike to date. improvement after improvement so a credit to the company. not test ridden yet.
so pick a bike warro
CLASSIC 350 REBORN...lol just looks the part!
Warro, are you going to put the free flow hitchcocks exhaust and filter on the classic. More sound and free flow.
i might do the cat delete but filter side no. i used several filters dna and other on other enfields and found didn't help me much at all and waste of money.
i actually gave away a new k&n for a classic 500 so i didnt have to look at it...lol
on the other hand if cam change is involved and pc5 then i say the air filter helps for sure
@@ridewithwarro I fitted both and love the sound, but noticed the bike gets very hot. I see people are fitting the Fuel x pro
I sure like the look of the Hunter. You probably are gonna need a bigger shed Warro. Australian retailers sure could learn something from the yanks. Just think about the winch and how good the US service was.
yeah that works extremely well. plan to take it on my solo camp runs just for peace of mind really. plus i hope not to use it either
Dain 🌲 Tree always beats me to Warro most of the time😂🤣.
@@ruahinesrider yeah those demo are not for me. if i was going to buy in that direction i think i'd chase a good one owner bike instead
From a styling perspective the Hunter really does nothing for me. I am glad to see them extending the 350 line though. I’ve owned the Meteor and ridden the Classic extensively and I absolutely love the motor in those two bikes.
i thought enfield did a pretty good job on this hunter to try and appeal to younger buyers but if i walked into a dealer to buy a bike ...i'd buy classic 350 reborn.
only because it looks 50 years old and the hunter is much more with it now...lol
sitting on the hunter reminds me when i bought the ktm 390 duke about 4 years back. what a wild little ride indeed....lol
Watching your videos for a while now and seams to be very good choice for your riding style and location and said that you had one?
i think the suzuki vstrom 250 sx is pretty hard to beat providing one doesn't drop it...lol so i think thats my choice of rides there.
i've never been into cruisers as thats not me. if i was i'd just out and by a HD and that way i'd have to wave to no-body...lol
at the moment i am trying to put together a solo ride/camp cook series. more on that side next clip and i think the rides i have will serve that side very well
all the best!
Hello mr warro it seem you have many bike collection. I need your classic 350 halycon grey. I really want it. Poor man from india greetings.
plus you picked the best bike too...lol it's my favourite.all the best from AU
Agree with you regarding the Classic 350, would not buy the Hunter due to the wonky position of the speedo.
the speedo doesn't worry me much or at all as the bike only cost me $7500 which is near nothing.especially when that blue xmax cost $10k
that triumph i had i purchased for $17500 and for that money i'd like it centered and it was...lol but no-one was interested in viewing the clip so i shafted it...lol
@@ridewithwarro For just home to work and back commuting the Hunter looks good enough.
@@MrAndrew1953 lets say if it doesn't perform to my expectations on first ride-someone will buy a cheaper set of wheels and i'll buy another set...lol
no big deal -do it all the time...lol
@@ridewithwarro Fair enough. I’ll wait to see if it measures up to your high expectations. The Reborn isn’t going anywhere I suspect.
@@MrAndrew1953 none of the bikes are moving but i have a solo ride camp and cook series coming so hope to put all of them in that adventure.
Let me know how Hunter run's once run in Warro.Want to know if I'll cruise at 70mph 115kmh doesn't the Classic cruise at 60-65mph?
Guy in USA put a Hitchcocks cam upgrade in a Hunter & it was cruising at 75mph & doing 80mph easily.Had a aftermarket header pipe too.
yeah the classic will run easy at 100 kph on flat type ground. runs quicker too but i'm usually happy on the easy 100 kph mark.
😀👍
thanks and appreciated!
Almost have as many bikes as jay leno
i think they will come in handy when i start the solo ride/camp cook series. plus i can rotate the rides
what is wrong with plastic ??
nothing i suppose on that bike but on the re-born which looks more old school ..metal is far better.
i dont care one way or the other...i just buy and ride so no big deal to me but when you are a youtube creator some-one always has some-thing to say and one must cover ifpossible all bases
Putt putt.
yeah and spot on -350cc of raw pure power!
Warro I can’t believe those jokers at the dealership won’t give you a freebie after all the bikes you bought, that is a load of BS
yep that's roughly $200K spent on buying ENFIELDS and not a word back from them. ...maybe i didn't buy enough...lol
