Even Peter was surprised they accepted his offer
Duncan really enjoys urinating on people's parade. I often wonder why he feels the need to sneer at people. Great that all the others were polite and constructive in their feedback.
He tells it like it is
Because he’s a business man. Rather than a soft touch person who wants to make everyone feel good.
@@Fush1234 So are all the others.
How about you ooga booga elsewhere?
It comes with the territory.. If you had been brought up in the Glasgow he was brought up in, in the generation he was brought up in, I don't think you would have survived for long being polite and constructive
Does that sound good?
Theo:😒
The tall guy wearing the glasses reminds me of Buddy Holly.
R.I.P Hillary.
Don’t joke about that.

They should of at least countered Peter down to 40% leaving them 20% each.
45%??? The cheek of asking, and the inability to not push back for an equal partnership...
I was thinking that too. Split it 4 ways, 25% each.
Their original offer was already for 35%, so Peter isn't pushing for that much more. They didn't waste much time accepting, so they clearly need him for his contacts. Smart move.
Always go for your druthers first and see where it gets you. The best rule in negotiating. You can then always bargain downwards.
Buddy Holly is alive and living in England! It's a miracle! 😁
Well Love the pop or Love da pop popcorn was certainly exploding in 2012 with a turnover of £3.1 million pounds, but I can't find anything for the last 3 years.
Maybe the business exploded and then went pop. ( Or they sold it)
Dissolved look at companies house
The shorter guy without the hat, his neck got sooooooooooooo red from being nervous when he was talking.
Considering they're creatives you'd think they would have had a top notch brand identity, solid packaging and a direction... they had none of those important things. Bad creatives.
What they should’ve done was focus entirely on the “quirky” hipster type events and venues. A fancy retro popcorn company run by short guys in vests is exactly what hipsters of the 2010’s would’ve eaten up- so to speak.
In 2023 they turned over 5.5 million Zimbabwean dollars
This episode had it's own behind the scenes drama between Evan Davis and Theo Paphitis when Evan thought it would be funny to leave a layer of still wet superglue on Theo's chair before he sat down for the day's pitches. The other Dragons did see the funny side when they saw Theo trying to leave the Den and get into his car still attached to his seat and had to drive home on the roof like Mr Bean.
Wowzers!
😯
what
This did not happen.
@@adrianbrink4875 No duh… No one thought it really did.
Blessings to Hillary
Wow, I could tell by the way those dragons are stuffing their faces, that popcorn sure is tasty...Mmmmm,.nom nom ! 😊
I need popcorn now.
Popcorn is at the end of its innovation road.
Saatchi and Saatchi sounds good to me.
So good they named it twice.

REPOST. Series 19 has been over and Series 20 has already run through halfway, why are you recycling clips from a year ago?
This is about 10 years old. The entrepreneurs had to come up the stairs. For the last few seasons they use the lift.

Where's Kelly hoppen?
Not in this episode I suppose...
She hopped her way out the the deal yet again because the popcorn wasn't gluten free.
