- A short animation I made in blender about how the bonk is made in tf2, scout's drink which makes him invulnerable for 8 seconds. I read in the label it contains radiation, so.

Scout: "I've been drinking radioactive crap for years?! What could be worse than that?!"
Medic: "Vell, not having a soul vould be very bad"
true
FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY FAZBEAR REFERENDECE?????/???
Soldier: "Teufort's water is American and delicious!"
@@thepyroshead458no have you not read the comics
Hell nah not having a soul is fun as hell
It seems perfectly normal for Bonk to contain radiation material.
*This drink literally allows you to dodge bullets (even rockets/fires) like in the Matrix.
it''s not just normal it's canon
Yeah no idea why scout can drink 5 of them in a row without even having any negative effects
Yes
I mean.. bonk atomic punch DOES make scout immune to damage for a couple seconds so it only makes sense
Also god damn scout has an iron liver
I really like how you somewhat followed the real steps used to make soda cans. The body is made of a single disc of aluminium stamped multiple times to get the shape (this was hidden inside the machine for a good reason), the decoration/logo is applied, the drink is dispensed and the can is sealed.
Good accuracy to TF2 and great animation overall
Only thing he forgot was the plastic lining inside of the can that prevents it from eating away at the metal
@@PassTheSnailsIt's radioactive, I don't think the plastic would help much here lol
Besides, they know it wouldn't last more than a few minutes before a Scout drank the whole thing in one go
@@Froggyman145 uh i think you mistook radiation for acid (and as long as i know most acids don't corrode plastic too so idk), but well even tho its radioactive it wouldnt have handom aluminum particles floating around
well it doesn't matter, because as you said the drink doesn't last long at all
*the ingenious design, of the aluminum beverage can*
I can't imagine scout goes through alot of bonk at a time, guy can only manage a sip. Not that I blame him, stuff is radioactive and Scout's just build different, as he's literally God's gift to women.
And he also is the most pedophile class lmao
True.
Well, he actually downs a whole can by it's looks
I'm beginning to think this guy is factory worker more than an animator.
maybe he is a contracted animator for an engineering company that builds factories. he may create these animations as a pitch in the board room
I read this entire thread in heavy's voice, it's fitting

@@mistermcphologer3832 OH NOOOO!
There is a difference ?
I had almost forgotten that bonk literally has radiation in it, how scout hasnt gotten cancer or just straight up mutated is beyond me
He dies too fast for it to matter in game

@@shadowbladezorru2748 the pro scout in the corner: 👁️👄👁️

Yep, literally water sugar and radiation.

@@hmroid6884 hey i drink that -poison- stuff, so i resent that remark
Welp, time to get into Monster Energy.
I'm pretty sure there was a real "medicine" at some point in the US that was just water and radium.
@@kleskthewarlock Yeah! Monster Energy can't afford radiation. Four Loko, maybe.
Scout drinks a radioactive drink on a regular basis. Medic literally outsmarted death.
TF2 mercenaries are really just built different
I've always wondered why Bonk would have radioactive uranium isotopes in it.
At least, other than for the sole purpose of making it as dangerous as possible, which seems to be the specialty of Mann Co. and basically everyone in the TF2 universe
For the flavour
@@zuhairihafiz mm i do love the *Geiger counter ticks* flavor
Well they do have shovels that can burst into flames.
They sell unsafe products for mens for multiple reasons.
And the first one is money.
It also has *several pounds* of added sugar.
I of course expected something a little disturbing. What else could it be...

JARATE!
how about this, mad milk is proved to NOT come from scout
hehe...come...
but in its description, its said to be a RADIATED NON-MILK SUBSTANCE
but it STILL COMES FROM COWS
so in other words, it can very much be a "male cow radiated substance"
@tenish 100% australian gold
Awesome animation as ever!
I swear this dude can make a commercial for real brands and i won’t tell the difference.
Devs: wait are you saying bonk contains uranium? Lead dev: nah scout can handle it.
Haha
‘Lead’ dev
Gotta love how the screen gets blurry from the radiation
I didn't even notice that! That's such a cool detail.
@@maxpare exactly this. The render settings were probably made lower since there’s so much light bouncing around. Don’t think it’s intentional
really? i thought that was my internet
@@SuperRaijin oh
@@SuperRaijineven if it isn’t intentional it’s still a neat little accidental detail
You must have had some experience in factory or metalworking, these animations are always so incredible
He has no clue how the body of a can is made, neither do you :) It would look much cooler if he showed the actual process... anyway this is great.

