Really happy to see some sort of “Theater Talk” iteration rise from the ashes, so thanks for that! I will be watching. However, and please take this with love, the title “All The Moving Parts” is NOT IT. I cannot imagine how that (sub)title rose to the top of your list of potentials, but I encourage whoever is in charge to…reconsider. It is a baffling choice to have those words emblazoned behind the panel for the whole show. Seriously.
Y’all that wasn’t Alex Newell lol
You are right. The photo at 40:42 is not of Alex Newell but of Ashley D. Kelley. The other photo of Alex Newell at 46:13 is correct. Thanks for pointing it out. It will be fixed.
Smart and informative show, Patrick! Thanks! Cris Franco
Thank you. This is the kind of discussion you only find on NYC tv. (Maybe there's a podcast?)
Terrific discussion. 👏👏👏
So, what does “downtown” mean here. Off Bway? or something else that from my rural California perspective don’t understand. Thank you.
I believe she's referring to smaller, grittier theaters south of the Times Square theater district.

Denise, you are totally right! It's the experimental edgy theaters Off-Off Broadway. David, thanks for asking. Sara P., THEATER: All the Moving Parts Producer.
"Downtown" is not really a thing anymore.
Patrick Pacheco? More like Patrick Prosecco.
