Interesting concept of using a 3d printer in the dispenser to create ammo
Smart
where does the gunpowder and metal come from
@@apchistuz same place ammo boxes come from
@@apchistuz engineer
It's the way the future of combat is going.
Marines roll in small tactical units and 3d print drone bombs and hopefully never even engage the enemy.
Weird.
I always thought that dispensers just acted like mini teleporters but hooked up to factories or something to bring the ammo and health.
That's a possibility, here just a version of how the dispenser could work in the interior so
me to
That is what they are doing. That is what the printer is doing. (maybe)
That's probably how it gets the raw material then uses it to manufacture what is needed.
That is an interesting concept. If that’s true, then does upgrading it also allow it to teleport things at a faster rate, and that’s why it dispenses more health and ammo when at level 2 and 3? And while we’re on the subject of how dispensers work, how does it help recharge spy’s cloak faster?
Thats seriously an interesting take on how a Dispenser works but I think the dispenser would work much faster and be more stuff inside etc.
Consider this being in slow motion
love your profile pic 🔥
Give it a break man it’s only a level 1 dispenser it can only work so fast
@@fireblast133 oh yeah ... makes sense XD 😂
This is 0.001 slow mo
That was the most sadistic ending these videos ever had
At least it could have been a blu dispenser or something
But, a very realistic ending anyone who's played the game can verify! Sometimes it just be that way!
Sometimes, as a demo player, it, to quote a source you may know of, “It has to be this way” because “standing here, I realize” dispensers are crucial for upholding the frontlines and if they aren’t protecting those on the “bloodstained sands” then it looks like all they have left to protect them is “nanomachines, son”
I laughed my ass off at that 🤣🤣🤣
Modern TF2 meme try not to be maddeningly unsatisfying challenge (Impossible)
Dispenser lore:
But you didn't have to cut me off
@Beata Witt yi long ma
replace the "L" in "Lore" with a "V"........

I love that all the merc’s and the lighting look like the OG old models.
This looks like something valve would put out when first advertising’s and explaining the game!
As a 3d printer fan, this video is awesome!
Same!
The random 1x1 Lego stud:😐
The ending is hilarious.
All the ingenuity and complexity of the machinery to make such things, and it gets destroyed by the Demo, Soldier, and Heavy like they were just guns blazin.
Engineer seems like the type of guy to invent 3D Printers incredibly early, I support this
Hahahahaha omg I laughed way too hard at the ending, the way the poor engie got juggled like that 😂
This felt like the TF2 equivalent to an episode of How It's Made.
That ending is one of the most relatable things I have ever seen in TF2 animations ...
As someone who plays a lot of engineer I always wondered how dispensers worked, and now I know.
So dispenser is basically ammo 3d printer, right?
Yes
@@HyperrealisticNoise1111 I'll never look at dispenser the same way.
Teamate: "MEDIC PLEASE HELP ME IM GONNA DI-"
This is amazing! Never really thought how a dispenser might actually work lol.
"need a dispenser her-"
To be honest i always was thinking that inside dispenser is small dancing medic but happy to finally see the true story, thank you
After seeing all these video, Im certain Alfarex is mech engineering major.
Seriously, you should add a intro to this video with the Meet The ____ Theme, "Meet The Dispenser" !
Amazing video and concept, loved every second of it!
I don't even play tf2, but these are so well-made and satisfying whenever they come out. Great video!
A molten steel/iron 3D microprinter. Makes sense and should be doable in the future.
impresive how engineer can build that in seconds
Fact: the Dispenser's full name is "Dispense-O-Matic 9000 Provisions Dispenser" as stated by the game manual
LETS GOOOO
didnt knew engineer's dispenser works like that. good animation btw :)
Heavy: a dispenser is a is a 3D printer?
Engineer: heck yeah
As a Blu Heavy, I can related that I always keep shooting on his ragdoll until it gets pushed all the way to the corner, collecting scraps and ammo from it too.
The ammo being 3D printed would explain how explosives don't destroy everything.
"there just 3d printers?" "always have been"
I love the fact that you make these “How things work in TF2” videos, it makes the game seem realistic rather than fictitious
The end was perfection, but I really like this take on 3d printing ammo, looks really cool
Fun animation! Personally I would've liked to see a little more "TF2 Style". Stuff like the 3D printer being like 5x faster, and printing every type of ammo and just hurling them all into a giant chaotic mess of ammo. Another really great fit would be more of a Rube Goldberg vibe with conveyors and pulleys and other weird contraptions (this vid does have _a little_ of that feel, but TF2 would go overboard with it).