This is the REAL REASON why scout is so fast without equipment
Scout's hyperactivity and double jumping must be from the side effects of that rad material.
"Welcome back to How It's Made"
“In this episode we’re taking a look in the Bonk: Atomic punch factory”
That trail you see from scout when he runs doesn't actually exist. Its your eyes getting his image burnt into them from the amount of radiation his sweat gives off.
What trail are you talking about? I'm being serious.
love the effect of radiation to the camera when the box opens
He's always abnormally fast thanks to the reaction of sugar and uranium in his blood
so basically how you make a regular soda can, but add the radioactives in the soda's ingredient mixes
Radioactive Uranium isotopes to be exact.
Damn the animation is so smooth
I love the camera grain simulating the radiation interaction with the camera! Such a subtle detail but I love it, though it also may just be an artifact from other particles used
I like the way how they crush the radioactive stuff
This is a lot like the scene where Woody gets repaired. Oddly satisfying
Ah yes, every time scout opens his fridge (I think that’s what it is) a can of Bonk! manifests out of thin air. I wonder how he doesn’t find that weird at all?
Then again, same thing happens with ammo and health packs. They must’ve gotten used to it to the point where they don’t question it at all
Engie set that up i bet
Or, Mann Co deliveries
Nice. But, yeah it's called a refrigerator or fridge for short.
@@Action35 true.
0:25 i love how it blurs because of the radiation, nice detail
The bonk lore is strong, love this! It looks great :D
that's one hell of an immune system, scout has. scout will be in his 50s one day, with hair still intact.
Scout: "I drink an energy drink consisting of sugar and pure uranium."
Sniper: "No, matte"
Good work on the animation Alfarex.
Very fluid animations. Nice work!
I like how there's no flavoring or other ingredients just straight liquid radiation and water. I wonder how that would taste
Like metal or cancer if i had to guess
@@ElZik3rhow do you know what cancer tastes like?
@@thekiller7994 mix mc donald's sprite with their Iced Tea and a spoonful of diet coke. (If you want an extra touch, add some of their ice cream too)

I think its like splash, like flavored carbonated water.
This is art.
the way static slightly appears on the camera when getting near the radiation is awesome
Wonderfully made as usual.
Next up do the Mann milk/ Mad milk which is made with the help of Saxton Hale.
ayo
They always say that milk does a body good. What they don't know is that we've carefully infused our cows with some sweet wholesome thermonuclear radiation. Our milk tastes great and it will also give you the strength to kick ass!
100% Caffeine
89% Sugar
juice with a bit of uranium just for the flavor
@@juangabrielpomo2465 just a quick valve question but Gabe kinda loves to screw scout with high radiation juice I mean they like alcohol and lots of sugar can die for
Actually, I think it will taste like coke.
This makes sense that gabe screws the items for being highly radioactive juicr for a scout
100% caffeine
89% sugar
45% uranium
I always wondered what bonk tasted like and from the look of it, it probably taste like sprite or 7up
This animations are satisfying. Make more, and keep it up!
So Bonk is just 50% Uranium and 50% Sugar.
I think that's another white powder that isn't sugar...
I think its Australium
Or however you spell it
Are these assembly lines just hidden everywhere throughout the TF2 world?
i think they are made in specific assembly lines, they just have a faster way to dispense them
Nah, some of them lead directly to pocket teleporters. That's how your items "recharge" without having to grab more out of the locker.
@@kitsureiel3679 That's actually a very neat explanation

