For those wondering, TW has a large CN playerbase, both TW/HK does. This is because a lot of CN players used VPN to access the TW/HK servers, and that's for two reasons: 1. CN server is quite behind, around atleast 1 year minimized if they try to catch up, but they're still quite behind. 2. Censorship Naturally, when BA CN came out, a lot of them didn't want to migrate from TW/HK, so they stayed, and when a new influx of CN players came in, they didn't want to wait for CN to catch up so they went to the TW/HK servers. Now we don't know how much CN players are in those servers, but we can atleast assume probably close to 25% or over since BA is big in CN, just like a lot of gachas, so that's one reason why the numbers are quite inflated in the BA statistics, since it was quite odd that CN didn't even break the top 5 of playerbase. As for this political issue, it's just ironic all in all. CN players recognize the issues they have with their own government's stance on a lot of things like censorship, but for some reason they're still quite proud enough that they do this kind of thing like they were just offended hard. The only reason TW isn't recognized as a country in the first place, really boils down to CN holding the veto preventing TW being recognized as such in the UN council, even though TW has met all the other criteria for it to be recognized as such. Historically speaking, there's a lot going on here, but even the Pan-blue coalition in TW who wanted reunification has changed their stance not minding the status quo.

Considering this, I think the removal of the livestream was planned from the beginning and not because of the Taiwan issue. Still, why didn't they translate the dev talks?
That is interesting. It's not actually surprising considering the Chinese government limits video games for children under the age of 18 to only 90 minutes every day (specifically from 1930 to 2100), so that's the only time a minor can even play without borrowing their parent's phone account. Taiwan and Hong Kong don't have that same limit, although there are other factors affecting kids and parents to influence how much time they actually spend gaming.
Oh it was the Taiwan mention. Heh. How absolutely dare they. Having lived through the Hololive stuff related to daring to mention Taiwan I knew it would happen here too.

Taiwan may have been called a de jure country in the 80s or 90s, but after the 2000s, China dominated the global market and became a key player that also actively pressured countries that recognized Taiwan as a country economically. This made many countries maintain their political status quo with China in order to gain economic cooperation, for example by not recognizing Taiwan as a country. Finally, Taiwan did not become a de facto and de jure country, only a few countries that did not have many Chinese influence supported Taiwan as a country. Our personal opinion might be different but still it doesn't matter as it didn't change anything on national scale let alone on global scale.

Breaking news. China declares war on nexon
Damn they made a oopsie woopsie
I saw that life, wondered why Taiwan would be 1st. Didn't even realize what went wrong until this video, can't believe i missed that lol
I feel bad for the Taiwanese senseis...
Same sht different day... Still remember Kiryu Coco and Hachama drama
But i think Nexon should just Ignore the Comments and Silent like Nothing happen... 😊
That's the Best Damage control i guess, the Worst results probably... CN Server got closed and Blue Archive Totally Banned from entering China.
Let's see how Nexon handle it
Doesn't really matter for me...
But will they give more rewards or something ???
Probably just CN side like epic7😅
My 1st livestream since I started playing BA and it was cooked and scuffed lmao
Nah this problem is not huge, it's too complicated even for us 💀
This is so sad on many levels
Good thing I didn't post before you asked us to tone it down in the comment section... 😅
9:30 That one's pretty out of pocket, holy shit hahahaha.
So the drama is Blue Archive is BASED AS FCUK and Taiwan is a country. Goddamn I love the BA cunnunity
Glad it was nothing serious
i was at livestream yesterday evening.
Our personal opinion might be different but still it doesn't matter as it didn't change anything on national scale let alone on global scale.
so true, whenever i see the news of my country interacting with china, there’s always a part that says “we do not recognize taiwan as an independent country”
Basically China is having to "buy" the appearance of support economically.
How to claim the 2000gems from the web event?
i'm so sad , the game that block my country IP get drama
Gonna save till Battle Hoshino, my luck is trash so I need 24k for each student I want, minus the free pull tickets. I've had awful luck, had to pity my last 2 characters, nearly 3.
I don't see any mistake
Ridiculous shit to have to skirt around through
Likely an honest mistake on their behalf, but the overreaction just feels like a "cry wolf for victimhood" situation from that side of the community.
Most of the comments are not from China is translated to Chinese by THE HATERS
well they said by country and by regions... so... but whatever it's okay all people do mistakes so it's okay.
Bruhhh, why do they get so angry over nothing💀
Everyone knows how it really is. Also why get so angry over a obvious typo.
Hmm.. Isn't youtube banned in China? How did they watch it?
I thought the drama was specifically. But it was just country racism😂😂😅
CN players watching GLobal stream kinda cringe