"We fire the whole bullet, that's 33% more bullet per bullet."
The end just hits close home
0:47 pretty accurate, the team always wants a dispenser but they do not defend it.
The fact these things work at the speed of light
this is so well made, I love it
Alfarex is a good SFM creator as most of the secrets of TF2 (such as how a Sandvich was made, or how someone found a golden pan, or how an unusual was made) were shown in a good way. Great video making!
On top of that, there should be more secrets revealed as to how Scout's drinks work and how they are made
finally, dispenser lore
I’ve been lied to my whole life, also awesome video!
I always questioned how a dispenser is able to do so much. This is pretty outstanding
The song fits PERFECTLY for this
Now imagine how fast it's making these to produce everything like in game.
the engineer casually inventing a super-sonic-speed 3d printer that uses metal instead of pvc that can be deployed automatically in 10 seconds made out of 100 units of random scrap metal in the 1960's + it heals + it creates more metal out of literally nowhere + it somehow also creates propane, syringes and wooden arrows
🤣 Not really much diference between that and the rest of the TF2 universe...
OK the ending got me 🤣
3d printing a genius explanation of how dispensers function
all that complex 3d printing metal stuff and then: red fluid on an open flame near the machine that fills shells with gunpowder and builds rockets.
this is a "trust me! i'm an engineer" moment
Australium is so powerful that even it can print stuff - gray mann
Absolutely beautiful
great ending lol all that precision and effort from the dispenser just to be blown up in a push 5v1
And remember, Engineer can build this in mere SECONDS
God dammmm ! You’ve improved a lot since the last video ! Keep it up mate !
The secret about dispenser - do not place dispenser on the path of entire enemy team.
Inside dispenser is actually a bunch tiny desk engineer work
engineers are ba-
[free bird starts playing while this animation also plays]
"Ain't that a fine piece of work."
I like at the end the dispenser completely gets obliterated
Finally A closer look of how a dispenser works guess it really is like a modified 3-D printer that create ammo and heels
imagine tf2 except you have to build dispenser and sentrys piece by piece.
call it like Ikea Fortress
always love the endings.
Scout:"medi-"
for some reason I was sure that inside the dispenser there is a mini teleporter that teleports ammunition and metal inside the Dispenser
This would get a saxxy nomination if they still happened
its pretty interesting that the dispenser works that way
Super well done
I love how the captions just say thank you
This looks very realistic and practical and could be utilized in the future.
No
@@BetaTester704 And why not?
@@iaminsideyourwalls2021 you need materials to make ammo, which, with the printers, would take up more space and use energy, thus making it less practical than just putting a box of ammo in it
@@user-mb5zx1yb5s I feel like this comment is a joke..
but we won't know until this guy says so
so oh well
@@iaminsideyourwalls2021 3d printing ammunition is a horrible idea.
It'll never fly straight and casings will be prone to jamming.
Not to even mention the time required to print in metal.
These videos are so cool. Ngl
Realy well made! Keep it up
Looks great, nice work!
Love it
the tiny mann rtd: time to hide from these giants
Ah yes my favorite 3d printer company The Engineers and my favorite 3d printing product the Dispenser
Don't forget about the tendrils that dig into the earth and mine materials.
the auto subtitles say "thank you" lol
Plumbuses. Everybody has a plumbus in their home.
wouldnt be surprised if dell in tf2 universe was the original inventor of 3d printers
its actually a mini pootis heavy inside doing all of this
I think the theory of the dispenser having a mini teleporter connected to a random mann co warehouse is more sound
Given the form factor, this actually makes sense.
Cool animation, great idea.
Nah its gotta be more than that, because making a bullet that slow would not supply a whole team, unless this all happens within a blink of an eye
I gotta be honest these animations are the most fluid and beautiful I've ever seen
Stop tellin' my secrets!
" YO NEED A DISPENCER HERE"
All we need now is some Mississippi queen
New dispenser lore just dropped
If engineer can build this i'm pretty sure he can definitely make something more better
Beautiful
ants: this is gonna be my home
I think a Dispenser would already contain everything the Mercs need, basically like a vending machine. But interesting concept with the 3D printing.
Dispenser need more credit to team, they did them dirty 😤
YOUR CONTENT IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEUS. GREAT! 🤩😱
Good job Alfarex
This reminds me of some of those 'Gun' tiktoks
Dispenser Lore
This is amazing , you say you did all of this in BLENDER? hoooollyy
One these days this kind of 3D printers will be a thing in the military like infinite warfare
Ngl best tf2 video ever
That poor engie at the end, 🤣🤣🤣