It's real awesome that Bonk is made in Chernobyl! Glad that big ol' facility and its contents haven't gone to waste!
if Bonk were made in Chernobyl, Scout/Jeremy would die 20 seconds after holding the can
awesome work dude
Food appears in his fridge, must be so great for him.
That was amazing! Nice work!
Scout: Medic, can i have übercharge?
Medic: We have übercharge at home

Awesome! I love the video bro keep up the great work!
Finally now I just need to make a machine to create bonk so I can sell it myself
Those radium pieces look mouth watering 😋 😍 💞
Imagine there just being factories behind every supply closet, i mean it has to be.
Thanks for this very informative video! I've always wondered how one of these were made.
Its great to see that high quality TF2 animations are still coming out! Good work!
Love this, I think it might be cool to get someone with a smooth voice to help with the next video and make it like an actual how it's made video you might see on the discovery Channel
I figured Bonk was someone pissing on a can and calling it a day.
Imagine if a machine would just open up a generic brand of soda, dispensing it into a hopper which is then mixed with the crushed uranium
If we could turn this into a series where it's videos on how tf2 items are made and can get Huggbees to narrate it, that would be incredible. Could probably call it "How it's crafted" or something like that lmao
"Here is the crusher, this is where a half pound chunks of plutonium is crushed into a fine powder, which is then added into carbonated water along with cherry extract"
Scout:*realizes that he is drinking radioactive material
Scout: this is fine
this looks so well! bravissimo!
I think that Alfarex is a real life engineer, I can't imagine anyone else making animations like these with such attention to detail, showing every step in the process, making it look like it could happen in the future.
He isnt a real engineer, this process was very inaccurate regarding how cans are made.
absolutely 10/10 video man. i smiled the entire time as I was watching it. the attention to detail with the Uranium radiation and the machinery getting the shape of the can just right is fantastic, and the Scout's excitement to grab his drink at the end really finishes it off nicely. amazing job! i loved your ammo box and Unusual videos as well, can't wait to see the next one!
Just your average soda recipe, but we put our little twist on it.
i clicked this half expecting it to just be the same conveyor belt as for jarate.
what about crit-a-cola?
İt's just plutonium instead of uranium and zinc
I love how these are all made in the least efficient way possible
that was actually really well made im surprised
At 60's - early 70's everybody still thought raidiation is safe. Tf2's timeline is 1969-1970 or something, so this is actually OSHA approved
I see potential here. Now you just need to create an animation on how Mad Milk is made.. 😳
it comes from moon cows
simple enough

Heavy: *"Delicious.. NOM!"*
It’s perfectly safe to leave the radioactive material container open 👍
In my head canon, bonk is just enriched uranium and crystal pepsi
Headcanon: Bonk! Atomic Punch hides some medications that counters side effects from excess Radiation, although it can't block all the things. As such, it became a policy and a basic survival trick for any good scouts to always wait a certain period of time between each drinks.
You know it’s gonna be a good day when Alfarex uploads.
The entire vid is just the sound that i love
I think we all forgot a key ingredient in the bonk...
*The best pint of The Sniper's Piss.*

this is the first time i have seen a tf2 animation made in blender and not sfm
i like the fact how theres a factory leading straight to the fridge.
I love how it goes into the supply box
reason why he lives dispite drinking a radioactive drink
the overcharged baboon heart in him
Scout is having cancer much earlier than the spy.
Valve needs to make an energy drink called BONK, it would be insane
This video will never get old...
Just like Scout.
Me: **A. Jones mode** They put uranium in the Bonk, which wrecks people's systems.
Can we appreciate the accuracy in how the can was made exactly how they do in the real world.
"i've yet to meet one that can outsmart bullet."
The liquid animations have no business being that satisfying to look at
The white sugary stuff thats added and blended with the remains of that lime-green glowing radioactive rock must be a EXTREMELY MODIFIED form of sugar that makes the radiation "friendly" and Scout would be fine because that would give him nothing but the effect to dodge anything for a few seconds
Can’t wait for the “Bonk Lore” edit
Best animation i've seen.
Thank you. I will be making it later
A process like that would explain why these are £5 a can
Best today on how it’s made
The reason it says atomic punch:
Now I know why scout is so fast
thx for the recipe ill try it now
