- I have been in wood turning as a hobby for the first year.
I am still immature, so I hope you can see it with warm eyes.
Finally, the rotation speed is too fast and an accident has occurred…
The material is a cherry branch that has just been cut.
Most of this video is 4x speed.

実家の集落が管理する空き地に切り捨てられた桜の木の枝が落ちていたので、木の再生という意味も込めて花の置物に作り替えました。
最後に回転数を落とす事を忘れて事故が起きていますが、それは今後の注意します。
撮り方やウッドターニングも初心者なので進め方が悪いと思うので暖かい目で見て頂ければと思います。

This failed due to my carelessness.
I needed to set a lower speed, but it happened because I forgot it.
I chose this method because I need to dig the bottom to prevent cracking, but I have not failed after this work.
Awesome job. Like the shapes.

I don't have much money, but for one year I only had one spindle gouge.

@@YamabikoWoodArt I don't think anyone would consider your goblets the work of an intermediate turner. They are stunning. Your comment about only having one gouge for most of the year echoes common photography advice from years ago. I was told to buy just one fixed lens, and find my vision with it before adding more distraction to the camera bag. You have realized a beautiful vision with your goblets, and I would love to achieve something similar myself.

@@YamabikoWoodArt I'm not sure how much faster you can work with pieces so delicate. I was so nervous watching the pieces flex as you progressed, and was very surprised to see that they didn't break as you cut them free while turning. I thought for sure you would need to turn off the lathe and reach for a Ryoba to separate the finished goblet from the stock.
I myself need a lot of concentration every time. I think the person who watches is the same. The last disconnect, which should start exactly after slowing down, failed because it was forgotten. I want the bottom of the work to be as hollow as possible to make it less fragile.
You have inspired me to try doing this. I will record it and put it on my channel as well with credit to you.
