You should avoid zero down unless you HAVE to. You want equity in the home at move in if possible. You should strive to have a 10-20% down payment on a home. Currently its cheaper to rent then to buy in Vegas too, so personally I would wait it out a bit more. You should also have 10k set aside for emergencies too dont forget.

@opinion56 Thanks. Just did a google search of Boulder Highway area. Neighborhood doesn't look good and seems to have a lot of crime in that area as reported by the local news.

the only thing i dont like about those homes in that neighborhood is there is no driveway

I hate the driveway is shorter that a car. There will be loads of congestion in the streets no matter what the HOA rules are.

None of my business what a person owns and wants in democratic society....but why?...It makes sense if you have many relatives or follower to drive around, but a civilian needs a huge vehicle?

@@PeterChristofilopoulos no i dont have either of those vehicles, i was just trolling. But at the same time, some people do have large vehicles and they need lots of parking space. 😉

With all the homelessness, every new development should require owner occupancy. Pro Tip: 95% percent of people should avoid HOAs.

If its Lennar or any of the super fast building companies, its a total pass. Bad build quality in general and stuff breaks after just after the warrantee is up. caulking, drywall, and doors all had to be replaced after a year. Cant have a starter home if you have to keep fixing stuff right after buying... Imagine after 10 years. AND screw HOA.

I would never want to buy one of these! I don't like neighborhoods where you can't have people over - because there's no where to park, and the HOA Frequently tow cars! How do you get furniture upstairs? To small for so much debt!
