ruclips.net/video/Hyjg6PgqM_s/видео.html try for yourself! i never thought i would ever play this but i finally found a tutorial. getting those chords hit accurately and with enough power is the difficult part and this performer does it flawlessly. actually very impressive
@@nunyabusiness8538 100% agree. I learnt the notes and chords to this section in minutes, but musically and powerfully is where you work for yourself. It feels good to play from 8:54, very emotional :)
Welcome to musical organic chemistry. Scriabin is a functional group in his own regard. A noble compound Mr. Scriabin tends to be full of the ability to not react to or share the charge net of any other musical compound or element. Genius he is
In geology, Scriabin is a carbonatite. Quite a weirdo. Often draws comparison with other "similar" rock type, but those who know will know that the rock type is extremely different to the others. A bit of a rare and obscure one but its influence is growing rapidly. You either hate it or love it very intensely. Generates a lot of controversy but very influential and very important to academic development. Often regarded as very difficult to understand. Quite a match that I, someone researching on carbonatites, am listening to Scriabin.
I've got it pretty much in a flowing state where my fingers have muscle memoried it....and added the musical dynamics...it's not the most technically demanding but very lovely to play of course....
Yes, Chopin was his diving board into another realm. Hmmm. Still a very wide leap, but Scriabin somehow managed his own trajectory. Grace and power. Fury and drama. Ultimately, Scriabin.
Although they do have many similarities in musical language, the biggest difference in their mental expressiveness. Chopin likes impromptu gorgeous, Scriabin likes metaphysical thinking.
He has one of the best Vers la Flamme out there iirc. Student of Neuhaus at the Moscow Conservatory in the mid 20'th century. It's no coincidence that most of my favorite Scriabin recordings come from that school and that teacher. Neuhaus was a legendary teacher who loved Scriabin.
For me they're at opposite ends of the spectrum. They started off with very similar harmonic languages, but the writing couldn't be more different. Rachmaninov is all romanticism and drama, but Scriabin is ecstatic and other-worldly, with a dark streak which few others could invoke. Rach may have the better tunes, but Scriabin went places that Rach simply couldn't dare to. There is an odd conservatism to what Rach wrote which makes it seem as though he was too concerned about riling his friends and critics to progress as far as his talent would allow him to. Scriabin never really cared about what anyone thought about him, and veered off at the most unexpected tangent around the time he wrote the Poem of Extacy, in a way which changed the face of 20th Century music.

That moment from 3:16 to 3:32 is a punch to the gut. Emotion and energy in its purest, unfiltered form. Scriabin was such a genius it's awe inspiring
Agreed-gorgeous.👍
Lovely performance, and the music by Scriabin is great as always.
Just absolutely amazing! Scriabin’s music is without a doubt the most beautiful music ever composed.
TO AVER THAT ALL OF THE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC EVER COMPOSED IN HISTORY IS BENEATH THAT COMPOSED BY SCRIABIN IS INSANE.
The ending of the first is just so lovely.
8:54 ... unbelievable

Only picture I’ve seen where it looks like Scriabin is smiling. I like it. How did you find this???
It's from the documentary "Towards the light"
Indeed but its not like he looks sad or angry either in his usual photos, he looks relaxed and happy to me generaly
Superb playing !
Wonderful!!...THANK YOU!!!...
Great!
Absolutely can't find the words🎹

🤓
Very Chopin-esque....the early influence is very much there in his Romanticism especially number 1....it's beautiful and I'm learning it :)

It's influenced by Chopin but still distinctly Scriabin...

oceanic
that's a good adjective to describe it
Roiling

Wunderbar gestaltet wie ein Kosmos so weit bis hiner die Sonne
Superbe!
thank you
I ❤ Scriabin
❤💯
Luis, lovely playing. Tell me about the piano. Make & model? It is very well suited for Scriabin.
Is he smiling?
Very rare smile. He wasn't known to be very cheerful, somewhat a dramatic personality.
It really looks like a sincere smile. I think I'm right, for I rarely smile in photos too, unless obligued (where you can tell is a fake smile).
cut from a photo of him next to his second wife at the beginning of Dating.
@@daph0307wow man you’re just like Scriabin
特にop12-2は、著明なop8-12に匹敵する、より奥深い名曲である。後期の現代曲より前中期の曲の方がロマン派の後継者として耳に馴染むと思う。
As a horn player, if I hear a lot of piano music, it all starts to sound alike. Scriabin is an exception.
As a cellist, the more time I spend listening to piano pieces, the more I realize the great variety that can be in this instrument
Scriabin thought he himself was god. Maybe he was right :o
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Scriabin music it’s like rachmaninoff’s music , very personalized...
They studied together at the same time

NADA QUE VER CON RACHMANINOFF. DISCULPE.
